Yeah, if you do it too fast he changes to a swing, but you can fit 2 hits in, dodge and then mortal blade or 2 hits

There are a few moves in the game that are like that I think on purpose. Even if you properly deflect them you get no plus frames/advantage and the pushback makes it so you’re both back at neutral. For example: the last hit of corrupted monks 5 hit spinning combo, the big overhead leap when you heal, and the spinning raking sweep that goes upwards from her left side which hits you if you only block but don’t deflect. Once you learn to dodge through them you do health damage quicker which makes the posture battle easier too.

You can also stealth kill the 2nd health bar if you jump up on one of the branches. I'd check it on a video if you've never done it before, it has to be done right in a very short timespan.

for me owl (father) was hardest fight in the game. even isshin took fewer tries. Have fun!

@@Heapfaelreally? I first tried him as soon as I beat isshin. Then again, I was still in the isshin zone, so my reactions were boosted like crazy. It took me like 50+ tries for isshin

PS: You definitely DIDN'T cheese her. There's a cheese where you can take two healthbars and only deal with the third one. You did defeat her legit.

I'm commenting while watching of course hehe, the ninja got confused because you got him too far away from his place. This happens with bosses that don't have fixed arenas. If you take them too far away from their starting point their AI fries.

I thought it went well with the fire in owls fight 🔥

@@freakaz1239 (Yes I am replying to a month old comment) For me, I do not agree...inner father is a real fun fight...but he ain't hardest...that honour goes to demon of hatred and isshin ashina. Only reason I would concider inner father harder than owl father is because his fire owl has two different moves, which confuses my brain. While we all have different opinions and are on different skill levels.... because I have never struggled with these fights.. I quite often don't understand how other people struggle so much with them XD.

@@LourdessApekatt yea I understand how people find inner owl relatively easy, but for me the slow timing of his attacks compared to that of geni and isshin tends to throw me off. And while I think people underestimate isshin ashina I don't think he is as hard as some bosses like demon of hatred. I will say however that I do find isshin ashina harder than sword saint

Due to me trying to finish the shura gauntlet several times(succeeded recently), I think Isshin Ashina and Demon of Hatred have a fairly even split on how many times I've died to them. Though I do have to agree with you...demon of hatred is far harder when it comes to difficulty. Also have to agree, why is grandpa, who's literally on his deathbed, able to kick your ass harder than when he supposed to be in like his prime. I struggle so much with his volcanic erruptions and one-mind(perfect parried every single swing of that *ONCE* , don't know how). Though when it comes to the shura ending, I like one aspect of him being harder than sword saint because it's like "you chose the bad ending, now *SUFFER* ".
