Your professional degree in anatomy serves you well as an artist! You turn a chuck of wood into a sculpture with expression!! Charles Schultz turned a line drawing into a character with emotions. ❤
Fantastic follow up to part 1 Tay! So beautifully edited, seamless, very very enjoyable! The carvings were just AMAZING as only you can do them. What a lineup all done in two days. The bears are always a TayMarie trade mark, but I must say the little girl pig may just be one of your new trade mark carvings Tay. What not to love, this vlog was excellent!!! Bravo 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💛
Great work Tay. Really enjoyed. Happy Belated Mothers Day to Nami’s Mom! 😀. Really liked all these carvings. Wish I was closer to be the drive thru shopper at your place. The bear with the heart reminded me of Yogi. Sweat Pea, kinda reminded me of a Star Wars or other sci-fi creature like baby Yoda or something. Lol. And I paused at the shed for a sneak peak, but couldn’t figure that one out. Lol. Something crawling like a turtle, armadillo, crocodile? Lol trying to be funny. Good job ! Thumbs up everyone! 👍👍👍👍
Hahaha! Omg you are so right about Sweet Pea 😂 He is a pink yoda lol! I’m not gonna tell you what was in the shed but it’s much bigger then an armadillo 😂 That made me laugh haha! Thank you 😊
Hopefully someone orders that some day 😍 I have a super cute one coming up, haven’t started it yet but it’s up next after the big carving I have been working on!
Sometimes you have to adapt which you did well. Several years ago I watched a video where someone set up 8 to10 logs and made a single cut on each one, then made the second cut on each one and so forth. In the end he had 8 or so bears that all looked close to the same. For me, I don't have the experience to do that. If I screw up on cut two, they're all screwed up lol. Your bears aren't all the same which I like better. Each one has it's own character. In my opinion, If you have a customer looking at your bears, they're more likely to buy one if they are all a little different. Less likely if they are all identical. I think you're doing a great job, keep it up.
I love that little grizzly. Can you do a step by step tutorial on how to carve him by any chance? That would be awesome. You are a fantastic carver. so realistic carvings.
as a carver i see on the dime tip ,it's too tight i personally run my carving bars with about the same gap of the chain hanging almost 1.5 inches below the bar. i also have found that the electric saws aren't all that or at least to me. you do great work, i like your videos. 2nd Life carving
I run my chain just loose enough that the bar stays cool, any looser is unnecessary and can wear and widen the track. I like my drive links to hang about a 1/4” below the bar. I check the bar with each gas up and will adjust if needed. We all have different methods to the madness 😂 I started with all electric and they work great, but I tend to always grab my gas saws. There is something special about having play in the throttle! Mostly use electric these days for when I need to be inside or when I have delicate details and want more control without any saw vibration. I think they have their place but again, I always grab my gas saws when given the choice 😉
I don’t have any cut by cuts yet! I was planning on using this winter to hide in my shack and make lots of little tutorials and whatnot…but ended up over booking myself and had back to back orders through the whole winter. Still trying to catch up! When time allows I do hope to get some cut by cut or tutorials done 🫶🏼
Hello there my name is Arthur hemstreet and I was wondering if you could make a eagle 🦅 or a wolf 🐺 or a owl 🦉 and how much do you charge for the carvings
I just checked out your channel, I have definitely seen your work! You got some crazy talent man! I saw you had a video on the rendezvous, I was there too, also as a visitor! I will definitely be carving there next year too! We drove all the way from Maine! If I was closer I would love to do a collaboration, but you are definitely 14+ hours from me 🙃
@@TayMarie23 Thank you Dear. You're crazy talented yourself! See you at the Rendezvous next year! Hopefully well both be carving! Keep up the amazing work carver!
