Well he had to be. He knew if he wasn't the complaint was going to get officially filed with the city. Which would have been bad for him as a supervisor and even worse for his officer. Which is why he's kissing up to him and pretending he's concerned about his complaint when in reality he doesn't care.
But doesnt train his minions to respect taxpayers... fail... you dont fix it... you train employees first... .... training professionalism are taught day 1... you chiefly failed big time..
Agree, if it was an act, he could be a star. Seemed to really not like what was reported from his expressions. Hope he comes through and is true to his word with the reprimand and apology. This place was doing so well, up till Wooley. Just shows how one bad person with a tiny bit of power, can bring down the reputation of a whole city/department.
I agree. Wasn't it refreshing when the Chief asked LIA what would make him whole? That's a smart man that understands the human psyche. People want to feel like they are being HEARD!!! Listen and treat citizens with respect. Simple!!!
When opening your mouth goes wrong. Wooley was trying to flex in front of his buddy and it backfired. The Chief and Sargent seem to carry themselves with integrity, very refreshing to see that. Looking forward to the follow up.
Auditors get accused of being terrorists in every single video in the UK. After you guys had the terrorist attack, we not the terrorist act, which gave police the right to stop and search anyone they wanted, even without reasonable suspicion.
we have it too in the UK, some officers wear it with genuine respect, most do not though, to most it's a sign of solidarity between police officers. it originated with a british army regiment, there is no need for the flag to be blue and black, some auditors have made flags commemorating citizens who have died / been killed in police custody / "care" and offer them to the police as an alternative....
"The original 'Thin Red Line' refers to the routing of a Russian cavalry charge by the Sutherland Highlanders 93rd (Highland) Regiment during the Battle of Balaklava on 25 October 1854, during the Crimean War."
MUCH RESPECT to this chief... he did exactly what is needed by superiors Took down notes and a great response i hope they follow through with reprimand.
This was the chief's way of taking the complaint and keeping it in house. No reprimand will be given more like a verbal talking to without any consequences.
“Listen, Woolley, I sympathize with you, who needs radical commie punks like that coming through here, but I’ve already told you a few times to keep a lid on it, know what I mean, can’t have your loud mouth getting onto the 5 o’clock news and all this blow up in our face, m’kay? …”
Wow a chief that cares about the public and the behavior of his officers! I truly believe he will take some action probably just a conversation and that is great.
He cares about his officers. Which is why he took the complaint so it can be handled internally without any consequences. Instead of advising him to file a formal complaint with the city where there would have been disciplinary action taken.
@@napalmstickylikeglue it wouldn't matter if he filed a formal complaint, he really didn't violate anything. He is rude as hell and an asshole but that's not illegal.
@@napalmstickylikeglue He should care more about the public, his officers represent him and the officer needs to be taught that it is not about his ego but how the public has rights, whether he likes it or not. There seems to be such a disconnect and I agree that it may have something to do with the 'thin blue line' because it makes it seem as if it is them against the public and the public will lose. I have watch videos where someone has brought this up to several officers and they removed their blue line patch because they understood it was about respect for the public and really, we should all be on the same side.
Absolutely stunning how that was handled. Complete transparency honesty and sincerity. Bravo to the chief and the sergeant… Officer Wooley should be a janitor
I agree. Most of them think we are here for the bad interactions. While some of them are entertaining, the bad interactions mostly piss us off. I would much rather watch 100 videos of cops and govt officials acting with integrity and respecting the rights of the public, than 1 more video of another cop acting without integrity and violating someone’s rights.
This officer, is my twin brother. I have been watching audits for a long time now. The one thing that needs to be addressed more is the history of each and every officer with a history of complaints. This did not start with you, he has a history, and I am ashamed to say he always tried to get out of any responsibility for his actions, and most of the time it would work. I will try to follow up on you complaint. Thank you and all the work you do.
When the "Chief" allows his officers to wear a desecrated flag as part of their official uniform.... you know this complaint has fallen on def ears. He will need to keep following up on this to make any progress on this one.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THAT THE CHIEF INSTANTLY REACHED FOR HIS NOTEBOOK UPON SAYING THAT WOOLEY ASKED IF YOU WERE THERE TO "BLOW UP THE BUILDING" THAT IS PROFESSIONALISM AT ITS BEST ACCOUNT.
