This engine series if 1.6 TDi and 2.0 TDi in ventos and Lauras are built to last if maintained, jst general service. My 2012 Laura 2.0 TDi has already clocked 3.68 lac kms and still running fine
I have a 2012 Vento 1.6Tdi which has just crossed 2L kms. It has been running on a stage 1 tune for the past 30k kms. I have been wondering if i should go for a stage 3 tune directly but the reliability was my concern. Now this video gives me more confidence!
@@raadhar4069 Yes the water pump has been changed. I have often randomly heard of steering column failures and clutch master cylinder failures. Is it common or specific to a particular way of usage/maintenance?
They are not common. Depends on various factors. Personally, I had changed the steering rack at 1.2L kms since it started making noise. It has started to make noise again now at 2L kms. But it can be used it won't fail. I never had a clutch master cylinder failure. Still running on stock clutch. But it's due for a replacement.

Do you think even Hyundai's 1.4 and 1.6 crdi bs4 is capable of taking tune without compromising on reliability and efficiency and dont need tons of money to keep it running? Please confirm. 🙂
