Things You NEED To Know Before Moving To Las Vegas 

I think Vegas would be good change of scenery and provides you a similar cost of living and you get to be in the west coast!

You can do it. I’m a single person looking to move there. I’m from Cali originally, but been living in Atl for the past 4 years. It’s nice but I wanna be closer to home and it’s not my total personality out here. I’m gonna go! Hopefully you make it there too! Good luck! 🍀 🫶🏾😊

@kaycee3908 I moved to Vegas from Texas as a single parent and although I am paid well, the work here is overwhelming (you will earn it by working like a monkey dog) the rent is high (for a good safe area) and the public schools suck on a level I have never experienced in my life. Nevada ranks 49 lowest of the 50 states. So your kids will not reach their full potential academically. Charter schools are a bit better, but you have to provide transportation for the kids and they are always asking parents for money and to go to this or that. I recommend moving to a new place in Texas or to a northern state. Minnesota is freezing but healthcare was magnificent and schools were better (loads of scholarships to help with college fees). Rent was about the same as Texas for a suburban area home rental.

Agreed. Dumb people. Locals who want to date and meet people are unsuccessful because there's so many sketchy people living here. They want to date 20 year olds with no brain, then go to the next. Some of them say "they live here" but are only here once a month to cheat on their spouses. You can't trust anyone and crime is everywhere. Rental prices have gone up and I live paycheck to paycheck. There's no body of water except for the poor excuse of a lake (Lake Meade) where people with money go with their boats. If you don't live as a couple or a significant other, you should make a lot of money to sustain your monthly rent. If you're lucky enough to have a great job and a great salary, good for you. You'll be okay if you like the environment and the dust bowl this place truly is. It's a hell hole with dumb drivers and dumb people.

Hi! Thanks so much for watching my channel! You gave a lot of opinions in your comment so let’s breakdown the facts so you are informed. 1. The median price point for homes in Las Vegas is $440k. You will see this year over year increase because when a large group of people move to a city like they did after the pandemic typically prices will go up. So that’s not something that is out of the ordinary. That’s normal. A house in 2023 will never cost the same as a house in 2013. 2. As of result of home prices increasing that is going to include property taxes but mind you Las Vegas STILL ranks 4th lowest in country. 3. Schools you are right they haven’t gotten better but there’s always private and charter options if public schools aren’t right for you. 4. Homelessness is in EVERY city in the country. In fact Las Vegas isn’t even in the top 10. It sits at #14. 5. Auto insurance is higher because of the number of accidents in the city. 6. If you think Las Vegas traffic is bad I’d encourage you to take a drive to LA and see how long it takes you to drive a mile. You can get ANYWHERE in Las Vegas in 30 minutes 7. Realtors lying? I’m sorry YOU had a bad experience with a realtor but I don’t need to lie to earn your business. My clients work with me because I am honest. 8. You should try restaurants OFF the strip if you find that area expensive. There’s so many options in Vegas for any taste of food. For more ideas refer to my instagram. 9. Las Vegas is a hospitality first city so tipping is how we take care of the people who take care of us. If you don’t like tipping I’d recommend staying home. 10. Las Vegas weather is hot mainly in July and August and if we are speaking facts EVERYWHERE in the country is hot these months. @@CB.LasVegas Just because you don't like what is stated doesn't make it opinions, they are FACTS. Sounds like you're a master of minimizing and ignoring problems people will face in Vegas just so you can sell more houses. So if the traffic is bad in Vegas and you say well it's worse in LA, does that make the traffic in Vegas not bad? In all you response are stated in the same manor. Also I was talking about the cost of things off the strip. You're so obtuse and definitely fit into the category of bad realtors as I stated above.
