I don't think it was a mask off moment or jealousy or done with intent rooted in greed. I think it's a combination two things. First, he's still holding onto the hope that everyone can like each other and be nice . Tectone is not nice, and Mtashed's fatherly nature is trying desperately to get a man who doesn't want to improve himself to improve. And second, he's burnt tf out and very lost. He's recently moved, had a new baby, had new diagnosis with new meds for his mental health, he went viral for a game genre that wasn't really for him and is seriously struggling to find a way to pivot without throwing away what he built. I agree this was very disappointing to see, and I hope they can handle it privately.

I disagree with your opinion on Mtashed. DAYS BEFORE, Tectone said on stream, in a very mean way that Mtashed is miserable in every area of his life, and most importantly his career (direct quote). This is just so wrong imo. Tectone throws a lot of cheap chots every single time. This was boind to happen. First, Gacha smack, then Hex (as much as she never wants to admit it) the way he talked on stream to Iyo (and I quote: you should get your head out your fucking ass). Even Smack said to tectone ("don't be surprised if Iyo burns the briddge between you two someday, because of the way you talk") There's a pattern, and that can't be defended. I agree with you especially the first 5mins to a certain extent but everybody keeps assuming that they were friends. here's something that might blow your mind, friends sometimes have heated arguments that doesn't mean they aren't friends anymore. I am a viewer of all three and there's a few things that stood out to me 1) Tectone title of his stream about how he abuses women, making it seem like Mtashed said that about him which he never did. This is an example of exactly what Mtashed was saying 2) Tectone calling things weird when he had no argument 3) Tectone only cared about looking good, not listening to Mtashed or Hex. I didn’t even know about any of the drama until I watched this video, I was busy walking around my neighborhood for the whole day while occasionally talking to a content creator about the state of Triple A gaming and the rise of Indie Gaming. The internet really is amazing, and that conversation was really insightful too. Bucketzzz is his channel name, really awesome dude and awesome content.
Was Tectone a dick when arguing with Hex ? Yes, they both saw it and he apologized to her afterward (and explained themselves calmly in private). But using this situation against Tectone when Hex herself told him she did not want to be used for that purpose can't be seen as a good move from Mtashed :/

I've emphasized with mtashed since day 1 of genshin and seeing him cry on camera made me want to stick with the guy. I believe the core of the problem is that Tec is not willing to take responsibility (for his speech) that comes after being a massive influencer. His inability to understand others and his (classic but wrong) debating techniques make him twist others' words, construct false/dilutional narratives and make his viewers believe the other person is stupid/immoral when in reality the other person has a point and Tec himself does not have a superior opinion. When he takes the dilutional W which is based on his arguing techniques, it just affects the whole narrative in the community. Their first interactions way back in Genshin were confrontational even. They "made up" but sometimes people adopt a "forgive but don't forget" mentality. Could it be jealousy? It's possible. Especially from two business men of their level. People come together for mutual investments all the time, and as a COO of a company myself who sees all kinds of wacky deals, my number 1 reservation is to never assume a partnership to be anything more than a partnership. I've dealt with entirely rival companies coming together for joint ventures. tl;dr a partnership doesn't mean as much as you probably think it does. Not to mention you can catch any old court show with business partners standing on opposite sides. A partnership doesn't mean things are going great, and it certainly doesn't necessarily indicate friendship.
Honestly, the "You gotta experience the game fully to conclude if its bad" argument is pretty weak. If a game puts you through tens-hundreds of hours of boredom before it finally gets somewhere that can be considered decent then it failed the drawing you in aspect and its perfectly valid to conclude that its a bad game as a result.

