I really think football coverage in the uk needs more trained sports journalists (the kind with knowledge about obscure lower and international league teams, able to pronounce foreign names, not just the stars.) Most of the ex players are blatantly hypocritical and make no attempt to describe the gameplay. And instead roll out the same few superlatives in between distracting anecdotes. There are a few goid ones but coverage is not as good as it used to be.

As a half Croatian, half English. I have and will always supported Croatia, I will never forget Wembley 2007 as a child who grew up in NW10 and watched Wembley stadium being built before my eyes, the pure joy on my fathers face when we beat them 3-2, I will never forget, it was first match and probably first time in my life I stayed awake past 10pm. Luka is my hero and he is 100% right, even if England wins more in the future, they will never have the pure soul and passion that Croatia has, never!
