I really see the introduction of Chinese cars to Europe as a real awakening to the customers how badly they got scammed all the years from „traditional“ carmakers i really hope the disrupt the market and shake the rust off! I am really open and many friends in Austria are as well especially with low maintenance electric vehicles!

Stellantis made a fantastic decision by cooperating with Leapmotor; Stellantis has access to excellent tech and Leapmotor has an easier time in Western markets. The C10 is impressive as typical, but it is great value! Thanks for the review, Harris.

The facts are different from what you said. Leapmotor will be solely responsible for vehicle manufacturing, while Stellantis will be responsible for sales.

Vert pleased the alliance between Stellantis and Leapmotor finale comes to a concrete offre on EU marketing. Surely it will be an hit, especially if well branded. Personally i would prefer the C11 but we cant always get what we want.

Stellantis made smart move , better join with China proven technology and brand, rather start from scratch to design and research their own EV, it will take more years to realise and does not guarantee will be successful and could be over run the budget.

I could not find solid information about the charging power after a quick search. The battery size is 70kWh so I would like to see 200kW, especially because the platform the C10 is based on is generally designed as an 800V architecture. Does the C10 use the full 800V system or did they cut that down to 400V? 175kW would be the minimum I could accept for a 70kWh battery in 2024/2025 for a mid-size SUV, which will most likely cost around €33000 in Europe and has around 410-430km WLTP range (which is not that good). That would be C charge rate of 2.5C. I really wish faster charging speeds would come down to the affordable class of EVs. For comparision: The Renault 5, a sub-compact car of under 4 meters of length, is rumored to charge with up to 130kW in the bigger 54kWh net battery, which could be 57kWh total capacity(?), configuration. That would be a 2.3C charge rate. The car will cost maybe €29000 with this bigger battery and has up to 400km WLTP range. Final reveal of the vehicle will be next month. This shows what is already possible in a very tiny, but arguably still expensive for the size, car.

The max charge rate is 80kw, still 400v architecture, maybe cost reason, the price in china is under CNY 150k, and 800v is ofter used for cars pricing above CNY 200k

Lack of physical button is badly not convenient, especially for the side mirror operation and auto hold switch.

I have a feeling this will be or will underpin the about to be released $25K Jeep for the US market... I can't see its spec's being much more than this for that price point...

Very very bad compared to the Xpeng G9 or the Xpeng G6! The X9 is something totally different, much better!

Even the Xpeng G6 is already in a different price class and can't be compared. The X9 cost more than double than the C10
