Earth Day weekend I was fortunate enough to be able to organize and take part in the third annual Ancient Lakes Ride once again. This year we had amazing weather, rattlesnakes, black widow spiders, turtles, vultures, wind, endless wet wipe showers, pack raft dismount failures, a full moon rise, an invisible bat, a mysterious rumbling in the distance, and a really awesome group of riders. A good time was had by all!
I just didn't feel like dragging all the video equipment with me so this
year's video is primarily a slide show, devoid of the now ubiquitous quadcopter fly-bys.
My deepest thanks to John, Boo, Shawn, and Josh for making it such a great time, I hope we can do it again next year!
