This Chevy Trax is spraying coolant all over the place!! 

I literally have the same car/color. I’m having a small leak in that area too. I assumed that was the thermostat. Thanks for showing me what I’m about to get my hands into. 😅

Do be aware that a number of parts company's do make an upgraded Aluminium Thermostat housing for the Chevy Trax

Is it possible that my Trax is just leaking coolant from the thermostat housing and that the waterpump is still good? Thanks.

How did you take off the intake line to get to the top bolt?

I have a hole in the rubber hose that has that yellow tag around it connecting to the engine in the back what is that called?

Could you or someone please tell me what hose connects under the coolant resovior

The design of cars is unbelievably bad and getting worse being practically impossible to service properly . I know the manufacturer does it on purpose to extort as much money as possible from the poor customer so there should be a law against the practice
