Tip to 1 feels unnecessary. Runick stun is only in the game because there are floodgates. Bann these and runick will be played in good decks like white wood or spright
@@nashcifer5666 Having your deck rely exclusively on generic monsters just means it's not good at all. It's like dinos, now they lost their generic boss monsters and can use DINOS. Just use a pendulum-themed deck or else you'll end up playing business as usual by changing the main deck.
@@molturcain6053 my good sir/madam Do you know how many usable Extra deck Pendulum Monsters there are that don't require ludicrous amounts of investment or setup? You can count them on one hand... I'd like to use Pendulum themed Extra deck bosses but their lackluster to say the least.
One thing i dislike about tcg banlist is that the banlist is way more blatant in grubbing your money than ocg one. At least the OCG is willing to slap the meta deck in hand as a warning event if the deck is relatively new while tcg will suck your money first with reprint before hitting those problematic card
Dragon Rulers to 2 would be nice to see, even 3. Thing is Dragon Rulers if they get back to 3 they are at full power, Sacred Sword is at 3 and so is Super Rejuv, it might not see meta play as much, but you can be DAMN sure that if they have XYZ Monsters coming for them such as Blaze or even Link Monsters, that deck will pick right back up to being a very strong Tier 2 or pushing Tier 1. Especially now with the landscape of the game, new Rank 7s have come out since their inception, and with the introduction to link monsters, you can link climb with Dracossack's Tokens. And Dracossack being at 3 (Though I personally would run a 2 of) you can make some very interesting plays with them. Right now their involvement with Armed Dragon Thunder is just a support engine for Armed Dragon. Mind you, the Mythic Dragon Engine is still available to give Dragon Rulers access to Rank 8s. Hope Harbinger, Zombie Vampire, even the generic Rank 8s, Thunder End Dragon, Draglubion, Photon Lord, you name it, theyll most likely be running it. Shit you splash in a Horus engine into that deck, instant Rank 8 access regardless.
Honestly, Dragon Rulers could be back to 3, maybe they could do something in Dragon link, but i dont see them being that impactfull atm, even at Rank 7 xyz Kash is just more consitent and faster while having more control.
@@Custarddolphin ok lets put it into perspective. Turn 1. Im playing lets say snake eye with stun cards. I get handtrapped and have to stop my combo. I then set 2 cards (skill drain and maybe crossout). You dont have any backrow removal and skill drain kills your deck. You cant play and have to set a monster and a few backrow interruptio s and pass hoping those backrow will be enough to stop me. I then draw and activate heavy storm. I just essentially killed whatever you had on field as well as got rid of the floodgates that didnt allow either of us to play and now I can just OTK from there. Does that sound fun?

