@@shogunnermedia4011i’m not sure what to recommend as a replacement, however mac has been doing wicked implement carries on stream every day! maybe you’ll get a carry if you stop by! :)
Finally someone recognized the true strength of Wicked Implement this season. It's literally stasis flavored Polaris Lance and I refuse to believe otherwise.
I hate it's per-bullet damage though. Still feels super weak for a primary. I think that it's good the build enhances it to this point, but it should stand alone better, as an exotic. It being a scout is the only reason this isn't the case. 20% buff and this thing is as desirable as Quicksilver.
When you used Palmyra-B on the Shrieker at 15:10 you not only had the 25% bakris buff and the 25% stasis surge for the activity, you also had impact casing (2.5%), boss spec (7.77%), EXPLOSIVE LIGHT (25%), AND... Hakke breach (30% to turrets - and shriekers DO count). So 1.25*1.25*1.025*1.077*1.25*1.3=2.80 (a 180% dmg increase). Argent ordinance artifact mod would have also buffed it another 15% (multiplicatively). Your impact dmg did 27,372 and your explosive did 87,731. This is 30% more than the damage you did on the Ultra Taken Centurion at the beginning, since he isn't classified as a turret.
@@bacon38 weapon and energy overcharges do not stack sadly. Say if solar and shotguns are the overcharges, if I run a solar shotgun then I'll only get a 25% buff, not 50%. But if you run a kinetic shotgun, you'll still obviously get the 25% for shotguns. It's handy for when you have a spare slot to run a special and your weapon of choice doesn't match/have the element.
Also, prodigal return is an arc grenade launcher with disorienting grenades, it doesn’t get auto loading but with envious assassin it can technically auto reload and get up to 4 in the mag
@@lorcanmcquitty1766 Nope no armor mods, I don't believe armor mods affect ANY weapon perks I just keep killing with other weapons and OCCASIONALLY I see it with 4 in the mag, not all the time though
@@amUusTV Normally it will only fill to 3, but the trick is that it will overfill to 4 any time the current magazine is an even number. For example, it starts with 1, you kill with another weapon until it's at 3, fire off one shot from the GL, now it's at 2, go back to the weapon you use to overfill it, and it should now overfill to 4, given you have enough enemies to kill. The perk will continue working until you reach a certain overfill percentage. This will also work if you only killed enough to get it to 2 in the mag in the first place, swapped to a different weapon, and then swapped back to kill things again, but it's a little harder to stop at 2 than just overfill to 3 and fire one shot off. You can also do this with heavy GLs like Koraxis' Distress and Cataphract, the cut-off for the perk working seems to be around 12, or 14, and I presume any other weapon with Envious Assassin. Another good example is Cold Comfort, normally it overfills to 3, but if you can overfill starting from 2 in the mag you can get 5 rockets in a row alongside the Restoration Ritual origin perk.
Bakris is extremely underrated! You can also use weapons like Trespasser, the new Special Ammo Sidearm from Warlords Ruin & the world drop Rocket Launcher from this season? Reconstruction x Explosive Light & a Bakris Light Shift it puts in serious work!! You can also do a similar Shatterdive set up with Renewal Grasps. Smack your snowglobe in doorways, spawn points & then use Wicked Implement or a Headstone Weapon to delete whatever spawns. Sometimes bigger enemies will break the big crystal but if it survives? Shatterdive for the clean up!
I think Wicked Implement works best with Cadamus Lance Ridgecap on Titans. Rapid precision hits slow combatants, and create Diamond Lances while behind a barricade. Shattering targets or stasis crystals generates shards, way easier than on Hunters.
I've wanted to do a titan flavored build of this for a while. Left the game during season of opulence, and a friend got me back in early least season. Fell in love with the stasis subclass upon my return, and Icefall mantle was one of my first "new" exotics. Used it for a while paired with Ager's Scepter (and that damage *is* pretty nice) but I've been wanting to turn into a turret with Wicked Implement.
Building this RN and trying it out. Saw you on Friday assisting with the deep dive mission. Hope you'll be doing more runs this week. I don't have the weapons just yet. Great content
Been running a build like this since I got wicked implement and absolutely LOVE IT! I combo mine with my envious assassin voltshot UnderCurrent GL and the build SLAPS!
These are always fun, they get me to jump on D2 just to try them out. I was rocking the mask of Bakris when it first came out, but throughout the seasons its been on the backburner but i like this build!
