Things I’ve learned from my garden…. You can’t plant seeds and expect to harvest the next day. You have to have patience You have to tend to your garden daily. You have to learn to adapt for the best harvest. More water, less water, too much sun, not enough sun, good pests, bad pests, etc. Be open to trying something new, but don’t expect perfection with the first trial. Carrots and spinach didn’t make it. 😕 But looks like we’ll have beets and brussel sprouts!! We’ve also harvested broccoli…I’ve never planted or grown any of these before. So the point is….give it a try because you just never know. Don’t quit - when I first started my garden, the grasshoppers were rampant and went through everything so I sprayed to eliminate the grasshoppers and burned all the plants. I didn’t think anything was gonna come back here. Here we are 3 1/2 months later. #gardening #dowhatyoulove #itsnotperfect #imlearning #workinprogress #lifelessons
