I can’t even imagine how much time it took to set up this auction. Those bottles are amazing. I love watching you tuck the stuff you like in the bottom of a box. Nice that you & Taco Stacks went to this one together. You have such different views of the same auction. Love seeing these from two different perspectives. Thank you both for taking us along.
The company had been working on cleaning/sorting/digging through the barn since this past fall. I'd say that I wish I could have helped, but I wouldn't have gotten much work done cause I would have been too busy looking at all of the treasures!
@@PaperandMoose Renee, i certainly hope that you take some time to go thru all those boxes that Taco purchased as he will most likely miss some treasures that you will find.
I didn't even realize y'all were at the same auction, your views are so different, lol! Awesome sauce! Always good to have friends with opposite views, but loving the same things, picking, auctions and antiques. Great video. really enjoyed the commentary the best! 💚🌿🌺 As always, thank you for sharing and Stay Blessed!
I remember when you were bottle hunting with Taco Stacks on his channel years ago! Before you had your channel...glad you both are still around sharing your adventures! ~Betsy
Congratulations on the Beatles wallet box and various other items like bottle openers and buttons etc. Im jealous! Cant wait to see some from that box! 😍
What an amazing auction!!! Priceless treasures and great that you and Taco Stacks got to share this together. It's always more fun to go with someone else. Love that you shared ❤ the hunt with us and the video was awesome 👌
The key word here is "fun"! Definitely enjoyed all the old sometimes even rusty treasures. Amazing bottles in all sorts of sizes, shapes, and colors. Glad you teamed up with Taco Stacks. Amazing to see that you two are at the same auction but with totally differing perspectives!! Stay safe. 🥰🥰
Thank you for sharing, seeing the same auction, from two different views was amazing, neat to see what each one gravitates to. Always wonderful to see you and Taco stacks together ☺️.
I go to a lot of auctions and found that it is very true that people go through the boxes and move things. The helpers to it too! You do have to watch as they auction it to be sure what you want is still there.
Oh, I love old journals! I'm really enjoying this auction, but the best part is the green grass! I need to see dirt and grass again! I see lots of kids books that I used to have.
I know you like the army colours, but you are too beautiful to be dressed for combat.🤗🤗The black and grey jacket looks wonderful. The pink swear shirtnis a lovely colour on you and the blue cap.
So wish we had these auctions....sooooo many cool items..........Your are correct....point and buy!!!! Great score...can't wait to see what else you got!
Hi Renee. I can not believe you got what you got from the Auction. So glad Taco Stack was with you at this Auction as well. God Bless you Renee. See you in the next video. Stay safe. Maria. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😇😇😇😇❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😇😇😇🌹🌹🌹🌹👍👍
How exciting love seeing you and Taco together I remember watching you and him bottle digging a couple of years ago at the start of your journey on you tube loved your excitement can t wait to see part two ! 🇬🇧😄❤️
So happy hearing the excitement in your voice at the end as you wrap up the day. I remember you making the leap from your previous job to this and I hope you’re making much more $$$ now doing what you love with the picking and RU-vid.
How fun and exciting this video was! I hope we get to go through every little piece of somethens somethens in that one box with you. I love those boxes. I'm so glad you had a great time. You looked so cute too! ❤️😘💞💞💞💞💞🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🌞🌞🌞🐦🐦🐦🐦🐦✌️👶
That barn was filled with the treasures and over 10 dumpsters full of garbage. Stuff was piled so high they couldn't even walk into the barn when they first started the process of getting this estate ready for the auction!
I like to shop at the end of rummage sales. I usually get bags of junk jewelry, odd yarn, and broken toys for crafts. I like to watch you pick through the boxes of rusty junk. Tina, Al's wife
In the Christmas room there was that roll that looked like red brick. We used to have one of those and every year my parents would put it up underneath the HUGE garden window we had in the living room. Made us feel like we had a fireplace for our stockings. Telling my age, but that was back in the 60's
Renee, love your jokes & whimsical takes on the contents of those awesome boxes of treasure. I too would have " borrowed the blue aqua ammonia bottle". Great find. Your "covering up" techniques are perfect. You capture the Beatles wallet & the diary. I think we would have fun at auctions together using those "cover up" techniques. I had a great time with laughs as you explore those items. Thanks for reaching for that little blue bottle in the barn. I saw it & was wondering what it contained & where it was from. I loved the blue bottle collection on the table. Now that would be something I would love to purchase. Had fun, laugh, & learn a little today. Thank you! Good luck as you explore in more detail your boxes.