Love the will it build videos, my only request would be that dim links were added. Yes, I can go through the video and put it together but dim links are so nice 😂
Hi buddy actually I was and still using almost the same build but I will recommend to swap two fragments to take it to the next level to survive . Use : conduction, shards, chains , rime , fissures this combination will give you the advantage to destroy and also to stay alive and almost always having an over shield . For mods your faulted use two impact inductions and one momentum transfer . Leg invigoration , recuperation , innevation . Weapon I m using the new pulse legendary disparity with heating up , frenzy , hake breach armaments as Kentic , energy arc grenade launcher with demolitions and attrition orbs . For power to take advantage of damage boost from barkis helmet use thunderlord since the exists boosts both statis and atc .
This is in my top 3 of hunter builds with renewal grasps and i love it, its so much fun and pairs well when me and my buddy are playing and he's using well and polaris lance
@@theneedlessmage6826I’m in the same boat, I just don’t have a group I’m comfortable with to try and get Wicked. Probably just gonna turn to LFG and hope for the best
I have another stasis build, for titan. Cadmus ridge lancecap Aspects - tectonic harvest (at least until maybe one day we get build in shards for the class then howl of the storm), diamond lance Fragments - fissures, rending, shards, conduction (or refraction), rime (could do chains) Weapons - wicked implement, polaris, really any easy precision hit weapon. And this season a strand weapon is fun for unravel on top of all the stasis explosions and crystals you make
The rocket used in this showcase is good, another one that is similar is the red herring. These rockets are slept on heavy and it’s kinda crazy. They do really damn good damage if you don’t want to grind for an apex predator! Highly recommend the red herring with impact casing, enhanced field prep, enhanced lasting impression. +psychohack the origin trait of the red herring makes targets you hit with it deal less damage in return!
Mactics I’m not gonna lie, when you started first posting on RU-vid I was like this dude ain’t gonna last. After watching you for several years at this point you’ve got to be one of the best contact creators and information sharing creators in the game. Period. Thank you!
Spur of the moment decided to get this scout rifle the other day. So happy I did. cheers to the submitter and Mactics for giving it a whirl. Also, I recommend consideration of Prodical Return GL. Arc, blinding, volt shot.
Im running a mask of bakris build with verglas curve indebted kindness and hothead. With the whisper of fractures fragment and the hail the storm artifact perk you can create a chain reaction that basically shatters all enemies/crystals at once without having to get close to them which means as long as ad density is high enough you can get back to back 5x hail the storm arrows with just two shots. Also running a stasis targeting and loader mod makes the bow feel so much better. Even without shiver quiver active the bow feels way less sluggish to use seeing how you're constantly switching between hip fire and aiming down sights. With whisper of hedrons and some armor charge mods you can basically get all 100 stats as well since you're constantly freezing enemies and making enough orbs to fill your armor charges. With these same orbs you can ad stacks of explosive light for hothead for that extra 25% damage which i believe stacks with the 25% from mask of bakris and another 15% from argent ordnance (cant stack surge mods though :/ ) which will delete any stunned champion or leave them in finishing range ( always one taps overloads with the artifact perk). With whisper of bonds, reaper and siphon mods you can get anywhere from 30-45% of your kills to turn into orbs too. Been trying so hard to make a viable stasis build since renewal grasps was still pretty mid (teamates kill enemies before they even get a chance to freeze) but I think I've finally cracked the code after hours of experimenting. Not to mention verglass basically already has intrinsic anti overload and anti unstoppable even without artifact perks due to the slow and shatter effects from hail arrows. Only downside is it still has 0 healing capabilities aside from recuperation mods. But we're rocking some pretty long range weaponry anyways so we should be in less danger so long as we keep our distance. I like saving my dodge with powerful attraction as a panic button when my health runs low though. With all the crystals we're smashing we get our nades back pretty quick too but I rarely even need to use them. Basically just use them to proc whisper of hedrons and shiver quiver at the start of an engagement
wonderful vid, not sure if you know or anyone has told you but if you dodge after you toss ur sup you get precision damage, you can go it b4 but you loss out on that timer (unless bungie change it ) its been a while since i was on this class
I just tested this build out, and was thinking it is either my now go to build for stasis hunter, or maybe switch out the exotic armor for Aeon Swift, since I wasn't dodging as much as I should. Thank you to LonesomeSoap for the mod setup!