Yeah I noticed that too, that reaction speaks volumes about that chief ,he seems a good man . Also I think the reaction also indicates that this isn't the first time that filthy wooley had a complaint made against him
Very rarely do we see on these videos, senior officers acting so swiftly and professional. Big respect to this chief and sergeant . I hope every other department in America is watching.👍🏴
@Proudscot, I am afraid it won't help much if every other department in America would watch this video. The problem is not a lack of knowledge. The problem is that We The People allow people without empathy to hold positions where their decisions might have an effect on other people. With no empathy, they have no ability to evaluate themselves or care for others. So even if you told them, they simply would not care and they would not change. They only care about themselves. And most of their time and energy is focused on not being exposed and stigmatized as a non-empathic person. Some, typically psychopaths, sociopaths, narcissists borderline line, and other less known personality disorders are willing to go to great lengths to protect themselves. In many ways, as a result of a lack of empathy, they display a primitive reaction pattern, very much like an animal or a child; fight, flight, or freeze. Or a combination of those. Like the security guard, first, an attempt to fight, then run away and then freeze. On the other hand, you have empathic people, like their chief. He immediately used his empathy to try to understand where Sean was coming from and how he emotionally was compromised and had a genuine interest in 'making Sean whole'. I believe this knowledge I have presented here, is essential to heal the world right now. I would claim that every single problem in the world, comes from people not understanding or having this principle in their minds when evaluating daily experiences with others. Society would benefit greatly if it made this awareness a baseline for the social structure, in my opinion. We as individuals will also greatly benefit from practicing this on a daily basis, to gain an understanding of toxic people's behavior, so we can avoid getting manipulated and/or dominated. Do an experiment; go through the last days and check this knowledge up against your experiences. Or go wider; think about social problems or world problems. ;-) For those who have seen many of Seans' videos, try to notice the behavior of the people that do their jobs and those who don't. Also, try to notice how many of the people that display very little empathy actually do change at the end! Sean is doing a great job exposing the people not doing their job. Now it is up to us to analyze it and have discussions on how to improve the situation. I am afraid that expecting change simply because we tell them, will not suffice. I would propose relocating people without empathy to non-empathic jobs. Like production, or any other job where their decisions will not affect other people. In the old days, everyone knew this! And they locked crazy (non-empathic) people in, protecting the society. We don't do that anymore. Why? I would propose a more gentle solution; the right person for the right job! Do you care about people? Then you work for and with people! You don't care about others? Then you work with machines or storage, etc. I mean, we do it already in any other occupation! Pilots fly airplanes, doctors operate, and constructors build!
Best auditor hands down. As a United States Marine Corps veteran, thank you for calling out the desecration of the American flag, I love it man. Keep it up!
@@gorey4more837 Because it's a perversion of the American flag created during a time of civil unrest as a protest against the public's call for police to be held accountable for the police's use of excessive & lethal force against citizens who weren't a threat to them. If you've watched any of Sean's videos you'll know it's the cops who whine the loudest.
That Chief... From what we've seen of him, I have to say he is a prime example of professional standards within the police community. He seems quite sincere and on top of matters.
I liked the Chiefs "he said what?!" face when you told him about the bombing allegation. And then instant reach for the note pad, as a "this is serious" gesture. Hope for an update soon.
If the Chief gets the apology from the officer I feel like he's trying to run a good department. If he doesn't then it was all for show as he knew the auditor had a camera.
Sean is the best Auditor I’ve seen on RU-vid. Very respectful yet assertive and stands his ground when it comes to his (our) rights. Keep it up and keep these public servants accountable!!!!
The chief needs to train other chiefs across the nation! His core values are mind blowing! It was not a apology to shut you up. He meant it and listened to you. Let me investigate while its still fresh in everyones mind. The compassion and professionalism is amazing!!! Wished every video would turn out like this. As always you did great. Keep up the good work!
