You know anytime someone calls attention to the breaking of gender roles, it ultimately undermines the concept of gender equality by implying that this is an exception and not the status quo. -Knuckles the Echidna
@scottydu81 no one is inherently equal in society. You either have the ability to coast through it, no issue or you struggle. And its a sliding scale.
Apparently we've reached a point where just by glancing on the woman's direction, whether or not it's intentional, will result in having law enforcement involved.
I wear ear buds and mind my own business. This includes help. So if I'm working out and you're about to get flatlined thank all the ones before you that started this. Cuz I ain't helping.
these women say they dont want to be approached, dont want to be looked at, dont want to evolve friendships into relationships, and then will complain that nobody wants them when theyre too old to thirst trap
Fun fact: Black men used to have to be super cautious about looking at white women in public places during and prior to the 1970s because of the irrational belief that any black dude looking at a white woman meant that dude wanted to pound her out or worse. Glad to know this is becoming the reality for ALL MEN towards ALL WOMEN some 50 years later. Such progress you've fostered, progressive liberals.
This is some Jim Crow, Christians in a Muslim country, Untouchables in India, level stuff. Like "merely looking at women is treated like sexual assault" is a thing in some places-but normally the man has to belong to an oppressed minority.
They don't (precisely) wanna show off. They want a reaction so they can go Karen mode. Second best thing one can do is ignore them, but even if you are literally blind, one of them will claim that you were "staring" and you will be kicked out (real case BTW). The very best thing gyms can do is ban cameras. They don't like it? Why not? Aren't they supposed to just go work out in peace?
Because we live in a society that practically endorses victim mentality and she likely gets a kick out of doing this too men mainly because men tend to get cancelled or worse in certain countries jail for yelling harassment even if it's false Basically these people get a kick out of denegrating men
All gyms need to enforce a "No Filming or Photography" rule. This would eliminate all the narcissists and "predator"-baiters and let people work out in peace.
@@SolTheIdiot I can assure you, there is more than enough content on the internet at this point, for you to be able to go through a full workout split.
It’s so weird to me that these kinds of people can’t just admit, they do it for attention. They wear that stuff for attention. It’s the same as a dude wearing a tank top that’s cut further open than needs to be to show off muscle. It’s the same exact thing. Why not just own up to it?
Because they also want to be able to play victim and put this stuff online to milk sympathy from their pathetic white knight simps. The Karening out is just an act, they also want to be looked at. Have their cake and eat it, too.
The sad thing is, this just continues to kill any form of genuine helpful interaction at the gym. Using myself as an example, I workout at my local gym late at night, very empty by those hours. Then I noticed a girl going to the pulley machine I had just tried to use. The pulleys were busted. I was going to walk over and tell her it was no good but suddenly had second thoughts walking back over in a very empty gym. In the end, I did nothing, told myself that she’ll figure it out in a minute. The thing is, had it been another guy, I probably wouldn’t have given it a second thought, but because it was a girl, I didn’t want to cause a misunderstanding.
as a guy who ran in track, I wore leggings and they were weirdly comfy, since I wasnt comfortable wearing just shorts, but its funny how people are like "girls are over sexualized", "men are creeps" and then proceed to put on these clothes, but if you say that sounds a little hypocritical they say "Let me wear what I want"
I could never even have a thought of wearing shorts that tight. Especially since i don't work out and if i suddenly started to work out with clothing like that my skin would get irritated very fast
As a woman it always seemed strange to me. But then again as I got older it seemed that all the clothes at the store for women got tighter and shorter. I had to go to the guys for some simple basketball shorts. Seriously go to the store and compare the women's clothes with the men. They are always super tight and form fitting. It's annoying. I also started to buy those nice t shirts. You buy a pack and get like 5 comfortable t shirts for excersise or work. I worked at a warehouse.
@@kellharris2491 Funny part is its usually men that came up with a lot these ideas for what women think is liberating clothing, just look at Victoria's Secret it was founded by a man and has been setting standards for years.
The fact we have been through this hundreds of time now but the consistently negative reaction doesn't stop some women from doing this shows that these women are happy to get any reaction from the internet, positive or negative. And it makes sense -- very few people would be watching these videos of women complaining about looks while blatantly showing themselves off to get looks if it wasn't effective rage bait.
i dont interact. i do the sensible thing and flag this type of content wich is the thing most people dont do wich is flagging and blocking the account, they interact (heck they go on to repost the fricken thing), comment on it so on so forth. this only goes through the algoritm and give more visibility even if all feedback on it is negative, why? becau they reinforce the algorithm into believing the content is good, and thus scummy people doing this wont stop, because they get the attention they want. stop interacting, start flag and blocking. these things make this type of bs get drowned out of social media.
@@sch3ffel My man, we need to start a flippin' Ted Talk or something! I've explained this to so many of my peers and family members to no avail - don't engage the attention seekers! Seriously, someone needs to come around with some kind of seminar or something to get the masses on this mentality - it just makes sense!
