In my school vr game, Dinobot II was a part of a school vote for a boss fight against as Goalius, Megatron, and Optimus prime (the vote had Megatronia, Dinobot II, Iaconus and Prime Predaking but ultimately Megatronia won with Dinobot II in second place)
Was about to ask about this, prior to this here I haven't heard of them doing any product with original engineering, it was AFAIK always oversize KOs with minor paintjob and/or articulation changes.
Infinite Transformation & Transform Element were both Black Mamba. So is/was Aoyi Mech. (Transform Element largely had original engineering as they did their own Masterpiece scale figures)
I love the crying in the slowed and reverbed music of the transformation. I think the reason it's over $100 is that even the creator was like "fuck it, not my problem anymore, pay me for this frustration of a figure." That being said, I really wish we got a new mainline official figure.
I honestly wonder if Jobby has been asked to voice Dinobot in any stop motion transformers series, I still remember how he asked that back when Optimus was trying to contain the ch*na virus, had to edit it because of RU-vid
Don’t own the toy but say a YT video about I think a die cast optimus prime from the first micheal bay movies. The transformation took 25 min of limited editing to change from robot to vehicle.
Just by seeing how the transformation went, kind of reminded me of a certain Megatron figure you reviewed a while back...that we don't mention for the sake of memory. Still, hope ya have a wonderful Halloween 🎃
I can't believe he didn't reference Gladius. I'd thought he'd DEEM it Bold Forms Gladius 2.0 by the end, but I guess he really just liked the sculpt that much. Hence the 3/5
The fact that jobby has been in my childhood says a lot about my personality while watching said videos, jobby your influence is far too strong. But seriously love seeing these reviews and I do base my decisions on them, so far it’s been great so far but this toy… not so much on greatness due to the transformation, had to watch your video just to see what to do or maybe I’m just slow Edit: seriously man, thank you for being in my childhood. You get a good look at Dinobot 2s back in that episode where he's playing cat and mouse with Blackarachnia. The figure is very accurate in details just...damn that transformation.
Beautifully done dinobot figure. They have just nailed. But when it comes to transformation... Oh God, the Devil Saviour Split just feels like pure gold

The production, length, and quality has definitely improved obviously, which is why I’m so happy you’re still doing what you do
I haven't seen Jobby tweek this hard since split and the triple changing Megatron, thank you for doing these reviews for us despite transforming them being a pain in that ass at times
a long time ago I went into the BOWELS of this YT channel on a mission to watch EVERY. Single. One. of these reviews. So honestly, seeing the jumpscare at 12:40 my reaction was more just, "... Yeah, seems like the natural progression of things." 11/10 best Descent into Madness journey I've been on yet.
Something I noticed with the chrome shoulder pieces is that they’re actually made of transparent plastic, which is notoriously more brittle than opaque plastic. But it’s also cheaper, (probably why they went with it).
Watching the transformation I thought to myself “I wonder if Mangmotion even liked this.” And as I thought that, I then thought “Haven’t I been in this exact same scenario before?” But then again, this video is new. And then on top of that, I thought “Haven’t I questioned this apparent memory before, too?” So thank you Jobby, for giving me a case of double Deja Vu.
The music slowing down had me rolling dood..... to be fair, I am two bowls in already. I am easily entertained is what I am getting at, you did an amazing job keeping my ADD brain from wonder......
Good God this is the first time I am feeling the *pain & frustration* during the transformation part of the toy. Kudos to you Jobby for keeping your sanity with this figure.