One word for this. BRILLIANT. What made this so special is any company can imploy a rouge and the fact that you found one and how was dealt made this special. if you had gone in there and had not fuss you would know nothing but yeah just a beautiful building. THIS WAS JUST Brilliant A+ for the building and all the officers who you spoke to higher up than the clown that was RUDE. Thanks for sharing Ray K. UK. YNWA.
Everyone is praising the chief, and that's ok. I think I'm gonna wait and see if he actually does something about it , or just sweeps it under the rug. Wooley , you made a real ass out of yourself. I look forward to a positive follow up.
The chief at least sat there, heard his side of the story, didn’t make excuses like others do, didn’t say well, I wasn’t there so I don’t know, and asked what LIA wants done. The sergeant was also great in his approach and didn’t attempt to make shit up and ask LIA whether he did this or that. But you’re right, I want to see the outcome of this matter. Officer Woolley needs to show more respect to citizens and not be so obtuse and dismissive.
Officer Wooly wanted to try to show his authority and run his pie hole. When you fired back and he realized you know what you’re doing and he couldn’t answer he had to call another man to make you go away.
Damn Sean, ya kinda screwed up at the end. Your whole case was about the officer basically stereotyping you. Then at the end, ya say "lets hope it isnt another, after investigating we find no wrong doing". Just cuz others have done that, dont assume there is a good chance this entity will. Ya know what im saying? But either way, it was completely out of hand and totally disrespectful what the officer said. Shout out to you for not standing for it.
@@jaseallenson316 The comment was hopefull in my opinion. Sean's going by the majority track record he's had to endure... He's had his rights trampled on a lot, even jailed. There are always a few exceptions in anything, I'd say that officer gets a slap on the wrist from the chief and probably a slap on the behind with an attaboy from his Sarge wearing the thin blue line mask. So I can't blame Sean for that comment at all due to his documented experiences in the past. It's opened up my eyes to a lot of things.
WOW!!!!!! For once the tyrant didn't get backed up by his gang members. The chief appeared genuinely concerned by his employees behaviour......this has restored my faith in humanity - really needed to see this. Well done Sean.....so much respect to you from Australia. Keep up your fantastic work.
Agreed! Great work Chief. I’d bet that moron gets suspended or fired. I wish LIA would of said he felt racially profiled for being of darker skin color and video taping. What a asshole thing to say. Some of these officers are such assholes. Total trash! I’d bet the Cop doesn’t walk on an air plane and say to the first Arab family he’s sees “you on the plane to blow it up?” Probably not because he’d get his ass handed to him. Thinks he’s hard because he has a badge and a gun. Hopefully all he has next week is a toy badge and plastic gun from his kids toy box. Moron!
Very true, now just hope he follows through on a reprimand to Wooley. The Sgt and Chief both acted professional while Wooley just wanted LIA removed. Guess he realized that truth hurts and his feelings didn't faze LIA.
@@MrMaximus1959 mmm I am so tired of all the race-baiting that is dividing this country it's the people versus the government eND of story and the people have definitely had enough
To the Chief : Thank You for setting aside your pride and ego. If only others could practice this same behavior, I believe they would have a lot better public relationships. It’s sad to say but, this is rare to find in most people. LIA, Thank You for keeping it positive and also for your sacrifice.
When I worked in customer service, several decades ago, “how can I make you whole again?” was the question I would always ask. I NEVER had a complaint against me or someone walk away unsatisfied even when I couldn’t give them exactly what they wanted. Being heard and then seeing someone advocate on your behalf goes a long way to making someone whole again. My father taught me that phrase, I taught it to my children and hopefully they will teach it to theirs.
Great job. I am very impressed with your strictness, your calmness when arguing, and your adherence to the truth and the law. Greetings from Saudi Arabia. Keep up the good work.🇺🇲🇺🇲

Unbelievably Incredibly professionally they handled the situation.. I actually commend this department and the chief.. His action speaks volumes to all the good law enforcement officers.
Holy crap, awesome chief! LIA, next time, even if you accept a different outcome, ask (someone like the cheif) what the FORMAL complaint process is. Fantastic comeback to his profiling you, profiling him right back.