I'm a very observant person. I look around at my surroundings a lot. Sometimes people are in my field of view - shocker. Either these girls somehow don't understand, or they purposefully ignore, that looking at someone isn't the same thing as ogling. We as humans - not just men, humans - are wired to notice certain things. It isn't somehow morally wrong or tantamount to harassment.
Same! I literally scan ahead like a damn terminator 💀 I don't go to the gym, and I'm glad I don't if this is the result of me doing what I involuntarily do
peridolia. our brain is constantly looking for faces, its an old defense mechanism for noticing predators in the bushes. its so strong we see faces in random inanimate objects all the time, and in fact it is a good idea to draw a face on important things cause youre less likely to lose it.
0:38 "...it's because you sweat when you work out. not that you would know." Sweating is just more reason not to wear skin tight clothes. Realistically, it becomes a safety issue. If your clothes are skin tight and drenched in sweat, then you'll have no traction and could unintentionally move a certain way during an exercise. That's why men aren't supposed to be shirtless, because something like a bar could slip out of place and injure you. I wear a T-shirt and sweatpants. It's safe, comfortable, and is publicly appropriate attire. Sometimes I'll wear shorts, but I find sweats to be more comfortable since the gym has AC. I live in TX btw
I'm currently living in the spiral of frustration where i start thinking "I want to start working out so i can lose weight" and then i remember shiz like this and decide "ykw? Never mind." We unfortunately live in a world where even in a room full of people who are likely willing to help out you have people like these women just clout chasing whilst simultaneously giving women who actually WANT to work out a very unfortunate reason to be skeptical of.
I know there are horrible people this this everywhere, but are you really going to let them stop you from being the best version of yourself? Don't let them take that away from you. Do your best, we can all achieve things if we just start on them!
@@nangsanbhalangblah333 if we can, we should, but sometimes it's hard to get the motivation to work out when you're just at home. for myself, there's a gym nearby, and thankfully everyone there is friendly and not a clout-chaser.
I’m a 40-year-old woman, so I’m sure I’m out of touch. But why is it bad if men notice a beautiful woman? Assuming he isn’t being lewd or devouring her with his eyes, then it seems very normal to me. Punishing men for that kind of thing is unfair and also terrible for the state of dating and even friendship between men and women. Also, it may take more effort to get appreciative looks from the gents as you age, ladies 😆
Because current western generation constantly fail to use their head and always act out on emotiones, coupled with growing up extremely sheltered you get people who are out of touch with common sense and are absurdly inconsistent in their views. The most sexually free generation and they act like complete prudes and deem almost any form of acknowledgment persons attractiveness as creepy, predatory and inappropriate.
I don't know what their Mums taught these girls or if they learned it elsewhere but it's sad they choose to be 'offended' over appreciative. So long as no one's leering or approaching them, looking is something young people have done since time began and it's perfectly harmless. We can be forgiven for being somewhat suspicious of the motives of some who dress a particular way and take their camera. We all reach the age when the 'looks' stop, often to the point of invisibility. They may wish they hadn't been so quick to judge.
The funniest thing I've seen in the gym? I was working out when I saw a girl trying to expose a guy "looking at her", heh that guy is a father and it's blind (his son was helping him with the weights and machines) 🙃
Here's the thing I'm not much of a gym going but if you do any repetitive form of exercise or action. What happens is that you are more then likely going to enter a brain state where your eyes start to wander. The state also happens when you're extremely bored. You don't have to focus as hard on what you're doing. For example this happens also when you're eating in a restaurant. Your eyes will almost snap to something more interesting. Like a table being a served. A waitress/waiter moving and so on. Someone is having a birthday cake served to them. Some lunatic screaming in the corner. They're all part of the same behaviour as it's what keeps you alive. If you're not aware of what others are doing then you're likely to be involved in an accident or a predator (As in wildlife) gobble you up. You're not a creep for looking around as loads of people do this constantly. Waiting for a bus? Guess what you're watching cars whiz past. You're watching that Pigeon eat some crumbs. Your eyes follow a random stranger on the opposite side of the street.
To be completely fair, a lot of these women consider comfortable attire to pretty much be underwear. So they're more interested in their selfish interests instead of allowing everyone to be comfortable in public environment.
It really gets out of hand sometimes. Just recently there were so many people in the gym staring jealously at me, I couldn't enjoy my greasy cheeseburger in peace.
So we're reaching the point where men either will need a "Male only gym" or to invest in private in home gyms just to be safe from being called pervert?
But then that’d cause a ruckus over sexism or male superiority or discrimination or whatever people wanna get mad about. (Jokes aside I think that’d be a fun idea for them. A lot more peaceful. )
Woman: you don't know what its like to cover up. Everysingle guy ive seen at the gym along with myself, long shorts or pants and tshirt or tank top some even wear long sleeve shirts.
I've seen my fair share of women at my local gym pushing it with the dress code. I don't want to jump the gun and assume the worst, but sometimes it does feel like some of these women are fishing for glances (especially when they pull their phones out and start taking pics in the mirror). I live with that same paranoia. I find myself darting away every time I see them do this, and I have to awkwardly look away as much as possible when they're in my line of sight.
