Nice video Joe! Love all the set up videos you’ve done they’re great, I’m still using a R10 but really want to use my rapsodo but I am waiting until the Rapsodo is sorted out with chipping and pc Bluetooth connector so I don’t have to use screen mirroring it’s just going to gather dust for the time being. But all your videos have helped me set up both devices so thanks a lot bud.

Thanks so much for the kind comment! Yeah I really thought Rapsodo would have sorted the chipping with a firmware by now... it's been a while. I have my fingers crossed for a direct connect..... but I don't know if it will happen. I know springbok has reached out to Rapsodo but I doubt they will help him out and I don't know why because it would only mean more units would be sold. Maybe when they release the e6 PC connection they might be able to tap into that and somehow do a direct connection. 🤞🤞 The R10 is still a SOLID little unit!

I totally agree mate! If these companies just realised this potential... they should be getting springbok on the pay roll! This set up legitimately is as accurate if not more than my Uneekor Eye Mini and GC2... now obviously you're connecting to multiple devices through a 3rd party connector so there are going to be issues that arise and disconnects.. but when it works.... WOW ITS AMAZING!

Been binge watching your channel having got the funds for my garden set up recently. Been really helpful and last week ordered my setup. Now got the MLM2Pro, Exputt is ordered being delivered next week. I commented on another of your videos that i wasnt sure i can use GSpro as my setup is macbook pro and/or ipad, and all the setup tutorials i have seen are windows. So if i have just an ipdad on a stand with the Rapsodo app, and/or a macbook pro, can i use this GSpro tool? Im still new to all this, have a 5.6hc and am really trying this year to hit 3hc hence the practice setup but i am lost with all the options. I thought initially all i needed was the launch monitor, now i have to work out whether GSpro, awesome golf, or E6 is the way to go, having never heard of any of them until last week! GSpro looks like the best but most complicated option…my brain hurts!

Unfortunately not as the Dev doesn't have an r10. It would be up to the R10 developer to write this into the code somehow. Especially because you can't have two connections going into GS Pro. So the R10 for instance connects up using the Bluetooth connector or the e6 work around. You couldn't run this application alongside it because GS Pro only allows one connection. So you would have to make a whole new connector and use the same screen shot technique that is being used for the Rapsodo connector. I've spoken to Springbok about this.. not for the foreseeable future as it's a LOT of work.

Thanks for asking. Easiest would probably by to get a ML.M2Pro but don't want to pay for the subscription. Hopefully someone will create the connector. Seems awesome.

Unfortunately not mate this whole connector is designed to hook up to GS Pro using their open API connector. E6 doesn't allow this.

Unfortunately no not right now as the mevo uses a different connector. It could absolutely work but you would need the developer to create it or add it as a launch monitor. I know he is working on the R10 one for R10 owners.. he's a good guy and isn't getting anything for it unless people actually donate to him.

possible with gc2 too? putting on the gc2 sometimes really ugly so would be great xtra option for just putting. thank ya.

Unfortunately not as the connector if for the Rapsodo and the GC2 has the Bluetooth connector direct to the PC. I have found with my GC2 the putting isn't too bad as the GS Pro algorithm where is massages the HLA within 20 feet makes it pretty much the same as using my new Uneekor Eye Mini. I know what you mean though... Sometimes I'd see 3 degrees left or right on those shorter putts with the GC2.

Thanks! Exactly the addition I was looking for to add to the MLM. Have you had issues with the tracer showing on the MLM? It worked for me once and never again.

Hey John it is a seriously good set up… definitely able to compete and play serious and fun sim golf. So the tracer showed indoors early on and was a bug it wasn’t supposed to ever show indoors only outdoors. Cheers

Hey Joe, Thanks for the great content. You've helped a ton with my getting GS Pro up and running. I've been using Ex Putt and MLM2PRO to play GS Pro. My longer putts 30 feet plus tend not to register. Any suggestions?

Thanks mate! That is very strange because the exputt can definitely do longer putts than that. Is the data coming up on the exputt screen? How have you got the exputt set up? Potentially put it out to a 60 footer in the exputt world. The other thing to try is potentially more light for the exputt.

I tried more light. The EX Putt is still not recording longer putts. The highest ball speed I can get the EX Putt to record is 7.7 mph. This ball speed results in a really long putt in the EX Putt virtual world but not necessarily in the land of GS Pro where I can easily leave a putt short or way short depending on the length and slope. I am working with EX Putt customer service and so no need for you to follow up on this unless you are interested in doing so. If I cannot find a solution with EX Putt, I'll need to set up webcam putting or buy an Eye Mini Lite once Uneekor has fixed the side spin problem :-). @@JLagGOLF

Wow, 3 weeks late- Rapsodo went back and EyeMini is here. Reasons I am still fine with my decision… - BIGGEST is space - Impact image, Rapsodo was the best until EyeMini - Integrated simplicity & support. Although these connectors are not awful - Mobility EyeMini can go to course practice green & range, but the Rapsodo was better on the range except for alignment . - in my environment I believe the Rapsodo was not as accurate - Refine over anything other than GSPro until I can run it. - Chipping is nothing more than a promise on Rapsodo and aligning it was/is an issue - Biggest CON, the price when not on sale

Yeah I agree with all of that! I think both units will just keep betting better and better. I am surprised that Rapsodo hasn't released the firmware update to improve chipping. Surely it can't be too far away!!