Yes!! wicked implement quest is still tedious! i was only able to complete during the “craftining” with an OP ammit, i haven’t been able to help anyone else get it even though i love doing deep dives and constantly do them! seeing more exposure on how to do it would be great to see
19:10 this man is a genius. I would have had no idea that the grenade that puts up stasis crystals will do the thing that stasis is known for, freezing stuff. I had no ideas it did that
I would love some assistance with the wicked implement quest. Also, just for nostalgia purposes. Has anyone else been seeing D1 on the rise of games everyone's been going back to? Love it!
Another good weapon of choice (don’t get wrong, I love wicked implement) is verglas curve. It makes the stasis crystals on demand. You could also pair this build with forbearance to have amazing add clear as well. And it works great with conditional finality.
Mactics man honestly I have built an arc warlock that has just been straight decimating coils and solo content. Works well in a group but shines for solo play. I've been using scatter signal with envious and controlled, centrifuse, crux termination with envious and bipod for up to 8 loaded rockets. If you are interested in having extreme up time on all abilities and a super fast super, blinding effects and survival then I have one of the best arc warlock builds
I mean tbh most people don’t use stasis and see it for ad clear. Even stasis guns. It’s just like the weak ice to solar fire. Especially with incandescent existing. Having to shoot the crystal vs just the enemy is more (not harder) so it’s not used as much
@@kingmarcus014 shattering a stasis crystal is much more efficient for add clear than incandescent alone tho, it’s a bit of extra work for better results
MAC PLEASE GIVE GUIDE ON HOW TO GET WICKED IMPLEMENT. idek how to purchase previous seasons/access previous seasonal activities. do you need season of the deep's season pass to get wicked implement? if so how do you even get it now during season of the wish?
I don’t have it full fleshed or anything but a build with outbreak and strand, having all that unravelling with the nanites would be a cool combo. wonder if there’s a build that could do well with those
Run the new dungeon's rocket sidearm with anti barrier sidearm this season, and benefit from the Bakris damage on it as well since it's arc (or have permeability on it if you wanna double dip the stasis damage)
I have a build idea! High champion dps with void invisibility safety. Exotic armor piece: Lucky pants Exotic weapon: Malfeasance Energy weapon: Harsh language w/ envious and destabilizing rounds for ad clear. Power: apex predator Void subclass: shadow shot deadfall tether Aspects: vanishing step Trappers ambush Fragments: Persistence Cessation Starvation Obscurity The play style Stun overload with rocket launcher and activate luckypants and dps with malfeasance. Should be one clip of malfeasance to finish off a champion. Dodge or quick fall for safety invisibility After a champion kill, envious assassin on your wave frame should put two launcher shots in the magazine. Rinse and repeat for all champions or tanks.
Have you tried strand with lucky pants? Shackle nades mess with all Champs making for an easier malfeasance clean up. It's just a different flavor to the same build I suppose. Lol
You should really use DIM losdout short cuts for all will it build vids. I love it when u do it makes it so easy to use and get started. Please think about it. Thanks.
Will there be any future assisted deep dive runs ? Would love to get this scout but I don’t have divinity and can’t get anyone to carry - please advise, thanks !!
I think Replacing bakris with renewal grasp is better since you can stun lock all champs/ groups of ads while also getting the bonus resistance and reducing enemy damage output. Much more consistent for gm's
I think it depends on your play style. I prefer the mask of bakris for the damage buff you get also when you get stuck in the open the dodge gets you back to safety quick. For me personally the renewal grasp have been pretty inconsistent here the glacier grenade can also serve as cover when needed and do good damage also pushes certain enemies out of bounds which is hilarious to see.
I used to run Rags but Bakris shatterdive is more fun. Shatterdive and then light shift back to safety. For me duskfields have been very inconsistent, even more so if I don’t run every fragment built into slowing. The amount of times I’ve had champs just walk through the duskfield or seem to have an insufficient slow/freeze time is frustrating. Currently experimenting by mixing use of duskfields along with verglas curve shatterdive on bakris
You could also use an Arc rocket like hothead since 1) the GM had rocketlauncher surge and 2) this seasons artifact has overload rocket giving them +25% dmg (like weaponsurges)
Did you change your seasonal artifact for this video? Didn't see the person specify anything about the season artifact. Mostly woundering bcs it has some stasis things in it. Cool build!
