tbh its not about that, its about 2 things as far as I see, control and clout. They want to be able to control other people and if anyone steps out of line in any way they want the clout for taking them down somehow
Don’t film yourself if you don’t want to be criticized and or laughed at, simple as that. We have people like this women who treats the world like it’s their studio, will get mad if someone interrupts them and will throw a tantrum. Just work out at home if people bother you so much.

gyms should make recording/filming against the rules and if anyone is found breaking the rules then they are immediately kicked out and permanently banned
You assume gyms WANT people using their equipment. I think they like it better when you sign up and then eat donuts at home and never come while still paying.
I film myself sometimes just to see if I am actually using proper form on my lifts especially ones that i am inexperienced at or just adding to my routine. I really don't care if someone walks through my set but i just need the visual reference to make sure i don't hurt myself doing something wrong.
Some locations do ban recording devices as they can be a distraction and get the user hurt, but can also be used to invade the privacy of others. But it is mainly a location by location thing, not a corporate or state law.
Also the fact that women wanted equality so....no segregation. Which is on them. Also if they have the money for gym members surely they have enough money to have a simple workout equipment which all you really need is a bench and adjustable dumbells which for me, works out fine.
As a gym goer, I assure you. This kind of person purposely went to the public gym just for the sake of getting attention. The reason they were upset is not because of the disruption but they didn't get the RIGHT kind of attention they were expecting. If they really care about privacy, they wouldn't go there to begin with.
I'm pretty sure some, if not most of women who record themselves in the gym, they do it expecting to be someone (typically a man) walking around, minding his own business, and then rant about male gaze or some other BS for clout. Joey is right by calling them out by what they are: clout chasers.
As a woman myself, i agree. I can't stand when women do this, and all just to make guys who minding their business look like perverts or bad people 🙄 Like if she wants to record herself working out, then just do what Joey says: build a home gym!
I have a friend who is a female body builder. She films her workouts to check her form. She’s never once complained about dudes. The only time she ever complained about anyone stepping in front of her was during a heavy lift and it distracted her, but it had nothing to do with him being a man, and she never even hinted that he was hitting on her or anything, he just wasn’t paying attention. Point being that not all ppl, or women, who film their workouts are doing it for the same reasons these morons are.

I grew up in Portugal and a few years back we had women only gyms because women were "uncomfortable" working out in front of men. Despite it being against the law, can we bring that back? Because it seems that the "uncomfortable" part was mainly the fact that men don't give them the attention that they crave. In fact, I'll say one better; Men only gyms so that females can workout "in peace" and not have those "pesky men" bother them.
It's not going to end lmao. When have women been incorporated into an industry and been taken out of it before. It goes kinda like this: Niche > Normies > mainstream > women > Ruined
If my memory is correct in the states have women only gyms but feminists got mad when men only gyms were made and they got shut down ofc this was years ago so this might’ve change
@@LordNithilus These people are like 1/10. The better solution is to ban idiots from your gym as they appear. I don't think these people are going to listen to a rule banning cameras. They will come in, break the filming rules, then upload their stupid video for people to call them out. They don't care about rules. The only thing banning filming will do is harm the thousands of people doing things properly.
And especially encourage fat or flimsy (as in, stringbeans w no muscle) people working out at the gym. They're more likely to be at the beginning of their journey when it's hardest to stay dedicated & they have the longest road to go, but by simply being there it means they're taking everyone's well-meaning advice and they should NOT be discouraged away from that!
Because they're chasing clout, not the benefits of the gym. And because it's easier work trying to clout chase than, I don't know, actually getting a real job?

