China became a name referring to a country during the Qing Dynasty. Before that, China was only regarded as a place name or cultural symbol.

Beautiful location and an enchanting landscape. It's fascinating how modern, up-to-date, and exquisitely designed everything in China is. To think ... there are still plenty of 'Bubbas' in the United States, who think that everything, in China, is cheaply made, or is a 'knock off.' 🤦‍♂

Cheaply made as that's what the foreign buyers want. It's those buyers that want to cut costs. What's never reported is that many manufacturers refuse such demands as they prefer to manufacture quality products.

Traditionally, Chinese love, respect, worship and always fascinated by the mountains and rivers. The phenolic Chinese word for river is "jiang 江" and that for mountain is "shan 山". When the two words are combined as "江山", the meaning is "kingdom".

With more than 50 ethnic groups, living in China, there is a lot to see & learn about the culture of different ethnic groups. As president Xi said “China is like a pomegranate. did you arrange all the site seeing and travel yourself or hire a guide to assist? I traveled 3 months in China last year. Had some guides. Had some places with Chinese friends. Coming back this year but mostly alone and wondering it I will manage it all on my own not speaking much chinese.
