My favorite build so far is probably the blade of the deep - the crab arms are pretty underrated and very cool looking. The lore tab is pretty funny too
02:30 Side note, I appreciate Mac holding out on buying cosmetics with silver. If there's one thing I hate about this game, it's the HEAVY double-dipping of monetization.
Another tool to use with assassin's cowl is the mod that gives you an over shield while performing a finisher. Gives you that overshield safety net when you use a finisher to proc AC's heal an invis. Can definitely come in clutch in a bad spot.
This right here can be absolutely critical. When you NEED the invis and healing from a finisher, but while doing the finisher you get absolutely hammered, it kinda ruins the moment.
Here is a build idea that I have been running for a while. It feels like i'm a one-man army. Strand Hunter with Foetracer. Aspects: Whirling Maelstrom + Threaded Specter Fragments: Thread of Warding (for Woven Mail), Thread of Continuity (increased Sever and Unravel duration), Thread of Transmutation (Tangle generation while having Woven Mail), Thread of Generation (for grenade energy when taking damage). Abilities: Gamblers Dodge, Triple Jump, Threaded Spike, Grapple Grenade. Stats: I prioritize max resilience and discipline. Weapons: Your strand weapon of choice, I prefer The Navigator as it performs very well. Quicksilver, or anything else will work. Secondary weapon of your choice, I prefer anything with Incandescent for add clear. Heavy weapon is the strand rocket, Semiotician (We'll touch on this later). Armor + Mods: Head - Foetracer; special ammo finder, harmonic siphon x2 (you can run 1 if you want to run something else with it. Arms - impact induction x2, harmonic loader (this can be changed to whatever you want) Chest - harmonic reserves x1, resist mods to match whatever you're running) Legs - harmonic scavenger, strand surge x2 Cloak: Bober x2, Time Dilation I made this build to constantly have tangles up and running on the field for DOT with Whirling Maelstrom. Threaded Specter is used to take aggro from nearby enemies for a bit helping with survivability. Double strand surge for both of your strand weapons. I personally like to use The Navigator to give teammates woven mail when possible. Now for the heavy weapon, I chose Semiotician with enhanced field prep and bipod to be able to dump as many rockets as I can, as fast as I can. Extra damage boost from the double strand surge + Foetracer to help counteract the damage reduction from bipod. The survivability is great as well as maneuverability with your grapple grenade. I feel like this build really showcases how a strand hunter can perform. I've used this build for over 50 Crota's End clears and almost never die. The add clear is insane with the whirling tangles and your strand primary weapon, I almost never touch my secondary weapon. As I said, I use Navigator and almost never run out of ammo. Threaded Specter helps sever enemies and keep your damage boost up from Foetracer. Hope you see this and decide to try it out!
Shoutout to your Void Titan grenade spam will-it-build. I never had any desire to play that subclass until I watched that video, but it not only showed me that Void Titan was worth playing, but showed me a build and gameplay loop that II could try out right away! Any video that makes me fall in love with a whole subclass has gotta be my top-tier.
The Blade of the Deep build has been my favourite for sure. It actually got me to revise my version of it with the new fragment setups and it has been a MAJOR upgrade. Not needing the emblem, just wanted to share a positive experience. Also the individual who made that build is a GENIUS with the fragment setups.
I've been using a similar build but with cyrtarachne's facade for a while now, neat trick that works great when other fireteam members are also making tangles, the super heavy atk will pop all the tangles in a pretty wide area around you, can have a bunch of whirling blades pop at once
I try all the builds you post (and a few old ones still stick around, like the gyrfalcon void hunter from season of the deep and the OG stasis turret warlock) but my fave of the WIBs so far is probably the Ophidia knives Hunter. I wore my old Ophidia for years when I started playing in forsaken, and have fond memories of doing entire strikes on middle tree fan of knives without ever firing a weapon. When solar 3.0 hit and took away Playing With Fire x3 from my buff bar, I sadly moved on to new solar pastures in Caliban's and YAS. I thought the days of infinite double triple knife spam were gone, but you really did bring back a classic for me. The Snake in the Grass build lives again, with a new flavor of knife and a lot more collateral damage. Thanks so much! 😊
As a Hunter, tough call for favorite build between Blade of The Deep or one of the Solar variants for Hunter. The Vexcalibur build is not only and FINALLY a fun build but also a good one. The Celestial buff with Ophidia rework, Dragon's breath rework, and also Caliban's being fun as always....yeah def not a stasis season as things stand lol, but those 2 will prob be my rotational flavors going forward until further notice.
