What in your understanding is good criticism? :) "I was once told in the comments that I'm not a teacher and what I say is ridiculous and I should be like some other teachers that they like" and then that was justified as fair criticism. And that's just one mild example. People can justify everything they say as good criticism, especially on the internet where they can write anything they want cuz nobody can see them and confront them right away in their face. The real question is "Why do they write those comments?" Has anyone asked them? Why do they care? Do they truly want to help or they just project their insecurities on others and making someone feel bad helps them feel better? And do they think that they have the right to tell someone what to do? Honestly, nobody is perfect. And if someone thinks that I don't see my weak sides and they want to open my eyes they are mistaken. We all have things we need to improve and we all know them. But when people criticise others they just show that they have some unresolved problems. Unfortunately words can be used as weapons. They can hurt someone. What for one is nothing for the other might be fatal. I think that a lot of people just forgot what it's like to be a decent, understanding, caring and supporting human being. with all that being said, I really appreciate when people who truly know what they are talking about give me advice (on my pronunciation fro example or correct me if I was wrong about something). Because this gives me the opportunity to learn, grow and improve. :)

I personally believe that the RU-vid platform has a large range of audience that sometimes people write comments that mean nothing to them and fatal for others. Like my mama said "if you have nothing nice to say, don't say it". Right?
