I'm playing the game and I've never gotten a heal off a Vampiric weapon. I think the percentage of heal is too low to matter compared to a Bane or Merciless weapon.

It gets repetitive shortly after midgame once you've got things mostly automated, but it's still fairly enjoyable regardless. Also doesnt help that the gameplay mechanics dont have much depth. Love the art and music though, so good!

@@MrBerserkPoo But it literally said, on-screen, "You needed witnesses for the murder"

"There were no witnesses" was a standard message that always pops up when applicable. Also, a quest will tell you if there's extra requirements. I had a quest where you had to murder at night for example. It seemed like the failed quest was a different quest. Too lazy to go back and check for that though.

Outhouses are a ways up the tech tree. It's not at all surprising that he wouldn't have them unlocked by episode 5.

Its weird how the time flows. I think the game may be showing how fleeting the life of mortals are to immortals. All of my fav followers are dead, there is no point in favs when they die in one or two sessions. :(

I could be wrong, but I think they're getting stuck outside trying to find a path into your temple, they should still generate faith from rituals and sermons Sick followers won't come to church stuff tho

@@melly20xx I had to make 2 followers fight in the death pit for a challenge and one of them would not show up no matter what I did though and I couldn't finish the challenge because of it and I can't sacrifice my elder followers because they never show up, it's frustrating

@@gabinpaloozi Oh that's brutal :/ Sermons worked at the very least, but the devs definitely have some work to do on squashing bugs 😬 Hopefully you're enjoying the game otherwise tho!

@@ursafacet I did it on max difficulty.. it was not hard. Had nearly everything maxed by day 40 with 16 followers

@@dman8988 someone is highly capping here, cause i am on day 62 with 30+ followers and still need devotion for some buildings. On hard btw, not very hard.

It's been a bit of bad luck, but also just bad decisions on his part. There were a *lot* of days where his followers would wake up, a bed would break, and he'd get the "not enough beds -20 faith" tick. When you only have the basic sleeping bag beds you *really* want to build a few extra, 2-3 beds breaking in one morning can dock you pretty good.

...also he keeps waking them up, interrupting them, not feeding them enough or feeding them stuff like grass meals which lowers faith, etc etc it all adds up.

I mean, I think the dungeon crawls are at least challenging him sufficiently at this level. as for the cult management...well, let him learn.

Feels like there should be twice the amount of upgrades, levels, devotion unlocks and so on. As it is right now the game is really shallow and the dungeon side of the game is really not impressive. It does look good though and the cult part is fun if not a little too easy

@@pasty609 Unfortunately I have, I generally like the games NL plays and have found some REALLY good games by watching. In addition, I've managed to generally avoid games that were not my cup of tea. That being said, Cult of Lamb was a middle ground where it appeared to have gameplay that I would enjoy but the game system is so shallow and braindead, it's really hard for me to recommend this game to anyone. This is despite the fact that it's a beautiful game with great sound design. It's just not a rogue lite and it pretends to be. It's actually a very simple city management game with no meaningful ways to differentiate what you create tacked onto some of the weakest combat I've ever seen in a game (control wise it's fine, just too easy?) Game takes too much inspiration from too many games and manages to be worse than all the games it tries to emulate. It's overrated.