That’s because a fair amount of them do do that, yet act like they don’t for some reason as if it’s wrong that they do. You want to look good and actively try to get peoples attention that way, go for it. Long as you own up to it is my opinion, and long as you don’t try why these gals did using it to try and ‘expose’ men. When let’s be real, man or woman is gonna be lookin at you if you pull up spandex like that at the gym. It ain’t just a male gaze thing lol
@@OutlawKING111 I’m not against women having confidence. You’re taking what I said out of context, white knight. I said “ _over promoting_ girls’ self esteem”.

I go to the Gym so I can work out and focus on bulking up. I have to so I can be ready to outlift Swolemort. Just because we both lifted the Forbidden Weight doesn’t mean I’m ready. I got kicked out of Planet Fitness for doing Curls in the Squat rack, almost got sent to Azztograzz for it, but I persevered. I’ve had looks at the gym. And I just ignore. I just don’t like ridiculousness. It’s so sad that we’re at this state where we can’t be comfortable at the gym. This is bad for men and women. The more this keeps happening the more likely men are gonna get uncomfortable around women in the gym.
@@tkpsor they just generally feel more comfortable like that? I'm pretty sure the whole covering the ass thing is done by everybody. Myself included. Though, I've got my own reasons for it. One of them is because I hate tucking my shit in.
As a man, I don't understand how pulling your shorts up to the point where you are literally giving yourself a wedgie is "comfortable". In fact, I don't understand why women wear short shorts like that if they aren't doing it for attention. Like, come on, I would be uncomfortable as hell wearing those shorts.
Returned to the gym after almost 4 years away due to ongoing injuries that made it difficult to do more than 3 - 4 reps every hour. Walked into the gym lobby to renew my membership, they walked me around the gym area shows the new equipment insta models filming in each of the corners of the area. I turned around and walked out. Couple guys from work are going to help me set up a rope ladder and pull up bar in the backyard. Just need to finish the paper work for land use with the land lord

I work out 5 times a week at my gym, weekends off cause it's my only days off work and those are my me days. I don't do anything special, just general work outs I'm not the most fit muscular person that said I am lean and clean person. I ride my bike casually also, not trying to push myself, as I enjoy a relaxing ride on cool spring, summer, and fall days and I have done this for about 17 years now, I am 30... 2 things, 1, I seen girls like this at my gym, she's 100% showing off, she knows she is, she wants attention and nothing more and to try to tell on men 2, we've seen girls, exactly like this, wearing the exact same super tight clothes including tops, and trying to get "men" in trouble and I have seen them both flirt there asses off with the biggest and hottest guys they can find, complain to staff when people they don't want to look look, and, hopefully her gym is like mine but, filming is not aloud and I've seen women, and a few guys (Different reasons) caught filming and it is a no warning removal from the gym and membership suspension. I hope that happened to her
So they want to show off at the gym, but they get mad if they’re shown attention…? That literally makes no sense but then again alot of things don’t make sense today.
This is why, you report them immediately to the manager or owner of the establishment. There's a sense of privacy when you go to a gym, which means before you and them. That they're recording themselves in those weird positions, in your in it, they're invading your privacy. And now it's caught Slippin, just wear a blindfold or wear a pair of sunglasses. They can't tell where you're looking. And even if the blindfold is shear, they can't tell from the outside.
You'd think with the kind of coverage this issue gets it would happen less. Unfortunately, it seems to be happening more and more. I've thought about going to the gym, but I guess I could always settle for working out at home. That, and I already work in a field that requires physical labor.
....so ya know the internet... is people... who use the Internet with eyeballs... meaning they see what you post... meaning you just exposed yourself to a lot more people than were at that gym. Genius
“Eek, stop staring at me when I’m dressed in a salacious and attention grabbing manner, and I’m blocking a path to the weights or a walkway while filming myself to upload on the internet!”
Personally, I like wearing bagging clothes and leggings to workout especially that one where I don't taste the fabric between my buttcrack. Seriously, They should ban taking photos and videos.

I would like to go to the gym, but now I'm too afraid. Guess I have to be weak and miserable human being after all because of people with bad intentions.
Most Gym goer's don't pay too much attention to what others wear, unless it's actively out of the norm. As for the sweat and it getting on equipment, yeah there are clothes for it, but you can also use a towel. Now for the video itself... it honestly depends on what counts as 'comfortable' gym wear. Comfortable is subjective after all. If my GF went to a gym wearing a thong or something than yeah, I may say it may be a bad idea. For the second video, yeah I agree with the guy talking, even if they're in public and she can film whatever, but for inside a gym, you usually have to have the gym agree to it, especially if you're setting up any equipment to film, but once in your indoors, anywhere there more legal crap to go through than if you were at a park or on the sidewalk. It's a lot of liability for the gym in the end.
Exactly. If a woman wears a thong to the gym, she has no business complaining about getting looks. Especially when they bring a camera into the gym to film themselves.
