Hey girl! Honestly its a lot of running and waiting around tbh! I was extremely nervous when I got to tech because I initially didn't want to get the job but I couldn't get fire protection due to eyesight. I wanted something more physical so I got SF. They teach you everything you need to know and the course is set up for you to pass. Just remember, there was a lot of people who went before you and passed! The days where it was hot and the sun was beating on my body and all I wanted to do was go home I had to remember that someone else did it before me and to not give up on my teammates when I gave up on myself in the moment. Its not easy, but you can definitely do it! Are you at the school house now?

Hi Amber I’m from New York, I recently enlisted to the AF because they focus more on education than other branches, meaning you get college credits from tech school and it’s a great opportunity. I’ve always been talking about joining and hope to ship out late August. Your channel has really helped me please make more videos on security forces tech school it's going to be my job too. Do you prefer the issued boots or the nike ones you said they give you blisters? I was thinking about buying the nike ones and bringing them to bmt.
The issues boots will be fine for BMT for the most part but the Nike ones are a b**** to break into. I had blisters for two weeks and that was only going to classes and not the more physical stuff we have to do during tech school. I’m actually going to be doing a review on the Nike boots so stay tuned for that video! ❤️ thanks for watching!

Hi! I recently discovered your RU-vid and I love how informative your videos are! I’m originally from Oahu but currently reside in OR. I am joining the military because I honestly wanted to stray away from the typical island life of living with my family until I got older. I wanted to become better and make myself better so I can one day afford to go back to the islands and be able to support myself and a family. I leave to basic in July and I am very excited and thankful for this opportunity. I have a few videos on my channel as well if you are interested in my story and how I got to where I got to. I like to watch these videos in preparation for basic. As I am an older recruit, I know I have to work a little harder than the rest. So good equipment and being prepared will help me with that. I was looking for information on joining during covid and had some recent interaction with you because I thought it was funny you said 24 yo’s were “older” being that I’m 35 and studying for the asvab to join lol.
