I suggest getting the number of your hotel. That way you can call and let your hotel give the taxi directions if you don’t know Chinese and don’t know your way around. If you take a taxi, make sure they use card to track the price and if you decide to get in a black cab (I don’t recommend) make sure you negotiate a price BEFORE you go anywhere.
It is a fascinating place to visit and we loved living so near it for two years. Highly recommend it for anyone who wants to see a different way of life
everything is good, expect beijing is cheap, it is cheap to buy veg and fruit, but if you are talking about good hotels, restaurants, it is more expensive than london and Paris
Oh really? We lived in China for two years and yeah the western restaurants would charge similar or more than the US, generally we found hotels to be fairly priced. I guess the big chains are more than the local spots but we didn’t feel like they cost more than Europe. However, we were there pre pandemic so maybe prices have gone up now
ticket for the forbidden city you can buy from 7 days prior from 20:00 o'clock Beijing time. I found the official site. I hope I can buy it there as a foreigner. I hope this helps.
I am looking to visit Beijing for my Son's birthday celebration at the end of this year, done with hotel booking, I am looking for tour n travels operator. Can you assist?
Great video thank you! One thing I really want to know is - if I’m visiting from the UK for 3-5 days do I need to apply for any kind of visa, if so how much?
If you are visiting just Beijing then flying back to the Uk then you will need a visa. If you are stopping over in Beijing en route to another destination in that direction, you can use the 72/144 hour transit visa
@@Noname-rj6gwThat's too many days for a single 144hrs transit visa. However Beijing and Tianjin can be in the same visit because Beijing has special transit visa rules to allow that.
I want visit china, it is beautiful, i seen by u tuber , i want make u tube, from canada need visa .? What about guide how i get ? And reasonably hotel name ; in all place? Can you send me information?
You will need a visa and can apply for one online. We loved stayed at Courtyard 7 but it depends what you want to see and do. The Novotel is Great too and we always enjoyed our stayed at the Holiday Inn Dongzhimen
