Amazing game! Scan's counter-attacks have been awesome this series, but Soma's decision-making was sharp. While the graphics aren't for me, this as a thing you mix in is great - and it seems like some other folks quite like it. My main preference with it would be keeping all of your other casting normal with it (i.e., no stream stuff/chat) to keep the visual overload down. The skin can be quite an adjustment, so the format you used is a good fit for it.
Skin still just as good as it was last cast! I hope next game is a macro game, I'm excited to see Ultras, Defilers, Hive, Science Vessels, Battlecruisers, and everything else!
Yeah I love how it looks, very cute and funny, but it makes me play less serious so I suck even more when I play it because I feel I'm in a peaceful wonderland lol
man what a great game. Imagine is scan clicked on the spawning pool immediately after the spire goes down. I think he would be able to stabilize then. GG
I hate to be rude, but I was sort of annoyed that scan didn't build a single bunker despite it saving his ass last game, he panic built a ton of turrets. Not a single bunker...
Hey, Artosis, I think that these graphics are a great gimmick for a weekly/monthly special episode, but I don't think it's the best option long term - they suffer from lack of clarity; especially when it comes to corpses . Cheers
Great game... I think BIG mistake from Scan to not move strait in and snipe the spawning pool once the spire fell. The skill was amazing to watch, though.
Are scan and soma playing on carbot graphics or are you just spectating with carbot graphics? Either way it’s a neat change of pace. At the very least you should do a carbot series with a Protoss in the futue so we can see some of their units as well!
Absolutely loving these games between Scan and Soma. The carbot animation is fun for sure, don't mind seeing it every now and again to keep things fresh. But I definitely prefer the original look of starcraft
Wouldn't it've been better to focus down the pool and stop king production than trying to kill the much higher health Lair which only delays Muta tech?
I think tastosis is also hurt by the fact that they have to cast digitally and aren’t physically in the same room But i Also feel like tasteless has kind of lost some of his edge
@@dj_koen1265 I agree on both points. Tasteless seems to get too caught up with explanations and feels like that's more important than exciting play by play calls. So he ends up making moments dull when they should be dramatic. It's not every time but it happens often enough that I've thought about it.
Wow a small mistake turns this game on its head. once again the carbots graphics are fun on occassion. Still fresh and cute but could definitely see how they become wearing. Maybe 1 series in 20 are carbotty and definitely for more one off fun series.
Not a fan of the cartoon graphics, they are too bright and make it harder to identify the units/buildings on screen. Any other caster can change the graphics to be cartooned, what makes your casting valuable to watch is your detailed analysis. Keep discussing more about the matchup, the individual players, the map layouts, and etc. especially when there is not much action yet happening on screen.
