As a native Floridian, THANK YOU for all the info on our wildlife!! You showed that visitors need to be aware but not scared. When you said cameras in line, it reminded me of one time when I was a kid. My parents took us three kids, and my brother, the oldest, kept sitting on the handrail in splash. To me it always felt like WDW was in a way its own sovereign country or city-state. They pretty much have everything to be independent from the rest of the world. They have residential areas, shops, restaurants, several transit systems, their own utilities like power, water, and waste disposal on property, and at one moment they even had their own currency. Walt's original vision of creating his own futuristic community with EPCOT may not have happened but in a way he did create his own city. And then there's Celebration, FL.

The Japan area is Epcot is so accurate. I think if Disney added in the Shinkansen (bullet train) ride, that it would’ve been so cool, and there’s also nothing like getting to see Mount Fuji on a clear morning with the clouds rolling over the neighboring mountains. Also fun fact; there’s a life size Godzilla statue in Kabukicho, Tokyo. I’ve read where he has his own Japanese citizenship and everything, I hear hes pretty popular!

First, AJ, I love the channel!!!Second, as a former Disney cast member (worked in Consumer Products for 10 years), whenever I visited WDW, I would go backstage to feel the camaraderie of my fellow cast members. Although, as you mentioned, the utilidors were part of backstage, they were clean, well-organized, and bustling with friendly cast members. Yes, occasionally you might get a whiff of ‘food or waste services’, but no worse than from an industrial kitchen or stadium. Eating in the cafeteria was relaxing, and I even got my hair cut at Kingdom Kutters to maintain the Disney look from experts. The only thing that shocked me in the utilidors one time was while I was waiting for the shuttle bus to the cast member parking lot: I saw Cinderella (in full hair and make up, but wearing jeans and a jacket), having a cigarette! That is an image I will never forget!🤣

I wasn’t privy to the actual occurrence. What we pieced together was, a parent, instead of waiting in line for the bathrooms, had their kid squat in seating area. Great video. My family hasn't been there since 2000. A restaurant my wife and I loved was one called Aria's. It was named after the little mermaid. It was in one of the "beach" hotels and villas. Great seafood. I also loved riding in the Epcot globe listening to Earl Ray Jones narrating the ride.

I’m from key west and was able to evacuate to Disney with my whole family including my two dogs. It’s was amazing and they treated us so well. Including discounting our room.

A ride I've been on and wish they could bring back is the Nautilus ride! It really was like being underwater, and the fish outside the port holes were so much fun!

Strawberry Swirl!! I have lamented this being gone from the MK for a long time but hardly anyone seems to remember it. I FEEL SEEN. I can't imagine why they ever stopped serving this....it was ah-may-zing. I think I cried the first time I went and it was no longer available.

Mr. Toad and Captain EO! I remember The Disney Afternoon walk between Fantasyland and Tomorrowland at Disneyland. And getting a chili bread bowl at The Golden Horseshoe. Best value. At least there are still corn dogs...

It's back! but it's themed after Finding Nemo now... not a horrible way to bring it back, but the original ride was still better, in my opinion.

The wildlife in WDW is wonderful!!! I've seen Turtles and snakes and palmetto bugs...but I've also seen ducks and waterfowl, and lots and lots of bunnies. The grassy areas in front of the castle have some decent sized rabbit warrens in them, and when the sun sets, the bunnies come out around dusk to feed. :)

One of the ice cream shops near me has dole whip! They always have vanilla, but each week they have a different second flavor, I’ve had raspberry, lemon, pumpkin, and blueberry dole whip so far this summer!

It was always fun as a former CM to be sitting eating your lunch, and there's a character half in costume talking with someone else eating in a different costume.

A little more than 30 years ago, we went to a luau at the Polynesian. While watching it, I felt something on my leg and I looked down and it was the world's largest roach. I screamed, swatted it away, and jumped out of my seat.