WHAT WOOLEY SAID IS VERY DANGEROUS TO SEAN🤨 IF SOME OTHER DUMB OFFICER SEES SEAN AND THINKS HE'S ABOUT BLOWING UP BUILDINGS THEY COULD SHOOT AND KILL HIM THATS DEFAMATION OF CHARACTER...STAY SAFE SEAN🙏😍
This is what the media and journalism is supposed to be doing. Speak truth and law to power. Sad to see media cuddling up to power. Keep doing what you're doing, brother. Stay safe out there.
Great work again. The Sergeant & Chief seemed reasonable. However, we will see what the result of this Investigation is before making a final judgment. Respect 👍👍
If someone looks up the word Police Chief in the dictionary a picture of this Chief should show up as to what a real professional police Chief is. Restored my outlook towards policemen. Thank you LIA for finding him.
Dude, these videos take me back to my childhood in the east coast! Keep this going, man! Great job auditing and protecting what's good and what's truly right in the eyes of the U.S.!! God bless America!!
Wow, even the chief was blown away by that comment. Did you see how fast he grabbed his notepad to write it down the second he heard it?! I suspect this sh!t is going to roll down hill hard!
God Be the Glory. I've seen a lot of your videos this is the first time I've seen a director and assistant took a proper approach offering a quick response.
I found it laudable that the sergeant offered to take you directly to meet with the chief. This isn't done unless by design and that's rare in this day and age where many evade contact with the public.
I disagree on the desecration aspect. The rules pertains to modifying a flag not creating a new one. For example if you turn a flag into a pari of shorts its desecration, If you make a pari of shorts that are flag themed, It isn’t.
Thank you Chief for your very professional approach in this matter! You and the Sgt. are a shining example as to how LEOs should act. Thank you chief and Sgt for your service!
I love the way you maintain your composure and tone of voice at all times. It's beautiful because they can never say you're causing a disturbance. Love your videos 👍👍
I shouldn't be so stunned that a Chief and Sgt. do their jobs so admirably, so I'll just say excellent work by them and of course yourself LIA. Keep up the great content and education!
Lol, “are you plotting to bomb us”. Like you would have said yes if you actually were. That cop just opened a can of worms he wasn’t ready for and he shouldn’t have engaged in dialog. I’m happy your making your way to PA and I work right next to Bucks County btw.
"That's up to you". Meaning "I don't want you to give me definitive evidence that ties my hands to the point I have to go through official channels and reprimand this officer". As soon as that video is sent to him for a complaint, it becomes evidence in that complaint. Which is also why he said that he's taking you at your word and going to take action even though there will not be action taken on his part. What he should have said was "absolutely, I would like to see for myself what happened and I will take action based on that"
You're right about that. I noticed it too. He did not want evidence in his hands against one of his own. But, that could be for at least a couple of reasons. Maybe, to protect his officer's bad behavior to keep this power available to them or because the chief might be a good man and wanting to deal with the officer in a way that would involve the courts. I know either is wrong but, this is a whole lot better than others. It's not where things ought to be. Then again, any improvement is still an improvement. I appreciate Seanpaul & other auditors for getting all of us this far.
i agree, should always go through the official channels. even though this one isnt that bad, no hands on or threats or anything.. very poor choice of a "joke" to make which is what i actually think it may have been given his complete lack of action and casual nature and disregard about it.
@@milolomi9600 wow, we always want the police to be open and take complaints and here we get exactly what we expect and ppl like you find ways to pick it apart, i think the reason he worded it that way was to let lia know he wasnt requiring him to give it but if he was willing he would accept it,look at it and make a decision using that and what the officer said to make a conclusion
Many thanks to this chief and the sgt. For conducting thsmselves so professionally. Shame on wooley what a horrible thing to say to an American citizen.
