The cinematography in this video is INSANE! Unless you held this watch in your hand, in person, you would never see the detail of a minute repeater at work like you did here.

For anyone still not convinced: Google how much any minute repeater from Patek Philippe is and compare the their specs with the ones of this watch and you will understand.

What has me taken here, is that it's clearly a mechanically focussed piece, a way for Jaeger to show off how superb their work can be, but it is achingly beautiful too. Some of the show-off pieces from Pattek look gaudy and in some ways ugly compared to their reserved and classy usual work.

Not familiar with JLC??? Watchfinder, you should know your viewers better! We love JLC as much as we love your channel!

High watchmaking not always admired if you not loved by the mass of connaisseurs. JLC is something like a fifth wheel on a car, which lay in the trunk. They can produce the best watches without getting the gold medal from the public. A simply good mechanical watch which is affordable is also a piece of art. Why should you buy a watch if you can buy houses for an investment? The rent will open opportunities to start up to collect Patek Philippe watches. So if you want a great watch, i think Omega is the choice. What it makes the complete partner is that everything match the game. Co-axial, top case material, reliable for many years to come. But are you in love with JLC, ignore me and buy your JLC of dreams.

I wonder if there is a video of a Tag Heuer Formula One Chronograph from the series with the 'Official Timekeeper of the FIA F1 World Championship' stamped on the caseback. I hear the quartz movements in those are far superior than those found in the current F1 model series.

It's astonishing how JLC is not as appreciated as other brands, i.e Rolex. The amount of achievements that they have is unbelievable. And their level of detail is second to none. I wish I had the money to buy this and other JLC watches; they're in the pinnacle of watchmaking IMO.

Please do a video on the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Grande Tradition Westminster Perpetuel. It's a masterpiece.

I'm posting this again using a different account to see how long it lasts before it's removed/shadow blocked by Watchfinder & Co. Jaeger-LeCoultre is one of the finest, if not the finest, movement designer in the world BUT IMO they are not the finest when it comes to finish at least not on this particular piece. 1:26 and 2:39 The silkscreen print logo on the crystal has imperfections below the C on the line connecting the J and C. 1:43 The top left balance bridge Côtes de Genève spills over onto the anglage. You can see the rough edges and metal burrs over the edge of the chamfer. 2:20 Below the last e on the case back logo engraving is a scratch/nick to the right of the line connecting the J and C. The nick to me looks like it was made with an engraving tool the way it skids from the engrave towards a V shaped nick. 4:26 More nicks scratches etc on the miroir ou bloqué wheel train bridge top right. 7:42 The number 8 has sections of the print missing on the top left. I could go on but all I can say is the finish in not that of a Romain Gautheir or a Philippe Dufour. I can hear those of you claiming I'm being to critical and to that all I can say is this watch costs OVER A QUARTER OF A MILLION US DOLLARS and perfection should be assumed. What also can be assumed is that this particular piece was a bargain for Watchfinder and Co. because they most probably acquired it as a factory reject and/or was used as a demonstration piece thus disassembled multiple times for training purposes.

The production cost of this watch is $6k. For example a $30k Rolex has a production cost of $ 2k and a $ 6k Rolex has a production cost of $0.3K . Best watches quality /price are Orient, Orient star, Seiko , citizen, Certina , Bulova, Invicta(too big). Swiss watches are A RIP OFF. Too Overpriced. I have a Longines Hidroconquest and conquest heritage.(present from my wife) Rolex day data gold.(present from my Father). Cartier(tank) ( present from my wife). But i wear every day my Seiko 5 and my orient. I love my orient watch.

Fun fact: this video idea was finished completely about 6 months ago. It took everyone that long to finally decide how to pronounce JLC

fyi, OLED from LG are made out of luminescence powder made in germany. LG was hellbend to make the contract with Merck to secure it's market position. Any manufacturer could have made the displays but only one company can make the powder. Credit where credit is due.
