I gave up on Muck because of durability issues with the uppers wearing out, and switched to Dryshod Max, which are some of the best-made footwear I've ever had. I'd love to see a whole range of these waterproof work/chore boots tested.

@@bryanwilliams6032 I guess that depends on your needs. I've done a lot of farm, construction, and outdoor work, and while rubber boots are convenient to throw on sometimes, they're all basically disposable and not much fun to wear for extended periods.

I’m a plumber in a city and often work in giant mud holes 30’ below the street. This is the first year I went with Muck boots and I couldn’t be happier. Having to stand in mud and water above my ankles through the day was miserable before them and barely noticeable after. I’ll never go without them in my rotation again.

Dude. Bogs boots. Rubber coated neoprene. I found them when my kids were in a Waldorf school here in Chicago. They spent several hours outside every day all through the winter and never had a problem. Horse people also love them.

Goofing around on a wet day, gardening in the yard, moping large work areas, anything that is wet/muddy go with these. Anything really muddy or really wet go with the full-length pair. I always stepped to deep for these to be a good choice when I'm wearing them. Also, the easiest way to dry them is a hot day in direct sunlight. I prefer to tilt them to where the sun can shine into them if they're really soaked. I'm to cheap for a boot dryer. 😂

I have Muck Muckster II Garden Boot - similar to the one shown. I love them - most comfortable boot for the cool wet seasons . They keep my feet warm enough in winter with good traction in snow. My feet don't get too hot in the other cool part of spring and fall. Best of all is they slide on and off very easily which is great when you are in and out of the house a lot. My first pair lasted two years - still were okay but the bottoms showed some wear and sidewalls of the uppers were getting worn and not sliding on as easily. They were only sixty bucks on amazon sales so well worth the price.

I was certainly disappointed with my Muckboots, neoprene lined with vibram winter soles full length boots. The heel lining in my right food failed and split within three weeks. I kept getting blisters on the heel and the reason was the neoprene stitching failed. Customer services blamed me for the issue saying I had bought the wrong size. this design has gotten it better than older Muck's, but I still think they will fail where all of them fail...the junction or overlap of the neoprene and the rubber. My wife and I live in Oregon and she is a horse girl that is in the mud all winter, and every Muck lasts a year or so and fails in the same place where the neoprene and rubber overlap. Even if the neoprene is full length, the constant bending at the rubber line causes it to break thru the neoprene. They also aren't THAT great traction in the mud, surprisingly. My duck boots (Schnee's and LL Bean) have better handling, traction and clearing in the mud.