I actually really like this one! It's alittle different than the one I use. Initially I was so hyped when Lightfall dropped to try it, but the grapple melee didn't work properly, so I dropped it. Trying this now! Very fun! EDIT: Strand makes it so hard to go back to other subclasses. Love speed running with the clan, playlist strikes by trying to skip areas. We usually hit a death wall when skipping a objective like the bridge on the OG moon strike.
@@EmptyPeace No legit, run the moon strike and use grapple grenade to skip a bunch of the strike. If you chain grapple points, you can do the elevator part well before the elevator actually gets to the crystals you need to blow up. Stasis can't do that as quickly, but we may have to try it out. Oh and yes, you've right. I don't "speedrun" Destiny 2, we just like to have fun and get things done FAST! I have speedrun older games from snes-n64/psx. Edit: if you ever want to, you can join in the racing shenanigans, just leave a comment with your id.
My favorite Will It Build, so far was the Dawn Chorus build. It drove me to finishing several catalysts to give me options. I'm still using a variation of it on my lock with Ticcus as my favorite primary
Been my favorite hunter build the last few seasons. Also added the new dungeon sidearm with enlightened action and premeability. It becomes a strand pocket rocket. 😊 also with the artifact mods for strand it unravels as well 😮
I'm pretty proud of the stasis build I pulled out of the void for this season. By no means will it carry you thru endgame but it absolutely will frag at the mid tear and you'll be smiling every step of the way. Stasis hunter with Gambler's dodge, jump of choice and Glacier grenades. Your aspects are Touch of Winter and the infamous Shatterdive. The fragments are Whisper of Rending, Fissures, Shards and Chains. The exotic of choice for this is Mechaneer's Tricksleeves paired with a Cryosthesia 77k and an Indebted Kindness with Beacon Rounds (Ideally coupled with Voltshot) and a heavy of your choice (mine being Cold Comfort with Envious/Bait and Switch) Stasis and arc siphon on the helmet with a purple brick finder, Momentum transfer + Impact Induction + Bolstering on the gloves (since we don't need reload due to Mechaneers), appropriate resist mods for the activity, a recuperation and an innervation and a surge for legs (or scrap the recuperation and run double surges if you're confident) and lastly Powerful Attraction + Bomber + Reaper on the legs. The seasonal artifacts you'll run for this are Pillar of Ice and Hail the Storm. Piercing sidearms is a good choice too since that lets you cover all 3 champion types with just abilities and your little pistols that could. The gameplay loop is leaning on Cryosthesia's LN2 to control the enemies from all ranges while you lean on Shatterdive to clear close quarter targets and Indebted to strike at a distance. With the passive 100 handling and reload speed to sidearms given by Mechaneers, the hotswap is all too quick, easy and painless (also giving you the best chance to abuse your foes with Voltshot spam). Glacier grenades to shut down enemy spawn areas to dive on or shoot while also giving you an option to use as a deployable shield to buy you some breathing room. If you can get the Tricksleeves dmg buff to proc, open fire indiscriminately with Indebted Kindness. One kill will have you set for tracking while the Tricksleeves will refills your mag and increase your buff timer. Fun fact: Mechaneer's Tricksleeve reload on kill proc works with the Devil's Ruin charged Laser shot. Indiscriminate solar beams are a great way to ring in the holidays, especially with infinite Restoration and Radiance!
And the pyrogale build too Last season i didnt bother using pyrogale before patch because i figured it would get patched but recently when i saw your video about it Ran it in legend weekly LF story and had a blast ngl w build
Try Buried Bloodline .... having devour on strand is pretty dang fun. I prefer Round Robin as my primary, but Lethal Abundance now is pretty sweet too. (Your beyblade buddy killing ads will keep your Devour up and running while you DPS a boss :p)
honestly the arc hunter where everyone is a punching bag was my favorite build that i have used for ever until this season where i switched to nighthawk hunter
So far my favorite will-it build is the latest "Mactics' Galanor Hunter" solar hunter build. Have had some good knife throwing fun with that. Thank you for it!
- TITAN OF THE SEA BUILD - Winterbite Glaive + Wormgod Caress Strand: Rally barricade Shackle grenade Banner of war Drengrs lash Fragments: Generation Wisdom Binding Warding Artifact: From whence you came Wished into being Unraveling orbs if using Rufus’s Pillar of ice Dragons bite Hail the storm Helmet: Hands on Heavy finder Gauntlets: Bolstering detonation Momentum transfer Grenade kickstart Chest: Resistances Legs: Recuperation Innervation Absolution Class item: Bomber Reaper Distribution Gameplay loop: Suspend with you grenade or barricade depending on number of ads, use your glaive melee to get banner of war and burning fists going, use your glaive melee on everything, switch to frenzied blade every now and then for damage and orbs, repeat 🙂 bring champion stun weapons as needed for backup, I was using rufus’s fury for overloads this week plus a hand cannon. Add more mods where you have room. Use godsbane armor set and venomous shader for the drip. Have crazy fun with this one 😉 Posted by Charlie (TIMELOST)#8226
I've been using this build for the past few seasons. Honestly one of my favorites. It used to be a little annoying though because the melee ability used to bug out and lose all tracking if you went invis and then it wouldn't come back.
