Tears of the Kingdom is the smash hit sequel to one of the best games ever made, The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild and while you would expect sequels to build upon the first game, that isn’t always the case. Today I’d like to focus on the things Tears of the Kingdom did better than Breath of the Wild, plus I’ve got other Zelda Creators along to give you their opinions and thoughts on the topic too.

It's great to see TotK being appraised. Some Zelda youtubers are so negative about the game (just because Nintendo didn't watch their theory videos). I love TotK so much and I'm still playing daily to this day.

Honestly I wish we got a TOTK Sequel to where Link And Zelda go back in time 100 years to stop Ganondorf before he destroyed everything And so we can Free Roam what Hyrule was 100 years ago (who likes that Idea)

That construct you just fought in this video, was the last construct, I had to located and defeat for the medal. I liked the low gravity sections in the Sky, Boss fights felt better because, it wasn't the same looking and similar fighting patterns like the last game.

After playing Tears, I decided to replay Breath on Master Mode and beat it and reexplore that game throughly. I still appreciate Breath. And as I played Tears again after that, it still is the superior game. But, Breath is still great and has its uniqueness. Thanks for a new positive review for Tears.

I'm currently replaying BOTW and honestly the biggest improvement from TOTK is honestly Fuse. Combat feels a lot more shallow because you don't have the guarantee of each encounter giving you cool weapons. Keese and Chuchus are so valuable in TOTK where in BOTW they're more annoying than anything else.

I mean, I don’t think there was a single thing botw really did better than Totk at least nothing that immediately comes to mind. Maybe a better story? I also wasn’t really a fan of weapon fusing and liked just base weapons more, but that’s probably just my personal preference.
