Strength is a GAME CHANGER in NBA 2K24. This 6'8 Point Guard build has unlocked a whole new play style for me in The Rec. Most of my builds are small shot creating guards, so strength was never really an attribute I cared much about. But from time to time I would notice the advantages it could provide and I always had the thought to create a build with a high strength attribute just to see what it could do. I finally decided to pull the trigger, and I'm only upset that I waited so long! This build is a walking mismatch and a point guards WORST NIGHTMARE.

I always felt like strength mattered since next gen 21. Whenever I made a guard build I made sure I put strength on em at least a 70 cause majority of guards wanna be quick af and dont put that strength up. But this 2ks strength plays a bigger role than it did previously.

Strength mattered since 20 for sure, I had a 6’5 & 6’6 that were literally able to play big cause I had 99 Strength, High Rebound & Interior D

Been telling ppl arguing strength, especially with finishing… it doesn’t make you finish better, but it def makes it easier to get into the lane/paint to set up your finish. With ppl always complaining about spacing I’m surprised more ppl haven’t caught on… you only got so much space to try to zoom around, playing in rec you gotta be able to go through some ppl some times 😂

In a sense, it does help you finish better though (mainly through contact) because Fearless Finisher is tied to your Strength. 💯💪

@@ThinkingCap_ lol, I feel ya, but there’s a diff when you go against some one who got any kind of interior and positions themself properly, they will make you miss. Especially if you don’t have the height advantage, might be able to pull it off on a tall A PF, but I wouldn’t tell everyone running a small guard “you don’t need layup attribute” 😭

New to REC this year. Thanks for thus build. I made adjustments to it. I been a nightmare inside against guards. When we need a bucket and my teammates are down for me to post up. We get the bucket. They either double which I kick out to shooters, or give up the 2. It's too big and strong for guards but too fast for bigs. Went from 13ppg with floor spacing slasher to 18ppg and better efficiency in th rec. Most times I play with randoms. Mah homie showed me this and I had to do it. Good lookin out.

You can drop the weight two pounds and drop the wingspan by one inch and get silver agent threes and a 93 perimeter for gold clamps. Either way you go you can't go wrong with the build he provided, it's got crazy potential in all areas. Dime we appreciate the hard work bru, for real 💯.

This build looks super fun and well-rounded, truly nice for REC. Really enjoyed the gameplay part. Would be dope to see you make a build specifically for 1v1. Fun mode. Lots of room for creativity, very different matchups, a triple threat situation on every play, forces you to play good defense as you can only rely on yourself, no one else to blame if you sell the bag. You'd bring a different flavor than most 1v1 vids out there.

Good build it’s crazy folks just now starting the tall guard wave , my first build was a 6,8 2 way point forward with 84 strength and 77 mid 76 three. All my stats are like 90 on defense 72 steal 70 def board 87 block 61 int for bronze anchor and high passing 90, 92 post control. 78 and 70 lay and dunk. My first build was good. Lasted all patches still play on it.

I made a 6'8 SF as my 2nd build. I've yet to use him online because he's currently an 88 OVR, but it's wild how many attributes you get when you go from 93 Ball Handle to 85. It gets the same Shooting stats (72 Mid, 86 3pt) and better Finishing (87 Dunk on my 6'6; 90 on my 6'8) than my 6'6 SG but also gets 92 Strength and 84 Post Control just because I didn't get a 93 Ball Handle. This gave me a shit ton of badges

Having the taller, stronger guards with post control and passing makes bigs frustrated. They can't just jump at you, can't let you shoot the middy, and can get bullied by you. I just remade my stronger PG with post control. Gotta make a vid but this is similar

I think this is an awesome build. I copied everything but was able to get Driving Layup to a 94 and post C to a 95 by lowering the interior D and Block and O board. Let me know if you think that’s a mistake, or if you think that’s a smart move

I jus made damn near the same build lol except I have 86 close shot and 85 driving lay.. I wanted gold masher and gold fearless and silver fast twitch... I also only went with a 84 strength still get hof physical handles but I put them point on my perimeter..94 perimeter and 72 steal and even a 60 offensive rebound and 49 defense

Have a 6’8 build as well. 86 close,91 lay,92 post(gold unpluck),95 mid,97 free, 96 pass,85 handle,76 speed w ball, 91 perimeter, 81speed 73 acc ,96 strength and max stamina. Elite at scoring. 59 3pt + 1 with the sleeve when you activate takeover that’s all you need
