this song, when I listened to it last year, helped me through a lot of shit. during December of last year my parents were going through a divorce, my Internet friend had passed away, and I lost a lot of my real friends, and I just was in a super dark place. this song I could relate to, and it helped me so much. now I'm going back to this video and crying :( but thank you shane. this video helped me sooooo sooooo much.

it hurts to see the youtuber i grew up with getting 'cancelled'... i thought everyone was aware of the things he'd done in the past. his edgy humour, the innapropriate comments. he liked to shock people with the content he created, and things were so much different back then... everyone else found it funny and entertaining so shane did as well. hes just unfortunately in the big spotlight. he's learned from this, though.. he realizes what he had done in the past was bad and he did take action. he apologized several times... it's like popular creators arent allowed to have a single flaw. god. imagine having a mistake you made in the past hanging over your head at all times and people beating you up over it even though you've changed as a person for the better. i hate cancel culture. i believe that shane is a good guy, and this entire situation is absurd.
