How about this, you set up a Tank in the back of a military truck, and have the truck inside the tunnel, and have the train hit the tank into the truck and have that glitch happen where it shoots it into the sky, and see what happens.
How man will travel to the moon next: Put dumpsters in the shape of a ramp in front of a tunnel, put a rocketship on top of that, have a train run into the dumpsters and send the rocket to the moon. It would save billions of dollars
In this game: Trains are an unstoppable force... And utility poles and trees are an unmovable force... .... You see where I'm going with this yet? I *want* to see this happen.
I doubt you can stop it. it's probably labelled as part of the environment in the games code, and the dumps are vehicles, so the train will just obliterate anything in its path, because it's programmed to just keep moving. It'd be the same probability of success as demolishing one of the skyscrapers in the main city area.
***** Put as many sticky bombs on the front as you can, it will stop.. And it does have a detroyed texture/animation. Also there is a very rara chance it will stop at a station near sandy shores (don't remember location, just look it up) but will go off after a while.

There is always something enchanting about doing something crazy stupid to test the very limits of a game engine. The very magic of creating a dump of Dumps that perform Spacetime acrobatics when struck by a locomotive. It's simply awe-inducing.
These episodes are fun, and all but, I'm true honesty. The trains programmed to a track, and nothing else, its why its never been derailed. The only way to stop the GTA 5 Train is to put a part of the world, or immovable objects on the track. But in doing so may; A: cause a crash B: No collide through it. Or C: will glitch out the train whilst stopping it BTW yes ik the guys aren't stupid *well, Gavin* to not know this. They've seen glitches, and game failures longer than most. So I'm only theorizing.

Looks like MPI regurgitated a GP30 cab with a GP50 hood on an SD9 frame and somehow broke physics. All railfans who understand this should leave a like.
And most railroaders like myself couldn't care less what type of locomotive it is. Not to mention most of us hate riding in that type of cab. (The SD-40 style cab).
Before even watching the video to the second minute I knew it was not going to work but since I knew this I decided I couldn't wait to see the carnage when the train slams into the dumps
haha great stuff, can't wait to get my hands on the pc release. Don't know if i like Gavin's attitude in this video. Things are better when we all get along, but that takes effort from everyone to happen.
You guys should totally do an alternate takes video for this. PS in comparison to the last stop that train video you seriously took away a lot of the hilarity by cutting down chunks between trains. Its called suspenseful humor/comedic timing.

To try to explain why it is unstoppable is that it is not just a moving vehicle. to the game you can consider it as another level or area that you can enter or leave at any time
