Things Only Women Who Wear Hijabs Understand 

Buys a pack of hundred pins. A week later, "where did it all go?". They always seem to disappear on the wrong time. Like whenever i dont need them, i end up finding a bunch. Smh

One more.... When you have a plenty of hijabs, but you only wear the old black one

You missed one thing- when you don't realise that your hair is being seen from behind through the scarf which is soo awkward.

I have a classmate at school who wears a Hijab and one time she caught me staring at her. I had to explain to her that I was staring because I love Hijabs and the beautiful colours hers had that day. From that moment and then we became best buddies! 😂 Worth it!

i've started carrying a scarf with me at all times because one day on th subway a lady got her hijab yanked off, and i used my scarf to help her out

once I started college I meet a lot of girls who wear them. I swear I ever knew they wore pins with them. I thought it was a special technique. Anyways, I sat down and I started rubbling my shoulder. My friend asked me what's wrong and I said I think a bug bit me. she laugh and she was like oh I think my pin prick you when you hug me. lol I learned the hard way. 😅

I remember when I was in high school. I'm talking about in 2003 lol. Beautiful girl wear hijab. Couple of weeks later she stop wearing. Lmao she was start wearing all makeup dress up tight cloths. God her father caught her. Send her back to her country. I wonder how she must be now..

You're safe to take it off here" etc etc are just some of the comments that I can remember at the top of my head, that I've gotten over the years 🤦🏾‍♀️ and when makeup gets on your hijab (especially you're favourite hijab) omg 💔💔+ that bag wrestle is very real!!

My friend and I were on a roller coaster once and there was an arab girl (teenage) and during a loop-the-loop, hijab flew off her head and my friend literally caught it in midair and screamed "I GOT IT!" (In arabic) and he returned it while not facing her out of respect. Truly a great guy right there.

Nobody mentions the one problem I always have. The carefully pinned scarf slipping over my head until it's halfway off my scalp, showing the messy top of my head.

"I'm Christian, but I think hijabs are beautiful!" That comment make me want to show my hijabs. Sometimes I want to go outside with flowwy dress or shorts. I think they look so beautiful. And my country is tropical, it's so hot!! But I never doing that except when I was younger. Maybe I will wearing hijab with big proud smile for being a muslim:)

Although I know that the hate comments are inevitable, as a young hijabi seeing videos like this on the internet is awesome because I finally get to see people who look like me and understand my struggles online 😊.

I wear with pride... Some of those problems never occured to me though.. The earphone problem, you can actually pause the whatever you were listening instead of struggling to take them out and then to put it back again. And also, there are many ways of hijab wearing that wont give you any of these difficulties ⚘

There is no compulsion in Islam. NO ONE is allowed to force a woman to wear a hijab. A woman does so out of love for God and respect for her religion. And to those fabricated claims made my non Muslims who say "men can touch a woman if she takes off her hijab", here's a hadith for you - "(To men) it is better for you to have a nail driven in your head than to touch a woman that is not permissable for you." Men are INSTRUCTED to NOT touch ANY woman and if they do so, they face the wrath of punishment.

As a vieling pagan I feel some of these but also face other ones. I’m a cashier and I feel so bad when a muslim come up and says Those nice phrases from their religion like Allah is with you in Arabic and I don’t understand what it means. I connected very good to a Islamic woman and her daughter through a encounter like that tho she was happy (we live in a very Christian dominated area) and I ended up saying I’m pagan not Muslim and I can’t speak Arabic, she got embarrassed at first but when I laughed it off and was asking her about Ramadan last year we connected and talk about our scarves and I ask her and her daughter about their holidays and school and how they are feeling during the pandemic and making sure they are happy and healthy + they do the same for me and the daughter is almost ready to start her hijabi journey and wants to show me what it’ll look like oh I’m so happy for her!!

I'm not religious in any way, but I do find hijabs beautiful. Don't let anybody tell you what to wear, girls, you rock!

I'm a Muslim. People in my school wear scarfs. I wonder "how do they have the courage?" "How do they still look pretty?" "How can they be bold enough to have the confidence and not care what other people think?" I don't wear scarfs because I'm afraid that people will judge me and make fun of me. I look in the mirror for hours and cry because I'm not pretty like other girls. But now, I feel like I shouldn't care what other people think. People Wear scarfs too, why shouldn't I? I have a bit of self-esteem and the slightest bit of confidence, that I look good in anything. I just.....don't know anymore.....

I don't "hate" the hijab but I get weird responses when I criticize it. A common answer I get is women who say "oh okay , so we should walk around naked? " And then I'm completely lost. I don't understand why a non-hijabi equals being naked. This is seriously an answer I often get. So I guess some hijabi women aren't nice for a dialogue with me about it.
