The Cheron and the Yuuzhan Vong would be awesome to see on the big or small screens. But I strongly suspect that Disney won't allow them to be explored. Because it would involve exploring concepts they wouldn't like. Which means we as fans are out of luck.
Luke had some very interesting and horrifying experiences during his lifetime. I thought Abeloth was the scariest thing he ever faced; I was very wrong. I'm honestly kind of surprised he didn't lose his mind.
@@Myke_thehuman it would be connected to the narrative of Ezra, Ahsoka, and Thrawn. It will almost definitely receive a mention if not being a central point in the show.
I got the feeling that the anti force wasn’t evil, just a different set of powers that would mess with the force if in close proximity. What if Han and Lando’s luck in our universe is just a manifestation of the anti force. What if they went to the other space and found out they had anti force powers there as strong as Luke’s force powers in normal space?
Yes, I'm extremely interested in the discoveries of Other space, the Anti Force as well as countless others. Also, I definitely want to see the Unknown Regions of Space and Other Space in live action, but knowing Disney, they're either going to screw it up or just not make it happen.
In the most recent issue of Doctor Aphra (issue 34) they face a Starweird and it was pretty wild. I'd like to see them explore unknown space gradually over time
It makes sense that an open wound in the force especially through a radical event like a death of many beings at once could act like a connection to Otherspace. Like a membrane that has been pierced. Through this connection anti force could come in and thus it would be much easier to connect to it as there is "silence" at the point of the wound so no force flow at all to annihilate the anti force directly. This reminds me of Darth Nihilus and with this in mind he may have also been connected to the "Dark" as he was a wound in the force and his sole purpose was to destroy all life and feed on it.
I don't think we will ever see something like this in canon again, since Disney has shown again and again they don't care about Star Wars fans they just want to reach the most people possible, so they probably won't ever go into deep lore like that. But to be honest, this might be for the best since i don't believe they could pull it off anyway.
The real question is, Would there be an other side of the anti-Force like the Dark Side of the Force, and how would it work? Would it be like the Light Side? Are there any who tap into it if so? So many questions it would be cool to explore….
The dynamic between the light and dark side of the force, and the anti-force, sort of sounds pretty identical to the One Power and the True Power in Wheel of Time.
They are only strange because they were isolated from the rest of the galactic community but given the chance to assimilate they would be considered normal.
What if the anti-Force and other space is something the father of shadows made? Because it’s the opposite of what The normal universe is which was made by the supreme maker?
Other space the anti-force and the other beings in this parallel hellish universe would’ve made a much better sequel trilogy if they made a TV show that would kill in the ratings
Ironicly, a parallel universe that warships death would bring so much more life to the Star wars lore (lol, no longer just the galaxy). And it could inspire fans with either art or just fantasies for years to come
In an ideal world Legends should get its own sponsored spin-off. With talented writers and worldbuilders. Maybe make some of it 16+ kind of like how Vertigo is for DC. Though alot of the creatures are more scary in theory than through CGI. Like the Sorcerers of Rand. It's hard to make abstract horrors like that and Abeloth on screen.
On other forces similar to The Force:: There *ARE* multiple energy forces. Look up the Kathol Rift. Its extinct inhabitants inadvertently created their own, smaller, Force accessed differently than the normal Force.
i wanna hear first accounts from unknown regions. This could easily be done a long lost star ship drifts into populated space all crew could be dead also which gives a huge time frame of how long the ship could have been there, recordings from the ship would serve fine as a story especially if we got hologram replays of the events with audio
The anti-force would be entirely dependent on the force though, like a parasite. You can't have death without life happening first, which means if they ever delete their counterpart, they die too, making it an offshoot of the force, not an opposing entity.
If I lived in the Star Wars galaxy, I would stay far away from the unknown regions. Just leave me to study Naboo wildlife😅. The cheron (correct my spelling if I’m wrong) are interesting, though.
That’s one thing that I would love to see in film; hopefully kk and Disney won’t destroy it. There’s so much material in canon to choose from and they came up with episodes 8&9. Why? They might have effectively destroyed the franchise.
While I would not like to see another galaxy, I would like to see a trip into unknown space. Something like Project: Outbound Flight would be cool because it shows much more of the galaxy. Another galaxy however, maybe not. Only because The Force might not be present in this new galaxy, although the more that I think about it, it would be interesting to see something where a force user has the force taking away somehow, maybe by getting trapped on a planet stripped bare of life and force energy.
I think I understand the case of Nihilus better now... Can it be true that what happened to him caused him somehow to be able to use anti-force while everyone else thought it was the power of the dark side, and that's why no one has a real explanation of who or what he actually is.. Think about it, the hunger and the idea that once he was done consuming the Jedi, he would do it to the Sith too, eventually over time if not stopped he would and all life in the galaxy maybe the universe.. That sounds like the anti-force lol even the sith needed life to accomplish their ends.. right?