Hey Mac, I have a build that I hope you will see. It's a wormgod's caress build on sunbreaker that focuses on high damage from your weapons, ignitions and melee. Hope you see this (who knows, maybe this could be in a Will it build? episode.) Anyways, here's the build: Subclass: Solar Titan (AKA Sunbreaker) Super: Hammer of Sol Barricade: Towering Jump: Whatever you prefer Melee: Hammer Strike Grenade: Thermite Aspects: Sol Invictus and Roaring Flames Fragments: Searing/Ashes/Torches/Mercy Weapons: The only weapon required is Imperial Decree with pugilist and Trench Barrel (more importance for trench barrel though.) Also, I recommend a weapon with incandescent and also Dragon's Breath, just so we can have as many ignitions as possible. Exotic Armor: Wormgod's caress Helmet: kinetic siphon/harmonic siphon and special ammo finder Arms: Heavy Handed (×3) Chest: Concussive Dampener/Charged up and what elemental resist needed Legs: kinetic surge/Recuperation and invigoration Class item: Bomber/Outreach and Proximity Ward To get the ball rolling in harder content, soften your enemies with the thermite grenade (and possibly get at least ×1 of Roaring Flames) then use your hammer strike to finish them off (unless you already have some stacks, then use a regular melee as it will still count as powered.) Basically get stacks of RF, punch enemies, proc radiant, constantly ignite the battlefield and enjoy improved weapon and melee damage. With this setup, I was able to beat the legend lost sector this week while 35 light below in 2 minutes or less (my personal best) with little difficulty and deaths. Anyways, I hope you at least see this, Mactics. Have a good rest of your day everybody, if you have any questions, just ask.
By the way, seasonal mods are kindling trigger/Flint Striker/Revitalizing Blast/ Overload Rocket/Rays of precision and solo operative OR Argent Ordnance.
I think instead of triple tap they should give it Shoot to Loot for stasis crystals. Flows perfectly into their design of "pick up crystal refil mag" theyre going for right now
I missed out on season of the deep. I got one of the exotic fish but with no one else around to fish with it’s near impossible with the constant despawning from public events. I still have yet to get the wicked implement.
Killing an enemy with shatter damage from a grenade induced freeze does count as a grenade kill. So things like Ashes to Assets and Momentum Transfer do work with stasis grenades; even if it takes an extra step to shatter.
Not only did I rush to get the wicked implement catalyst and complete it, I finished this build and took it into this week’s GM. Legit end game build I’m blown away. The EASIEST run of The Corrupted I’ve had (outside of Celestial build for this season). Whoever came up with this is a beast
Hello Mactics! Could you or someone else explain which buffs stack with each other? I'm trying to figure out what other buffs to use with the lumina buff.
Lumina is a 35% buff that cancels out/overrides radiant, aside from that you can benefit from surges still and any weapon perk related buffs (like Explosive Light or Bait and Switch) as well as an activity surge. Keep in mind, activity surges don’t stack within themselves, so if you’re in an activity that has stasis surge and a rocket surge, you’ll still only get a 25% damage boost on a stasis rocket for example.
When prismatic comes out I’m gonna try to make a hunter build that incorporates the new exotic class item hoping I get spirit of assassin and cyrtarachne on it for invis and woven mail have combination blow and grapple grenade and then with the aspects winter shroud and threaded specter to slow and destract enemies and for fragments I was thinking facet of protection, bravery, hope, and purpose. I haven’t figured out mod loadout or weapons yet but it will most likely involve strand and void weapons. When final shape comes out do you think it would be a good build.
I know it handled itself well enough in close quarters, but if you can depend on your team to not be buffoons, undercurrent would probably slap as a back up option. Demo and volt shot to chain into the next shatterdive, the arc boost from bakris, and even the vanguard healing trait. Its just getting the roll on said weapon thats the hard part
i wonder how well this would work with aegirs staff? as a stasis hunter main this build is interesting. ive never thought to use mask of bakris on a shatterdive build. ill have to try this out.
I think stasis crystals got a rework where the source of the crystal provides the benefit upon shatter, same as how Verglas Curve crystal shatters feed back into hail barrage. Does Whisper of Bonds cooldown timer affect all orb creation or just from the fragment?
I’ve been trying this build but with foetracer, instead of using my dodge to get the damage boost I can use all 3 melees or grenade to get the damage boost
