i love how ryan transformed the type of interaction with the first woman in which she started off shy, scared and confused and when they spoke chinese she opened up to him and turned into a confident gossipy woman. so wholesome

Not gonna lie, after visiting Indonesia, your Bahasa has some local flare in it. This shows that you can absorb language more efficient when you blend with the culture. Good job.

But it is what it is, like you guys claimed yourself as Asian but you guys should be called as Melanesian. Asian label was created by european and american.

Something that is so great about your videos, Ryan, is they really showcase how people around the world are all just people. Once you're able to speak in their language they really light up and their personality comes out.
I love your videos Ryan. I'm currently learning Mandarin so I watch all your vids, then write down the time stamp on all your Chinese conversation for studying purposes. They've helped me out more than any other videos on RU-vid, or on learning apps.If you ever decide to create a website or program for language learning, you could just lump the same languages together into their own vids and add Mandarin subtitles either above or below the English ones. I still can't get over the fact he wasn't able to meet anyone he's chatted with while in Indonesia...it just seems there were so many 1 might of seen his videos and made an effort...still keep up the good work...making people smile and delivering good will

Aw, I love how that first girl completely changed her attitude and her face lit up when you started speaking Chinese. She was trying so hard to communicate what she was trying to say in English. Haha she wants talk to handsome boys but hasn't met one yet while talking to you, haha.
I love these kind of interactions. So many closed-minded people out there. The biggest thing ive learned after traveling to multiple nations, is that intrinsically we are all the same, and want the same things. Stereotypes are for the closed-minded. You have to see the world. Ive met so many lovely people.
Think of all these incredibly gifted people that we would’ve never known about without social media… I am blown away by these people that know multiple languages

My fiancé is Ukrainian and they speak more Russian and Ukraine is close. She said it’s one of the hardest languages to learn and the alphabet is so different. Very impressive

I hope you don’t mind, but just to correct you, “boleh” is used to indicate allowance/permission, while “bisa” is for ability. So when you want to say that you can speak Indonesian, always use “bisa” although I understand that in English it’s possible to use “can” for both occasions.

@@RyanHaleYT Tamil is quite a challenging language and is left out quite a lot even though its the oldest language still spoken to this day. Would be interesting to see a foreigner get close to pronouncing a single word correctly lol.
