Allan, Ken, Al and Steve begin this week's episode by following up on last week's interview with Philip Norman and giving opinions about the book "McCartney: The Life," then give some thoughts about the Mark Lewisohn - Conan O'Brien interview, and the connections of Bob Dylan and Brian Wilson with the Beatles. As always, we'd love to hear from you at thingswesaidtodayradioshow@gmail.com.

Bruce Johnston was the one to play Pet Sounds for John and Paul. Brian was at home in L.A, and largely didn't fly out of the country, when he did rarely travel.

Brian didn't play bass on much of Pet Sounds. Wrecking Crew member, Carol Kaye, famously did!

The Dylan song you're referring to is "I Wanna Be Your Lover," an outtake from 1965 that ended up on Volume 2 of the Bootleg Series.

Is it Ken Michael's microphone that sounds "blasted"? Dreadful sound, someone needs to do something about it as it is a serious distraction!
