Love the dramatic musical renditions used to explain W&B vs the TI. I completely understand.😆 As for that Bad Dad Joke, I'm not sure if that was the worst best or the best worst.🤔
Great shave and I enjoy your sence of humour. Love the razor it looks beautiful and well made. I have never tried Martin de Candre soap one for the wish list. Kind regards Gordon Christie
Great shave! Beaut of a razor! I have a ginger son as well. His beard is reminiscent of a Viking, well how they portrayed Vikings anyway. Have a great weekend.
Wow man thats a beauty. My grandfather was French(his parents, he was the first of his people born in the US) use to speak it to us a bit when we were kids.
@@Shave_n_Butcher No, I know a little Spanish and a bit of English... My grandfather said his family would always speak french when home and then one day when he was boy his dad said "no more french"
I just bought my first really expensive brush. I got a Muhle SilverTip Badger with a Stainless Steel Handle, if you seen it you would probably recognize it
That's a good looking razor and brush, a top soap, which you loaded the hell out of, but I've not problem with that and a funny joke to start with; in summary a top bloke with a reasonably large chopper and a belting shave. Have a good week mate 👍
Abe froman? The sausage King of Chicago?! 😅 I just got my first gold dollar from the stallion and I really wanted to get an intermediate or better quality razor and he recommended getting a TI and I fell in love with it as soon as I seen it and ordered one. I’m not sure what the dimensions are or anything but I’ll be posting pictures in the shave groups
Nice video, now a question: Theirs or Ralf Aust if you had to chose one....... I do have a TI but needs a good edge....the one it comes with + my stooping w "diamond" paste on balsa not good enough....
I always send even new razors to my honing guy. Aust or TI? A close call but I’ll have to say Ralf Aust. It is brilliant and actually came perfectly shave ready.
Just found and subscribed to your channel, what a excellent video! Iam a newbie straight shaver. I have 3 T.I's. Only on my 25th shave, using right and left hand but cursed with razor burn on second passes. Love your technique! How long did it take you to get that good ?
Thanks a lot Martin. Have been using a straight razor for maybe 6 years. I actually keep getting better! I would say after a yea of almost daily shaving I was happy about the technique. Welcome to the channel.
@@Shave_n_Butcher thank you for the time scale 😁 I've a long way to go then. Sadly I find my cheapest possible single blade disposable still shaves better. Dam you £1 a pack Tesco disposables.
Fancy pants shave mate! Like it a lot! Gorgeous razor! Is it T I that is rather hard to hone but when you get an edge on it, it stays sharp for ages? Cheers!
@@zenrazor659 Hi Zen, I use the nubatama stones in progression 1k (if they are in a really worn state - does not happen on Johans knifes) then I jump to nubatama platinum 3K, nubatama platinum 6k, nubatama bamboo 8k and then I jump to a Naniwa 12k. After that I use a japanese natural stone of some sort. It can be a nakayama asagi or a nakayama kiita och even a Ohira asagi, it depends on what I think will best fit the razor.