Before watching the whole video, what could nerf snake eye would be banning original sinful spoil and poplar (sorry my boy but it’s necessary), banning this two also hits cards like ash and Diabellstar, because they don’t have a proper follow up of special summoning a monster after it’s summon effect and can’t search for the field spell with poplar anymore, and limit of wanted and ash,it seems to have an impact on MD, hitting flamberge is good but that would be removing its own unique boss monster
I think Kashtira Fenrir is gonna be banned. It's a very broken card that makes breakable boards unbreakable because of how oppressive it is. Its effect is something that boss monsters from the Extra Deck wishes they have. The OCG already banned it for good reason. It needs to go.
Apollousa has alt art and is not toxic. Can't just ban any card for having a good effect. Go back to complaining about real problem cards. D barrier, deck dev/erad virus. Hot red VFD.
lol what? cards that are only good during second turn, are not searchable and still can be outplayed. apo is useful in almost literally every deck, and is no one per turn.
How I would LOVE having Reasoning/Gate back to 3, but I feel TCG will be stubborn to do that because it was mainly hit because of the FTK which I still to this day don't understand why they just don't hit the burn cards like Gustav Max, Cannon Soldier, etc.
You're correct it's not what the Badlands should be like what the bandits should be like is every floodgate card ever been made should be unbanned and put to three and MaxxC should be put to three gateway of the 6th should be put to three
I like dimensional barrier, but instead of killing the opponent extra deck i think it would be more fun to limit the number of summon of a type of extra deck monster (for example, you can only do 2 link summon, or 2 xyz summon, etc...
- Anti-Spell: While it's definitely banworthy, i believe it will linger at 1 just like Gozen/Rivarly/TCBOO. Addressing Skill Drain here, while I consider it weaker than the previously mentioned floodgates (and people will swap it for Powersink or Lockdown) I believe it's not unfair enough to be hit. Snakes need the hit anyway because they turn floodgates off on demand, and I find it incredibly ironic that it's always combo decks responsible for banning floodgates, instead of something like Runic Stun. - Apollo: I consider a ban on her + IP (along Baronne and Savage) a "rotation" for Yugioh, ending the typical end board and requiring more flexible interruptions (removal is always fairer compared to negation). However I don't see Apo getting hit this list, but the next one which I believe will be the nuke one ending snakes. - WANTED: I hope I'm wrong about this, but I believe it will stay at 3 until it gets a big cash in reprint that will sell an entire set. Tins have Unity and Pride this year so 400 cards, I don't know if this will be reprinted there, but it would definitely sell a November/December weak Deck Build Pack etc. I could also see Diabel going to 1 instead in order to protect Wanted's price. - Oak: On that I totally agree, and I would even raise the hits by limiting Poplar (making it a soft brick) and potentially Flamberge as well. A slap on the wrist that I believe will maintain Snakes as the best deck, a bit more fragile but Fiendsmiths are a perfect fix forcing players to buy them. Just like the first Tear hit. Banning Flam is like hitting Kitkalos, and about OSS I believe it won't be touched until we get an alternative Sinful Spoil for Diabel to use. - Sanctifire: Definitely banworthy. But TCG has a soft spot for Branded compared to OCG/MD so depending on whether we get the Branded Lore Book from OCG or not may decide this. I believed it would survive just like King Calamity (another card that should be banned) because the deck did nothing, but Pak's feature and Eng Nats win could be responsible for the hit. - Runick: I believe it completely off the radar (despite topping), especially if Skill Drain is going to 1. Hugin has always been the problem for Runick, limit Hugin and no other hit is needed. Turning every Runick spell into "Tip for Fountain" is huge, but no OPT on Hugin makes Imperm/Ash on it useless as long as they open a 2nd Runick spell and a way to remove Hugin from the EMZ. With 1 Hugin , interruption on it would matter. Also removes longevity from the stun build, while combo builds with Duality or Bystials can inherently recycle it. - Dbarrier: Lingering floodgate effects are the worst mechanic of the game after hand/extra/deckrip in my opinion. Dbarrier, DDG, Dweller should all be banned. But despite that, they are so dependent on the format i don't see them getting banned. Dbarrier survived when Swoso (synchro) and Branded (fusion) were the 2 best decks, Snakes don't care about it, Woods can go into Runick/Link spam builds and Puppets are nostalgia bait. It would be a welcome surprise if it went to 0 (not just 1) and would force Lab to play less stun (I love Lab, and want it to be viable without floodgates) - Heavy Storm: I can see that, although i would prefer a 2nd Duster or 3rd Lightning over this because of the synergy breaking your own spell/traps. - Talent: God yes, i want to see the win rate of Talents looking for hand during turn 1. I wouldn't be surprised if it's +80%. A format-warping card - Crossout: Really good point. Also would love a Prosperity semi-limit until it eventually gets limited, and Fenrir. IMO Fen is a perfectly designed card for the semi-list, all around powerful but not oppressive. Then Pank can go to 3.
Meanwhile, we got no mention of Beatrice. Do you believe it will stay legal to push Fiendsmith even more? I believe Ceasar and Apollo are enough to push them, but Beatrice allows them to do almost anything in the game. Worthy enough to make a separate comment about her lol. As a fiend enjoyer I would hate a hit to BA without even new support for so many years, but she has become incredibly problematic.
Then ban cosmic cyclone and cards that put floodgates since you players act like cards like skill drain is the problem when your lazy to use the out and complain
@@StolenMemes-101 literally no hit snake eyes period. They need flamberge or ash or popular banned. Fire king pure is fine but anything snake eyes is ridiculous. I only play MD so take with a grain of salt. But consistency hits do nothing to snake eyes.
Apollousa needs to be banned simply because of how splashable she is to any deck, really any generic negates need to be banned and keep negates to traps or hard to summon achetype boss monsters
with apollousa out, there are chances of mite returning, plus some combinations with other pendulum decks. melodious in pendulum is pretty good, also you can do stuff with superheavy samurai.

