A referral is a good touch to build up credibility and reason for your prospect to read your email. Chances are, there are a lot of people reaching out to your prospect so you have pull out a trick or two to stand out. Great video, btw!

Age doesn't matter. Do some work for free/cheap to get some testimonials. Get referrals from these folks too. Start to specialise as soon as possible. It makes your value prop a lot easier to communicate in sales and marketing. Good luck!