I am super impressed with this county and their professional manner compared to so many fails... This county needs to be example to others. Mr Chris daily is what hero leadership is all about .. he listened he wanted to collect all facts and resolve issues, just an amazing leader in the trenches of civil government... Good Job! You could tell the Director was pissed off about Wooley. He straightened up in his chair immediately. One tyrant at a time Sean. You handle yourself so professionally and stay calm when idiots do not do their jobs correctly. I do admire that. Keep up the great work. You are much appreciated. 👊✌
You did as always a very professional job, totally respectful to everyone you come into contact with. I've watched a lot of different auditors in which some do quite a good job and there's a fee who don't. You do an amazing job love watching your video's. It's all about our constitutional rights. Thankyou 👍😊❤
Wow, super impressed with the response from the Sgt and the Chief!! Enormous kudos to them for doing the right thing. THIS is exactly what I want to see from all law enforcement departments in this country. They are a shining example!! I left a message on Chief Daley's voicemail telling him how impressed I am. I wish we had a number to let their administration know how fabulous they handled this!! It gives me hope that there are still people out there doing the right thing! There will always be someone who does the wrong thing. What's important is the response. I don't expect law enforcement to be perfect, but I do expect them to respond and do the right thing. Most often we see that they immediately back their "brother". Although the Sgt's initial response was to support his fellow officer he listened to you and HEARD you, and then he not only gave you Wooley's name but offered to take you to his superior. This is a department that tries to do it correctly, which is more than I can say for far too many law enforcement departments.
What that officer said was not only unprofessional, it could have a direct affect on your safety and your business. Cops talk. Him saying that, inferring you are a terrorist or 'crazy person', may lead other officers who hear about it to assume he is correct to various degree's and that could affect their attitude and perception of you. This could easily result in another officer 'trailing you', watching you constantly, trying to find a reason to kick you out or detain you in order to obtain some sort of arrest or something. .. As for the building staff themselves...pretty impressive, tbh! :) Courteous, professional, calm and took your complain seriously. All but "Wooley". That's the bad apple. If I was that chief, Wooley would be reprimanded and put on "review". Any more of these sort of things and I'd fire his ass.
Exactly. How many videos have we seen where cops have come up saying they got a report that an auditor was violent or threatening, and of course they take it as gospel without investigating for themselves
Very good analogy. Being described during gossip as a possible threat inaccurately to another LEO does initiate BOLOs without basis. Works against family members quite easily and effectively as well.
@@Babomomebeo It's the "trained brainwashing". .. Cops are trained and told "If someone calls us, they are in need of help. That's your job. Help them. No matter how angry they are, or how distraught, or how crazy it sounds...you need to believe them because THEY believe it. We are here to help THEM." .. Then, in the morning briefings, they are told: "Remember, when you are dealing with someone on the street, you don't know who they are. You have no idea if they are mentally unstable or if they are actual terrorists or people who hate cops and want to see YOU DEAD! So when you are dealing with someone you got called out to check out, assume they are dangerous and want to hurt you. They will lie and try to get you to let your guard down, then attack. So don't give them the chance! YOU control the situation...if you feel uncomfortable, put them in cuffs and ID them, because a little inconvenience to them versus your life is no question. YOU need to come home safe to your family! Always remember, you don't know who you are dealing with, so assume they want to kill you". .. And you get this Cop: "Yes ma'am. We hear you. We'll check it out right now" ...and... Cop: "I don't know you. You could be a psycho. Put your hands up and give me your id. I'm going to put you in cuffs for my safety and yours. Don't move or I'll shoot you" .. 100% believe everything ...vs... 100% believe nothing.
I like that Chief, very respectful & concerned. Took you seriously & at your word. The Sgt was very personable and accommodating, also. The whole audit, minus Officer Wooley bad behavior, was a definite pass & refreshing!
Can someone give that Chief an award and a salute! This is how a Chief should lead his team! If this guy ain't promoted or rewarded, no one will! Top man!!!
What do you think that Sergeant decided to take him to his boss instead of letting him file an official complaint through the city? If so they can keep it in house and sweep it under the rug without consequences.
@@napalmstickylikeglue as you clearly saw in the film the boss took one side of the story and will get the other side of the story. Cops doesn’t punish cops otherwise we would not have ramped corruption. We shall see what the outcome is. Hopefully I am proved wrong.