@@JLagGOLF I am starting to wonder if it is as much of physical problem as it is a firmware problem, like, maybe the angle of the impact vision camera and the swing camera have a gap that prevents it from being used for chipping. I guess time will tell to me it feels like they know there is a problem and they are selling around it. I hope they prove me wrong because in so many ways I liked it better than the Garmin.

@@OMG-2Yeah it's taking quite a long time.... I really think it should be able to be fixed. Looking at that video I made where it literally clips the video it's almost like they just need to extend the impact vision camera to allow the unit to capture a bit more data. I guess then how will that affect the driver and irons. It would all have flow on effects!

Building sim room, alienware w 4090 output to lk936st. Have mlm2pro and love at range. Ordered exputt and want to setup like this. ? Will better Ipad decrease lagtime from hit to screen rendering? Last item I need to order is Ipad, which will be nice at range as Iphone is a touch small to read w my old eyes. Huge thanks, love your videos

Thanks mate I really appreciate that! So unfortunately not I have an iPad pro that has an M1 chip in it so it's a beast. The delay comes from the actual screen mirroring and the way the connector works. This connector works by taking a screenshot of the information on the airplay screen. So from the moment you hit the connector will snap a screenshot of the data and then send the info to GS Pro to use.. I had a round today and the airplay was being a bit slow and not updating so there was a bit more of a delay.. unfortunately this is just a limitation at the moment with this style of connector.. I know springbok is still chasing a way direct connect and if that happens then we will definitely see an improvement in latency.

Joe my Rapsodo is garbage.It just won’t stay connected and as far as using E 6 forget it. I’m so pissed off im gonna try and return it.I put my iPhone right by it and connect and within minutes it’s telling me it’s been disconnected and to try and reconnect.I’m at my wits end so any help would be appreciated.My data is up to date as when I troubleshoot it asks me to upload latest data which I do.Still the same.Help lol

Hey William which connection method are you using? The two things that worked for me is to use my hot spot and use my pixel phone.. so connect everything up to that as your "home wifi". The other thing that worked and I just did a video on this is I bought a wifi extender and hooked everything up to that and I haven't had a single disconnect on the wifi connection. I was seriously having issues with my connection until I did this. I definitely feel you mate I was sooooo frustrated with mine. I haven't tried to play e6 with the wifi extender yet.. not sure if that will help. To me the connection method they are using doesn't seem stable. If feels like they are so concerned with keeping it behind the paywall it's too secure and it's not a stable connection. I'll keep people updated if this new connection method makes the e6 connection more stable!

Purchased MLM and about to build simulator. Love the MLM so far outside and only concern inside is delay between hit and simulation. Do you think this delay will be decreased with time or is it a function on hardware? This is where bushnell launch monitor or gc3 or quad has an advantage in simulation play so far

Yeah I completely agree and it's on my list in the cons column. Unfortunately because we don't have a direct connection the way it works is that the software is essentially taking a screenshot of the data after each shot. Because of this there will always be a little delay... luckily it isn't too bad not as bad as the skytrak delay 🤣. I do notice a big difference when I go from using it to my Uneekor eye mini or GC2.

Yeah this would absolutely be able to be done with the SC4 the thing is you are going to need to convince the developer to create it.. the reason the MLM2PRO is done is because the Dev uses it and the ex putt.

When I bought mine they were available on golf box! But I ended up buying it second hand as it was a bit cheaper. I've just seen they are out of stock now on golf box. Hopefully you can grab one second hand 🤞🤞 or maybe eBay?

Bought mine from ExPutt directly, was in my hands in less than a week. The AUD/USD exchange rate is a killer at the moment, got mine for US$469 from memory.

Could use it if you can mirror the app to extract the metrics, I’d have to add the R10 direct connection code for full r10 support, I don’t own an r10 so not likely.

Like Springbok said it is possible to do however it would need someone to do all the work that owns the unit. The Garmin R10 would be great to use with the exputt but tbh even Alex putting software with the webcam is great once you have it set up and dialed in.

With the mlm2pro and using gspro do you still need to use rapsodo subscription too?

Unfortunately yes you need the Rapsodo subscription because you need to use the Rapsodo range to get the spin axis and calculated spin. So you will be paying the GS Pro subscription and the Rapsodo subscription each year. Cheers

Absolutely however you will need to convince the developer to add it or create a new connector that has it built in. The reason this is so good and working with the MLM2PRO is because the developer has both of these units. The mevo plus and exputt would be a fantastic combo! Tbh I think the ex putt is going to be better than any of the launch monitors putting! It's a fantastic unit.

Honestly, does rapsodo sponsor you or pay you? Not believing because I tried two of them and the distances were less accurate then the garmin or the swing caddie 3i. I loved what it did but it wasn’t consistent or accurate for me anyway. Neither were.

I've bought all these units with my own money and give my honest opinions about all of them. I'm just a passionate user and love Sim golf. I have absolutely slayed the Rapsodo in videos early on 🤣 so I was surprised when they asked me if I wanted an affiliate link. I honestly believe the Rapsodo has come a long way since its release and now believe it's the most accurate sub $1000 unit on the market.

@@JLagGOLF even with wood distances? Your driver , 3 wood etc are correct? I tried it less than a month ago and we have a 275 par 4 that I drive and that data showed 222 carry and I carried the green. Not a monster hitter here but I am in my early 40’s and a pretty good ball striker. Like I said the irons were spot on, woods were off terribly. I really want this to work but I have tried 2 and ended up with the same results.

You would be surprised.. I think only a handful have donated out of the hundreds that have downloaded. Not that Springbok did it for that he is just a good guy and has helped the community with this awesome connector.