Hi, how can I not subscribe after that….absolutely loved all the boxes, nothing better than buying boxes of stuff, all history all surprising…..deffo need a follow up “ haul “ video …great stuff 🇬🇧
Great finds. You and Taco make a great team. Would love to see more of how you sell your stuff. Yesterday I found small Madame Alexander international dolls. Prob about 10. Excellent shape and in their boxes. I made some ppl mad because I got them. One lady said you could share them. Geesh... there were so many larger ones left.
There are lot of auctions that go all day, but very few that are worth staying at all day, like this one was. The only risky thing about having multiple auctioneers is when you are interested in things in various parts of the property that are being sold by different auctioneers. Did they actually sell those box lots one at a time or did they sell choice box/boxes in the row to the highest bidder and then keep doing that again and again until they are gone, whish is the way I have seen it done most often when there are tons of boxes. You and Taco make a great team, thanks for sharing this fun auction with us!
Funny you said, get your thrills garage sale, thrifting or auction treasure hunting, I just commented on Taco Stacks video commentary that I love thrifting, but haven't gone anywhere or garage sale hunting anywhere in quite a while, and I miss it. I am fiending for it. I love the thrill of watching your videos, and get excited when you go through boxes full of objects. When you were looking through a box, at the auction, saw a Pepsi metal button, oldie but goodie. I grew up and enjoyed the 70's. I love hunting for all treasures. Home goods, cups, dishes, linens, bedding. I need to get on the ball and do away with older stuff I have and get new content. Thanks for the idea! See ya!
United State Air Force is post-WWII - maybe the Korean War? The box lots have good stuff that you can sell on eBay if you want to. You're lucky that you didn't buy too much, or TS would have had to make you walk home with all he had in the van.
Great video, just watched Taco Stacks version and it was good to see the different things that you look at. Love the way you hide things in the boxes!!! I would do the same. Have a relaxing evening after all your hard work. All the best from England
That was amazing! I really need a junk sale to dig through, I'm having withdrawals 😆 I'm so glad you have a few boxes to go through and see what's in there. How cool is that Beatles wallet, I love that it's pink too. Looking forward to Part 2 and seeing what else you scored.
Love a good box full of junk. There are always treasures to be found and it's always so exciting. I started bottle digging in the early 70 in Orlando, FL and met my husband at an antique bottle show here in 1971 and the rest, as they say, is history. I collected embossed medicines for years and those bottles you showed in the barn brought back so many good memories. We had many collections over the years and I still love looking at all the great bottles that have stood the test of time and have a good story to tell. I'm up in PA for 2 weeks and I'll be going to the flea market on Saturday. Unfortunately I won't be here when the rummage sale at Trinity Lutheran in Bethlehem on May 6. One of my favorites. I'm tempted to stay another week just to go. No, not really. My recliner in Florida is calling my name. I hope to find a lot more stuff before I leave for my mall booth. Keep up the videos, they are an inspiration to all us junk/vintage/antique dealers.
Oh my goodness, that was fun! I used to love to get the 25 cent boss, now that ages me don't it? Just going through them was more fun than winning the bid on a high dollar item. It's so much fun to go along with you and Taco! Please be careful and stay safe! ❤❤
When my parents purchased the house I grew up in we dug up several bottles and had them displayed in our kitchen I believe my mom still has them so much fun and a great memory
Looked like a pretty good auction, loved the barn and house too We used to go to lots of auctions like this up in Pennstucky have to be careful that you don’t end up with to much stuff. Oh…I liked your hair!
One more quick thing, I went to a tag sale not long ago. I saw a stack of pictures with a burlesque pic on top (realized later she was naked) Purchased the stack of black and whites for $1.00. Anyway the rest of the pictures were from right after the bombing of Hiroshima. It was an island right off of the coast. There were pictures of people deceased and some other really gruesome photos. Some showed the clean up and building of the U.S. airfield right after. I was pretty shocked. I donated to the Veterans museum.
Wow, what a cool auction! I would have gone crazy there. I don't think I would have been able to figure out what to buy. So much great stuff. You looked and sounded so excited. Delaware 😊
Don’t tell Taco; but I like what you show us more than him! 😂 I just don’t know anything about jars and tools, like him! To be fair, I don’t really know anything about ephemera, either, but I enjoy the other stuff you show us. They sure did have a mish-mash of stuff for auction! Hope you got your hearts content! ✌🏼❤️
Awesome video - awesome auction! I'm glad that you picked up the box lots you were after. That Beatles wallet is a sure winner. The diary looks to be from the early 1920s ... they mentioned Fiume, which was a city and a big deal, around then. I would've been 'lost' around all of those incredible bottles. Yeah, they're great looking to have around the house! I really looking forward to part two!
You look like me at Goodwill, when I left my wallet at home. I hide stuff I want, in places, lol. Pray they are still there when I get back, haha 😄! Great video, fun to watch! 💕🌿
