In today's vlog we head to Walt Disney World's Animal Kingdom to see if we can find some things we've never noticed before around the park! We only made it about half way through the park so we'll for sure be making a part 2 of this video! Let us know if that's something you'd like to see in the comments down below! We also take a stroll on the Tree of Life garden trail, we take a closer look at the Tree of Life animal carvings and sculptures. There are over 320 animals carved into the tree and I feel like we could spend a whole week looking for them and not see them all. It was like a scavenger hunt! This is something that I don't do on a normal day at the park so it was nice to take time and soak in the magic of Animal Kingdom. I definitely recommend doing this on your next park visit if you haven't already. Then we take a look at the different murals and theming around the park. There's so much detail! It's amazing! I took my family to DAK Grand Opening day back in 1997, we were also amazed then as we still are now (with the tree of life). Its hard to believe DAK has been open over 20 years now, am I really THAT old??!! I can still remember how good the Rotisserie Chicken was at Tusker House too, sadly I don't think they serve it any more..

The Pocahontas canoes would be cool on the rivers.

They used to have a boat ride in those rivers. It only ran for a few months though. The sun beat down on the rivers and the foliage would trap that heat at the water level, making it too uncomfortable to ride. You still see the boats out every once in a while, but the river itself is mostly decorative these days.

One of the awesome benefits of living in Florida...You can go to the parks and just relax and notice all of those cool little things that are missed when you're just there on vacation and on a time constraint. So thank you Tim for sharing all of those little and not so little "hidden" things. What a great service you have given allowing people who would ordinarily feel rushed during their visit to the Animal Kingdom, or any Disney kingdom to see details that would otherwise have missed. What a blessing it must be to live in Orlando and equipped with a season ticket casually enjoy all Disney World has to offer. Thanks for sharing. Of course, we pray for the end of the epidemic and return to normal operation of the parks, but also, the huge crowds would also return and the hectic pace most guests experience.

Thanks, Tim, for these casual trips to the parks. Even as annual pass holders, my husband and kids liked to get to the rides. I always missed taking my time and just enjoying the park. These details are what make Disney so special.

Just wanted to thank you for a delightful video! It was actually so soothing to see green, lush foliage and footage of the animals. I am constantly blown away by the detailed theming in Animal Kingdom and would love for walks like these to become a regular series, especially during these pandemic times when the crowds are minimal. I'm always rushing through the parks to get on attractions, and it's so great to see vids like this where there is no hurry, just enjoyment.

My bf and I went last year, and there wasn’t anyone there in the early morning. So I was able to take a peaceful morning walk in and out through the Tree of Life. While also getting to see all the animals being fed their breakfast. One of my new favorite experiences.

Not too sure who needs to hear this but Caring for the Giants Tour at AK is a hidden gem! My wife and I did the tour in February-it was just us two and another couple. So informative and you get to see some behind the scenes. It’s not every day you can say you held elephant poop!

Our very first visit to the Animal Kingdom was our last Disney vacation in 2018. We spent the entire first day just exploring the trails and all the details. I'd always been an EPCOT lover, but Animal Kingdom became my favorite Disney Park after that day, and we barely rode any rides! Thanks for posting this--it brought back wonderful memories. :)

23:19 i love how the theming of this area has a bootleg mickey painting like you would see in a random village somewhere. Yet in reality its a real authentic mickey because its in a disney park.

Thank-you for this video! I love going on the trails, and I found out pre-pandemic, the park opened almost an hour early, but Pandora and Harambe were blocked off, but you could go on the trails. It was so nice to see the trails early in the morning. The birds at the end made me cry. I miss Disney so much and was supposed to be there last week until today, but we cancelled even though we knew Disney would be probably the safest public place we could be in during this time.