Offer death for life and power, sacrifices, creatures of unknown and horrific shapes and design. Lets just add some cults too and we can Lovecraft Star Wars
A whole other universe, and a terrifying one at that. The unknown regions were bad enough with their Star Weirds and giant creatures that can swallow your ship with the ease of which we swallow a grain of rice (forgot the name). Now we have the Cheron and the Anti-Force to worry about.
This is extremely interesting. And twisted. Unknown Regions are pretty strange. And Other Space. I hope Luke and others will stopped them. I agree. They are huge threat. For life and all in general. Would be awesome to see this in live action. Or movie. We will be vary. May the Force be with you too :)
These guys need Abeloth, just imagine Luke and Ben Skywalker finding a way to contact Abeloth and making a deal with her just to fight this new threat, try to tell me that wouldn’t be insane
I always wondered what it'd take for the jedi and the Sith to actually put their wars aside and fight together, and this is a good example. What if Yoda and Sidious had to team up against some Uber powerful threat like this? Would be kickass lol
Sooo, I can not be the only one that thinks the anti force and the force is like matter vs anti matter??? When the two combine boom? An as in the theory matter aka the force would come out ahead? Which would lead to a new form of force left behind?
Anti-force, Other-Space, beings from different dimensions?! I like the simplicity of the Star Wars galaxy, the force, the light, the dark, the neutral. All of that other convoluted nonsense can stay in the realm of legends as far as I'm concerned.
Why? Too much to handle? I mean no offense by this course. But I thought it was rather interesting. Yes, it’s a separate galaxy. But in the same universe, which makes it I think more expansive. perhaps certain Darkside abilities were manifestations of the anti-force.
@@konnorrose3652 Well like I said I like the simplicity. I just see this as creators trying to add more to the world and lore but I find it starts sounding more and more ridiculous in which case they're not adding anything of interest to me. I guess I just have the 'if it ain't broke don't fix it' attitude here, Star Wars is just fine without all this stuff thrown into the mix. If it works for others then fine, whatever, enjoy, but it's still not for me.
I have a question! Since Vader and Kylo stops blaster shots, which what I understand is a darkside ability. Is there any lightside ability equivalent to that? Like what I thought, blaster guidance.. Instead of stopping it, just guide it away.
Not a big fan of “anti-force” but.. Take a few concepts and blend them for a new antagonist A highly force sensitive but neutral group of like 13 creatures that come from a deep space never explored and riddled with destructive black holes. They are hostile towards all life including their own and when one is finally going to die, they rip a cord from their chest opening a black hole right there
In the unpublished novel called "Supernatural Encounters" it is revealed that in the exceedingly ancient days of the galaxy, there was war between living + metaphysical gods (good and evil), literal demons, massive cosmic monstrosities, countless eldritch abominations, and the inhabitants of the galaxy trying to just survive. Only with the aid of Celestial knowledge did those who lived for good in the galaxy beat back, destroy, and banish the great evils of the forgotten past...
Fun fact: there are multiple Otherspaces, different pocket and mirror dimensions, this vid only covers one of the larger ones. Also, the Charon were originally from the regular galaxy, the ones from Otherspace are the descendants of explorers that got trapped there.
Here's what bugs me about concepts like the Dark/Anti-Force, the Anti-God from John Carpenter's Prince Of Darkness, and the Great Darkness from DC Comics. So basically, the positive or neutral forces of creation are kind of depicted as semi-passive bro-dudes, live and let live, it is what it is, oh you foolish mortals go do your thing and don't bug us. Another one of your own videos showed the Dark Side of The Force has a practical side, as in 'If you kill whole worlds, you have no one and nothing to rule over'. But then we get to these things, these entities that never knew light or thriving life, and in fact are dead set on exterminating all like a Dalek parody turned to eleventy. They cannot be destroyed, since they are the equals of the creator-entities, only sealed away and never spoke of again, by good or bad. They are super-acquisitive and rapacious, and they simply do not care about anything we associate with the basic goals of good or evil. So here's the problems: there have always been foolish mortals, yet it is only in the heroes' present that these things are unleashed. Creation, whether it is light/dark or just neutral, is semi-passive, only acting in defense of its prerogatives and overall survival of life. So we have these barely-sealed raptor-types always poking for escape and utterly unstoppable once out and attacking without let against a chill creation, and the question arises - why haven't they already won? Represented as the utter final end if they are ever so much as brushed against, why aren't the doors long past down? I think that the understandable quest of some writers to have a really really nasty as all get out Big Evil leaves them with an antagonist with only one outcome - closing their seal again. While terrifying, they also end up as a boring concept, since their nature demands they simply move forward with no blocks, yet blocked they must be for the story to keep on.
Star wars IS TRUE!!!! its disgusting really not just stories!!!! Because this "anti-force" has come to be in the form of kathleen Kennedy and she has oozed through the starwars universe and truely and completely destroyed it!!!! So I'm positive now when I say "ITS ALL TRUE!!!"
