If you’re trying to kill time, and you’ve done your candle runs, your dailies, even eden, there’s still tons to do. You can camp around and wait to help open doors for lil babies. The most needed one for moths is the praying emote. Since the pray is locked behind the 4 person door in a dark corner on the first floor, they’re not going to have it in time to use for the levitating emote. However, now if you sit there and pray and wait, you can summon him out for moths to freely collect completely solo. If they’re patient enough to wait around and watch you, that is. It still takes a solid 60 seconds as one person. Another thing I’ve been doing since being around the social space more often, is go around home and take pictures of people who light me. Then I can take those from my steam screen shot folder and post it in the discord of just “people I’ve met today” or “outfit for the day” One big thing I’m working on is finding and taking a picture in game of every single lore piece and “documenting” my findings. If you’re bored, make your own story! There’s literally so much to do if you can make a story!
they should really add actual things to do in sky that aren't just for currency. maybe make the days of feast races year-round or weekly quests that take time and effort to complete. this game just becomes really dull without things to do and this video is proof lol
Tbh it's all about friends and you can have fun with only having someone with yourself. If they'd like have some plans for like people to find more friends in game or basically something fun to make us continue playing and have less people leave the game is gonna be awesome.
There should be a minigame like transformice, where you need to pick up a candle very far away to return with it as fast as possible, and players could make maps to this minigame This way you could get wax while also having fun with players, like a adapted fireplace
Tbf it’s still very much a work in progress. I’m sure there’s a lot the devs want to add to it before the game is truly complete. That’s why we have seasons to add things to the games like the shards, camera and a lot of stuff in the Valley.
honestly skating and perfecting the manta whisperer flight in the citadel are my favourite solo activities between the dullness of farming. Interacting with ppl gives me anxiety, partially because the disaster that is the emotes menu (impossible to find gestures at the right time while interacting, cause everything is mixed and disorganized and there are too many of them) and partially because ppl only want to talk, but nobody speaks english and i never have something interesting to say
For the emotes, you really just have to practice. If you avoid people because of the anxiety of having too much delay in your emote responses, you’ll never improve. That’s just the honest truth. I used to have the same struggle, and now, even as my emote library is larger than ever, I can find everything quickly. Practice makes perfect And for the friends… again, you just gotta keep trying. You’ll find your people. I always struggled finding friends that didn’t make only small talk, and one day I stumbled upon them. And that person introduced me to dozens more people, and they made me very happy. We’d talk for literally _hours_ daily. They’ve moved on now, but I still cherish the memories and they’re the reason I continue to strive to interact with others. It’s not fair to make a minimum effort and then be sad that people aren’t what you want. Im sorry, but it’s just silly to me to think people are uninteresting. Everyone is at first; that’s just a matter of time. You’ve gotta be consistent and put in the work to be close with people

Well, Idk, I constantly go to the Vault and help people open doors again and again And then I go into the Wasteland and make sure that no one throws moths to the krills ... And then I do everything the same as shown in the video (except marshmallows, I do cosplays)🤣
my favorite thing to do in sky alone is do some out of bound’s shenanigans 😼, although i get that not everyone would want to do that lol. recently just found out how to rocket and its really been a game changer cause now i can literally go anywhere i want 🤯🤯😨
The game is very boring after a while and once you’ve explored and collected all emotes and lights it’s very repetitive especially if you lack friends or struggle making them then it’s mostly just completing your daily and candle running.I took a whole year off of sky because I just felt it was a chore at that point although it would be very cool for them to actually add something doable without a friend
When im bored ill stay in home space and light up a player, then i examine them closely and turn myself into their twin sometime they leave before i can tho :')

This game is fun, but it's even more enjoyable if you got friends to play with. The friends in question is someone who also feels fun playing sky, not getting forced to play😭😭 i once force one of my friend to play this and they keep complaining abt everything😭and then they quit the game in less than a week playing. That makes me feel something negative in some way lol.. don't ever force someone to pkay this unless they download it themselves😓 (bad english mb, i'm sleepy rn too lazy to fix)
It actually upsets me so much that none of my friends enjoy the game dude. It sucks cause yea I could play with strangers but I want to play with my people and my people don't want to. It's really lonely for me in the game rn.
