It feels like you didnt showcase any of the benefits of the controller. Everything from gyro sensitivity to yaw and pitch can be fine tuned. The triggers are two stage that can also be fine tuned. Not to mention the track pads and mode shifts. There is so much potential of this controller. Ive been using mine for almost a year and barely use the analog stick. I think you did it a disservice.
I understand where you are coming from. I'm sorry you feel that way. By no means was this a 'comprehensive deep dive.' The controller is neat indeed, but for my usage and from a plug and play form factor it just doesn't tailor to a wide audience. I wanted to showcase that. I got mine when it was at $5 clearence. Yeah, the ABXY buttons are badly placed. I can reach them, but I do notice my joint for my thumb gets sore. If they swapped the ABXY with the right touch pad, it may have been much more sucessful.
You just couldn't really set it up. I think the main two problems with this gamepad are the unfortunate ergonomics for certain types of people (lucky me) and the difficulty in customising it for different games. You have to know how to customise it, and a lot of people either just can't do it, using settings from the community where someone else has customised it, or they do customise it, but they try to do it quickly, and so it doesn't work out too well. When I first bought this gamepad - I spent 4 hours learning the variations from the community, and the possibilities of all the customisations in Steam UI, and then spent another 2-3 hours developing a templates for all the genres of games I was interested in. Now I always use one of my templates and modify it for the new game I buy. I hardly ever use standard (predefined for the game) or community customisations.

This controller was developed with SHooters in mind, why do you think it has a touch pad.......Looks like you test it in wrong game, you should try BLACK instead.