I feel like appo is balanced, it's once per chain, can be attacked over . Not quite skill drain on legs lol but it being immune to destruction because of IP can be annoying, I can see how it's comparable to barron and savage though so who knows

Or or. Just ban a bunch of snake eyes cards and let the meta shift. Literally haven't seen a single person that doesn't HATE Snake Eyes and the snake eyes meta. Even the people playing the deck have no joy in anything they're doing. There's no love for the game because they know they're going to lose if they don't have enough one card starters to play through the opponents hand traps.
Thing is, Apo and I:P are also common in other Decks and sometimes even needed, Master Duel and the last banlist, showed that the extra deck isnt the main issue, its whats in the Main deck, so i would actually just limit both Poplar and Ash to 1 and semi limit Diabellstar will either kill the Deck or slow it down so much, thats its pretty much based on luck to draw the Starters.
@@TnD12754 Honestly, Snake-Eye is the main reason why i play Kash nowadways, you either Set Macro, Fissure or Shifter and they cant play, its the only way imo dealing with it atm.
@@alexandergeorgiev74 Skill Drain isn't searchable, Apo is always accessible in your extra deck, and while it should have been a costly (and fair) boss monster, you can easily link climb to it via Charmers and Selene effectively turning her into a link 2 if the opponent has the audacity to handtrap you. Then from that point you need another 2 handtraps just to successfully interact with the opponent. And god forbid they opened talent looking at your hand, it's an instant loss. So in the end, Skill Drain is there as a backup plan when you have no play similar to Bagooska, while Apo either helps make your board significantly better or (in my opinion the most oppressive part) protects you make that big board, punishing the going second player for losing the dice. That's why Snakes are the reason floodgates are getting banned and not Runick Stun. It has always been combo decks that break floodgates. Meanwhile, while I find Skill Drain the weakest of the generic floodgates (Imperial Order > Anti Spell > Summon Limit > TCBOO > Rivalry > Gozen >>> Skill Drain), I still believe it's broken and banworthy, with a reatrain down the line which prevents abuse in combo decks being the ideal solution.
I don't see skill drain getting hit, it's a completely fair card that affects both players and some decks it's essential against most oppressively toxic combo decks.

As a Branded player I disagree, this type of mentality it's same as banning every good tuner instead of Halqifibrax, players will always find a new good card to summon out of sanctifire since the card pool is so big e new cards are coming out every month, for example you could replace puppet with DD orthos. Sanctifire needs to go
@@FedeGeko34eh sanc makes the deck a lot better and gives plays into already established boards outside of puppet, RA, and Ido Lock. I think an errata would be better, but it’s not that broken tbh. This would especially suck in Masterduel, because this is the decks only play into Maxx C as well.

You aren't being reasonable asking runick players to have only 1 Hugin. 2 tip would make runick a little less consistent but it would also be better to have fountain to 1 as well. Fountain to 1 and tip to 2 seems to be the trick to keep both runick Alive and have its consistency for the various lines.

This argument has been proven wrong hundreds of times already. Ban puppet and it will be replaced by another floodgate. Ban sanct, it doesn't create anything good for the game. And if branded end up only having sanct banned, that's a huge win for them