100% favorite build is pyrogale....I never even once used the exotic until I saw the utter joy you had when smashing everything with hammers and watching them explode
My favorite build so far has been the hunter vexcalibur triton arms that you had. I hate glaives, I dislike melee builds over all and yet here I am thoroughly enjoying myself running around melee'ing with a glaive I couldn't stand lol.
A pvp build I've been playing around with has been: Stasis Warlock - Ballidorse Wrathweavers - Empowering Rift - Appetance with Overflow Killing Tally - whatever energy slot primary you want as backup (i use Devil's Ruin). The first duel is easy with Empowering Rift and Stasis Surge x 4, then carry that momentum on with a trace rifle that never needs to be reloaded, just walk over bricks.
one of the best will it build videos was the warsat online / orbital strike video. very niche nut when you oulled out the dead messenger, it made the build that much more fun
So I'm a titan main trying to figure out how hunter works by not having my main source of damage being punches. I gotta say, your build with the shards of galanor plus the dragons breath is the most fun plus damage I've done on hunter and its really fun. It's refreshing having infinite restoration plus not having synthoceps equipped. Now give me the emblem. Please. I said please. I need a good emblem lol
This is my favorite build so far. The calibans hand build is a ton of fun with the ignition nukes going off. But this one is super unique and the mobility is incredible. Definitely going to give this one go when I get home
Really enjoying the content, and I dug the Glaive Hunter build you did not too long ago; building today and trying it out! (The Cowl ornament has a spec. effect w/the Universal Arm ornament being offered this season)
Favorite build is either hunter glaive build or the nighthawk build. I love nighthawk and have been interested in using glaives for awhile so it works out that these builds just happened
There is a build I saw (when my brother was playing with a random in The Coil) its only needs 2 things to get going but a more planned build would work wonders Void Hunter - Stylish Executioner New Exotic Buried Bloodline - Must have catalyst Gyrfalcon's Hauberk By killing with Buried Bloodline you get Devour, getting kills with Devour Weakens targets, Void Debuffed kills grant Invisibility, and popping out of Invisibility grants Volatile Rounds. Honestly i find it pretty smart, wish i could link their Bungie ID but i didn't pay attention to it back then.
My favorite was the hunter nighthawk build even though you didn’t have the artifact mods needed at the time you made the video. It was still pretty informative
Being a Titan main , I really enjoy the Pyro Titan build video. Set my Titian up with that build, literally the most fun I’ve had . Couldn’t stop laughing.
My favourite’s been Hunter with Oathkeepers and Ticuu’s. Been such a fun gameplay loop since I’ve only started playing my Hunter! Definitely the best buildcrafting content in the whole platform :)
Lucky Pants Solar Hunter Build: This one is super fun to play right now, and with some practice, you can cruise through difficult content (steep learning curve though) Super - blade barrage Grenade - healing Melee - shooters choice, I like fan of knives Aspects - on your mark, gunpowder gamble Fragments - empyrean, singeing, torches, blistering, char. Armor mods: Helmet - harmonic siphon, heavy finder Arms - heavy handed, impact induction, focusing strike Chest - resist mods for activity Lucky pants - kinetic weapon surge, insulation, recuperation Class item - powerful attraction, bomberx2 Weapons - malfeasance, solar weapon (I use ammit, and doomed petitioner with permeability. Gameplay loop. Malfeasance to clear the majors/bosses, solar weapons to build gunpowder gamble. Throw gamble and immediately pop healing grenade after. Ignitions will bring resto timer up, then just cycle and have fun. Mal does sick damage as we all know, but add in gunpowder gamble and it’s quite enjoyable.
I use this build all the time except I focus on grapple melee and grenades over the regular melee. I only use the melee for emergency invis and health regen at a distance.
favorite episode you've ever done was the OG beyblade hunter, but this season it's the blade of the deep. my wife and i run duo coils a lot and the vex boss room always decimates me while she has to titan sword tank until I'm back lol. the glaive build had me up for most of the fight and it was smooth sailing to a platinum run. 10/10
Pyrogale has been my favorite build in the Will it builds. Even tho throwing Hammer is still good despite it getting nerfed, Pyrogale with Concecration is more fun.
