Oh my gosh Ellen, couldnt believe it when seen vegemite on your bench. Did you know its a famous Australian staple. Evey Aussie eats it I am vegatarian have been for 25 years I don,t eat subway alot but Im glad we don't have to tip in our country. Our wages are one of the highest in the world and I"m grateful for that. As for makeup I still have like it but only when I leave the house. At home I don"t care. I love living on my own doing my own thing. Your dogs were so cute this morning..Animals truly love us uncondionally Have a great day Ellen. Love from Sydney.
Ran errands today, took husband for flu vaccine and RSV vaccine and picked up medications at two different pharmacies (due to cost differential) it's sure inconvenient when you try to save money. Anyway husband wanted to go into Kroger so we did spend money buying food we didn't really need but this was the first time he has been out walking since his surgery on 9/11 so it was worth it. Did a little preliminary work on my hutch project. My paint and other supplies arrived today so Monday I will probably begin in earnest. I've also given up makeup unless I'm going out, although I do try to look presentable. I love how I currently look, short gray hair- so easy to care for, quite dying it at age 50, fit healthy body (even though I could lose 20 pounds, LOL), casual comfortable wardrobe. I'm definitely not a fashion icon. Praying you don't have to take that expensive medication.
Your pups are so cute! One of my dogs will eat too fast and choke too. I put water in his food to soften the kibble slightly, and it also slows his gulping, so less choking. And I agree with you about people...if having to twist myself into a pretzel to please someone else is needed, that person is not meant to be in my life.
Hi Ellen, I agree with all you have discussed here. I wear glasses, so I truly can't see to apply makeup because I need to remove them to put the makeup on, so I don't wear it. I do put on a little lipstick most of the time before I go into a store. I donated 90% of my dresses, dress pants, fancy blouses, high heels, all things I haven't worn since I retired. I am a homebody and feel comfortable just being here, in my new place! 😊 My BFF moved to Virginia, so I am alone 90% of my time. Hopefully, someday, I will meet a nice gentleman for coffee, lunch, country drive, just a simple friendship... Well, I am glad that the last test you had was normal, Ellen. I know you want answers, and I hope you can get the medical help you need. No one wants to feel bad even 50% of the time...praying for you. Take care and enjoy your evening. ❤😊
I have let go of having all my dishes done when I go to bed. I used to totally clean the counters and put every dish away. Now any dishes I make after I wash dinner dishes remain in sink til I do breakfast dishes and clean counters in am. I feel less stressed not having to continually double clean kitchen daily. I also let go of night time skin routine. If I moisturizer after my shower fine and if I don’t fine. No cares as you get older.
Maybe if you make a list of what you eat each day (I know it's hard. I had to do it.) then when your stomach feels worse, check out the last two days and what you ate.
I had to spoon feed one of my schnauzers once because he had 3 bad choking episodes. The last time i found my dog unconscious and a blue tongue sticking out. My husband was home and gave him the heimlich and rescue breathing and saved him,
Have you tried eliminating soy? I heard a dr say soy products are a high gmo food and are highly inflammatory to our bodies. All my tests came back good like yours. Final diagnosis is gastritis with sensitivity. I was told as we age the lining of the stomach becomes thinner and bothers the nerves. The colostrum has helped me alot along with collagen. Hope they find you an answer soon.❤