One: *It's a public space.* Want to film yourself working out with little to no interruptions? Get a space where people don't pass to much (after checking if filming is allowed) or train and film yourself at home. :/ Two: *Why are you throwing the dumbbells?!* Doing so carries a risk of someone getting hurt, including yourself! 🤦🏾♀️
I once walked in front of a woman filiming in the gym. She started going off on me, eventually the conversation ended up like this, "What? Were you interested or something? Well too bad, no fatss like you is getting any of this!" "No thanks, I'm not interested in narcissists." "Oh really? So what does that make you?" "Someone with standards." The guys around us were going "OOOOOHHHH!!!!!" and she just left. Made a bunch of gym buddies after that incident.
Let's ignore the man walking through the video for a moment. What the hell even is the point of her video? She's not making an instructional video. Her form is bad. She doesn't qualify as eye candy. And did you really sign up to a gym just to use dumbells when you can easily buy them from Amazon for cheap and use them at home? It's almost like she intentionally chose a spot next to the weight rack and positioned her phone 10 feet away just to farm outrage.
She reminds me of the annoying students at my old school, who liked to sit on the stairs or, at the time of finish, stand right there by the exit and talk to their friends, obstructing the path. And a lot of times when I told them to move out of the way (mind you, in a respectful tone) they would roll their eyes. I should've just pushed them out of the way.

I’d rather watch what that guy was doing walking back and forth in the gym than what this girl was trying to do. Also, more than half the time, people go for gyms just for social media purposes, rather than what a gym is for.

I've worked out in three gyms in Egypt, all of which was segregated, suprise suprise, none of this shit happens, like why are people so opposed to idea of "men only gym" and "women only gym" there's literally no downside to this shit.
If there were men only gyms where I live I would use them. I feel really unconfortable to work out in the same space as women. I fear one of them will try to make me look like a creep and destroy my life.

I desperately need to go to the gym. Im in very bad shape. But this is the primary reason I DONT GO. I am a happily married man (to a beautiful woman, somehow lol!), and I have no interest in looking at some THOT. last thing I want is to be in a video and shamed, or even have to deal with some crazy chick thinking i am looking at them. As an unattractive person... they aint gonna take my side.
I go to the gym 4 times a week and have never felt uncomfortable at the gym because of guys cause they minding their own business like those guys in the vid. Get over yourself, missy 💀
if we do a separate gender gym, it's sexiest if we combine the gym like a normal gym, it's predator/stalker/pervert. Want private but go to the public gym where people go to workout. Don't want to see you record your workout but you share the video with public for people to see your workout.. WHAT

Seeing Joey Swol take down these gym whores is a real uplifter (pun intended). I also recently joined a gym for myself to work on my cardio, finding myself wheezing a lot less than before and the gym feels like a second home 👍
the selfishness of these people. when will Gyms finally do better themselves and BAN filming in their rooms? maybe people should go to the managements and complain about narcicists filming without permission each and every single time - and demand refunds if the staff isnt able or willing to stop this. maybe gyms have to bleed members and money until they finally react.

Honestly just ban recording vids in gyms. The sooner, the better, the safer. It's mostly for the clout chasing social media influencers looking to cause problems. Not bashing the other guy in the next vid. He's just being funny, along with Joey.
Get the bowflex dumbells with adjustable weights. Leave these women to stew in their narssisitic soup. Women cant be wrong, that should be obvious by now.
Try the 3,3,3 workout, 3 sets of 3 with 3 minute rest between sets. At enough weight that failure kicks in on the 3rd rep. NOT to be done more than once in a 5 day period, your joints and ligaments need higher rest than your muscles do with this one. I do it lower body one day, upper body the next, wait 5-6 days, and do lower body again. I need to switch gyms, as ive maxed out all the machines at my Planet Fitness with this routine. (My reasoning for strength training vs hypertrophy, is Im an endomorph, I grow muscle no matter what, so Ill be big no matter what, but I also seem to have an aura that pisses everyone off, so they feel the need to try to rob or bully me, so the strength and show of force definitely deters that) If you’re working on a shoulder injure, you really shouldn’t be doing heavy dumbbell presses, you need your shoulders to lift that weight in order to get it into position, unless you have a spotter that can just hand you the dumbbells.

The gym is a holy place, and a sanctuary for people to work out. There's zero room for clout chasing and trying to cause trouble, one these days, those girls will eventually get into serious trouble when the gym equipment can potentially hurt anyone if one mistake was made.
The janitor at my gym saw me recording and she started saying, “sorry” alot. Bruh, I’m not even mad. I can just do a fake set for the vid again. I think she has been getting dirty looks whenever she accidentally got in front of someone’s video.
Well, we’ve learned here in America that the one that screams the most gets their way it’s gross, but and there’s other factors involved with this lady but we’re just gonna stick to if you call yourself a victim. Loud enough people will come in and wipe the tears from your eyes.