Whoever came up with whirling malestoms is a genius. They're also probably unemployed now too. My favourite build was the Void Titan but I personally prefer Peregine Greeeeeeeeeaves. Keep up the great work.
I love the Pyrogale/Consecration build, because I’d been running it even before I saw your video! 😂 The only difference is that I use a Pugilist/One-Two Punch Astral Horizon, a Pugilist/Incandescence BXR (for Scorch ticks from Incandescence refunding my melee, Pugilist because of course, and One-Two Punch for unpowered melee when Consecration is recharging), and Dragon’s Breath. It’s ridiculously fun.
I gotta agree with a lot of the comment section for the Glaive Hunter build, cool to finally see a use for the exotic gauntlets but my most used build from will it build by far has been the Celestial Nighthawk build.
My favorite build by far was the Consecration Titan. I'm a Hunter main and a Warlock back up player, have never really liked Titans but that build made me make a Titan just to try it out and wow... it's so fun! lol
Sooooooooo I have the goat of all hunter builds... Subclass: Strand Aspects: Whirling Maelstrom, Threaded Specter Fragments: Generation, Warding, Transmutation, Last is flex but I recommend ascent or fury Exotic armor: Mothkeepers Wraps Weapon recommendations: Demolitionist weapon (Rufus's fury) Exotic weapon: Ex Diris Head: special ammo finder arc siphon Arms: grenade Kickstart double bolstering detonation Chest: resists Legs: recuperation double innervation Class: (the classic) reaper, powerful attraction, bomber You are going to want to mostly be using ex diris hope you love this build as much as I did
Dude i literally made this before lightfall in anticipation for strand! How did it take this community this long to have this come up on radar? 😂 this is one of the best builds I’ve ever created. I used angel bond and spooky sword from the dungeon. The better pump into the envious aspect. I don’t talk about my bills on the Internet unless they’ve already come up on the Internet after I’ve made them. I am not taking credit for this person in anyway whatsoever but I have been using this bill for a very very long time and up until now I was the only person I’ve ever seen mentioned anything about it so kudos I’m proud of you!
I do want to mention if you would like to learn how to fully optimize this build I have a version of my own that works very similar to this that I created long time ago. Like before light fall in anticipation, for light fall, and the maelstrom. Has made it so much better. Highly recommend trying this with suspend though on your super. It gets interesting. Lol
As someone who is historically anti-Warlock, that Scatter Grenade build has actually been really fun. I’m not going to say I’ll be switching to a Warlock main anytime soon, but it’s made me not hate playing Warlock.
Nezerecs sin, graviton lance, stasis warlock, mods that loop abilities when picking up orbs and when using abilities cool down for others, then abyssal extractors procs and keeps your abilities charging as long as graviton keeps its explosions to keep proccing thus making stasis turrets with bleakwatcher and ice flare bolts
I love the Scatter Grenade Warlock Build. Your video build enhanced the set-up I used, Mactics. I had that for a long-time when Nothing Manacles was released and I was able to obtain it from the Chamber of Light Legendary Lost Sector I grinded. It drew me away from Titan for a long-time. However, Berserker and a long love for the Sentinel Titan has brought me back to the dark side.
THE SLAM BONK TITAN! There is nothing that says "Destiny" more to me than the power fantasy of slamming your big ass hammers down and destroying everything in front of you! Keep up the awesome work Mactics!
Loved the editors input after you waxed lyrical about tier 10 resilience as I did the same sort of thing many moons ago when part of my job entailed offline video editing of newsreel footage. It got giggles when spotted and caused confusion for those not watching the screen at the right moment. As to builds as a Warlock main I do lean towards the scatter grenade build but am also loving the Titan Pyrogale for running Coil solo as it has got me a couple of platinum runs. :)
I actually use the same build all the time, I’ve tested many times with the suspending affect and found that the beyblades are better, quicksilver storm is the best choice so far, as for a secondary weapons I use wilderflight with disorienting grenade and auto loading holster, and heavy can be whatever your preference is, wilderflight is useful in case your taking to much focus, or want to disorient you opponent even more, truly making you an assassin
The consecration titan was my favorite. I literally watched your video and replicated it as much as I could. Unfortunately don't have the exotic armor for it but will be grinding for it!! Keep this series up its been amazing!!
My favorite build video is definitely the slam solar Titan. You could feel how much fun you were having in the video and it actually got me to break out my titan to stay getting the exotics for that build.
I run this with threaded spectre just for the ninja feel it works better then invis because you can shoot while it distracts and they don’t catch on untill the spectre gets destroyed
