Things You Didn't Know: Yamaha MT-09 / FZ-09
In this video I mention different things that a regular person or a rider would have probably not know about the Yamaha MT-09. Due to the higher cost of this motorcycle, manufacturers are able to pack slightly more features compared to cheaper alternatives such as the Yamaha MT-03 or Yamaha MT-07. In this video I go through interesting features and quirks that this motorbike has to offer such as electronics and many more.

Things You Didn't Know: If you take this on test ride and think to yourself "How easy is it to get the front wheel up?" and proceed to "give it a bit of gas" you could very well be on your ass in half a second. Source: Me, almost wrecking an MT-09 1 minute into testing one.

Whilst I know it's a big jump from a small 125cc, I'm 6,3 and 120kg and I have heard the leg space on the mt07 is small for tall people. I'll respect the throttle.

Too bad Yamaha decided to destroy the MT-09's design with the 2021 model. I hope they redo the design making it more in line on what the 2nd gen design have. After all it's the 2nd gen design that makes the MT-09 unique and the headlight of the MT-09 is the icon of the MT series to be honest.

Got a 2018. Going to upgrade to 890cc 2021 SP model (USA) if this year pans out "tolerable" with all the political crap going on.

@@TURBOTWINKIE New frame, 50% higher frame rigidity, shorter forks, weight bias more forward, Ohlins rear, forged wheels, 6-axis IMU, cruise control, etc. should be a winner I'd say.
