I pretty much had similar views. But since they are moving to proof of stake concept which will definitely lower the power consumption to about 5-15W per validator. Crypto for local transaction is too slow, however pretty fast (5-7min)for international transfers which still take a day or two. May reinvest again if the claims hold true after the switch to staking. overall well put view👍
The issue with staking that i have is still the fact that you have to valudate it with all the miners and take a percentage mostly above 50. So if stake takes 1w considering thousands of miners it will easily take above 1kw for no reason
