Mom doesn't seem to have a problem with her being all grown up , but the best friend seemed shell shocked that the bride chose the dress without her input. The way she said that she would have to choose the dress was really irritating.

It's one of my all time fav dresses on Sytd.

Wear the army clothes....not a dress. Make a dress out of the army clothes

Yes! I thought the opposite though. I assumed that her family/ fiancée was overbearing (maybe mom was a little overbearing but there's been much worse, and she seemed to resign happily.) Knowing that she's been in the military made so much sense. I loved watching her

I thought it was gonna be about a girl with 8 older siblings who only wore hand-me-downs her entire life 😂

Right? I think my mother would have rather seen me in anything BUT a cake-topper dress. She wore one for her wedding because that was the fashion at the time but she would have probably been shocked if I wanted something like that now. Never tried to dress me up as a princess, either.

My mom knew I'm anything but a princess. If she would've tried to get me to wear an excessive ball gown of a wedding dress I would have fought against her no doubt. I picked put my own dress and called her once I found the one I wanted. 21 years later I'm still not a girly princess but very much a lady🙂. I told our girls if they decide to marry and they want to wear tennis shoes and a regular clothing then I'd support them 100%🙂

It's like "Every little girl dreams of a fairytale wedding" or "The most fulfilling job for any woman is being a mom".

I just said the same thing. So many mothers on this show say that, and it's so ridiculous.

Not me. Both my daughters wore non-princess simple dresses. It was their decision to make, not mine.

Poor Mom ??? The woman has an unhealthy attachment/ relationship to her adult daughter. She is supposed to bring her up to have a clear sense of her OWN identity. Love her daughter ?, yes absolutely..guide her ? yes but within limits of her own decision making capabilities, want the best for her ? without question, but decide what she wears ? Absolutely not. Not even on her wedding day is that normal. That was an unhealthy relationship and i pity her future husband. I hope he has a LOT of patience because that Mom clearly doesn't respect boundaries and she is going to be in their business constantly meddling and causing heartache for her daughter who will have to decide whom to side with. 🤦🏼‍♀️

I’ve had a lot of friends that tired to do that with me. We’re no longer friends, and I’m ok with that. Sometimes it’s nice being an introvert.

Well, even though I don't like those kinds of people, to be fair, the appointment started with the bride saying "I don't know what I want" So, I feel that the friends really wanted to help her. 🤷🏻‍♀️

@@kerriethompson2073 Extroverts don’t always have lots of friends too.I am an ambivert and don’t have many friends. In life, I noticed many people don’t have that many close friends. But of course that is even more true introverts.
