Killing Dwayne always felt wrong, that's why I kill playboy X instead throughout every gta 4 run because he was always a snake only caring about himself, also Dwayne's backup ability is really useful.
Claude didn’t betray Salvatore. Salvatore betrayed Claude. Claude also betrayed Asuka by killing her brother. Niko also betrayed Ray Boccino as well as Francis, or Derrick, or Playboy or Dwayne. CJ has betrayed the Loco Syndicate. Trevor killing Johnny being contextualised as a betrayal is actually very interesting, I haven’t thought of that. I view Sonny and Tommy’s relationship as both of them have betrayed each other. Tommy manipulated Diaz’ trust and then killed him for his empire.
I wouldn't count CJ's thing as betrayal. It's actually the same case as Tommy and Diaz, but CJ only wanted to ruin Big Smoke's coke business. Btw. Tommy didn't kill Diaz for his empire, but the main reason was that Diaz sabotaged the coke transaction from the beginning.
Glad to see Jimmy Pegorino on this video. Niko logically would have to kill Dimitri after everything he had done to Niko, but as far as Pegorino is concerned, Niko went back on his word and ruined the deal that would have saved the Pegorino Family.
Killing Dimitri was obviously the smart thing for Niko to do, but it was most definitely a betrayal against Pegorino. Jimmy needed that money or the Commission was going to come down on him like a ton of bricks, Niko agreed to do it and killed Dimitri, ruining the Pegorino family, I would call that betrayal. Unless you believe that trying to kill a character is the only way that character can be betrayed.