I am a Tectone fan, watch his stream everyday and even join His Twitter Community but after this incident and seeing all the YES-MAN, I will part ways with him and his community. This VxV guy acts as if Asmon were the JUDGE of everything. I watched Asmon's VOD and he himself admitted what he said was ALL ASSUMPTION and he didnt even know the CONTEXT. Asmon just took his OWN Experience of having shade thrown on him from others with small size and GENERALIZED everything similar to it.
This might be one of your horrible takes. Many unfair takes towards mtash. True that he may have been terrible specially on the hex part, but you cannot deny the points that he made because it actually makes sense. It's sad that you just reduce someone a "white knight" even when they make good points.
Now back to the drama. MTashed noticed that Tec has done this many times, and when he did the vod review, he found that he is now doing the thing to a friend (instead of an "enemy"). He saw that Tec was willing to use the arguing techniques on a frustrated friend on stream just to take a W, and he couldn't take it anymore. So he goes off on stream when Tec is asleep (which is being a very bad friend.) At this point, he already realized that the friendship was not sustainable and was about to be over (due to him acting emotionally). (tbh both of them believed they were never close, and Tashed was now ready to quit the friendship.) So he texted Tec to confront him (which he later claims to be rage-baiting). I believe this is not actually a "test of friendship", it was just Mtashed acting out of emotion before he thought about the proper approach. He just wanted another confirmation that his decision to quit was correct. So the next day, after receiving the confirmation. MTashed did a real rage bate and got onto a call with Tec and tried to confront him on the aspects he cannot bear, which includes his arguing techniques (straw-manning, twisting narrative etc.), his inability to sympathize (applying techniques to take the W against a frustrated friend on stream)(which caused MTashed to believe he did that debate on stream to get views) and being a net negative to the community(making the community more toxic). Tec has never changed in this drama, he is still the guy who is willing to get his W regardless of the costs to fill his narcissism. And the costs are why his narcissism hurts many other ppl. Hex has too many masks to turn on against different ppl. I think it is fair for MTashed to think of her as a snake as she seemed inconsistent when facing different people. Hopefully, she can handle all the relations successfully(in a healthy way) in the future. MTashed was too emotional, and he acted out of emotion before thinking things through and finding the best way to handle things. It was the same situation when he was doom-posting about the CC server and stuff. He is not a Gacha player by heart, he prob likes MMOs more. It was the right decision for him to make content on things he liked. Hopefully, he can fix the problem and act more professionally in the future. At last, I want to show my experience so you can decide that parts of my words are biased. I was in the MTashed stream a little after he started reacting and left after he texted Tec. Hex seemed fine with MTashed talking about the situation most of the time and chat mostly agreed with MTashed. Personally, I don't like Tec as a person; I don't like MTashed content; and I dislike Hex takes as they are too nuclear(and many times I disagree). I guess I'm just a hater then, take it as you wish.

Based on watching the entire Tash vs Tec call. I think Tashed just straight up doesn’t like Tec as a person and he wanted to “test” him to confirm his feelings. I think Tectone liked Mtashed a lot but was starting to realize that Mtashed didn’t like him but he was in denial about it until Mtashed went to the extreme and Tectone realized Mtashed true feelings.
Ok I have to correct my self, I’ve watched the VOD six times just to analyze every word they said. And my opinion hasn’t changed about Tectone and Hex when it came to how they ended the conversation, but I can’t defend Mtashed anymore. i just think that, Mtashed was kinda big in D2 and then swapped to gacha, during that "Process and Growth" of years and years it just got to him maybe.. that the content is falling off and that the public eye sees him as the "Guy who Quitts" "As a Clown" maybe even etc. To me it looks like a Chracter arch with going big! and then slowly decaying because of many many reasons and then snapping / lashing out :(. Tbf. my Opinion and that is a very hard thing to do, is to actually call your "friend out on their bs and then talk to them try to help them :)" instead of ending the Call, arguing and trying to win the argument, pushing out 4 vides per CC etc. but yeh, it's very very hard to not feel attacked and actually try and understand why your Friend acted the way they did ^^.
I don’t know about the jealousy part but I will say this, Mtashed needs to take a break and maybe expand his content because it seems like at least to me that he doesn’t want to play Gacha games anymore. Perhaps he should try his hand at commentary not with Gacha but other topics, like making fun of Gen Alpha brain rot and spreading awareness of how harmful this “content” is to children. Or talk about the latest screw up in the Triple A gaming industry, regarding shitty micro transactions and overpriced games. Anything to break away from Gacha gaming because I don’t like the path he seems to be heading which is making content just for money and little to no passion or happiness for that matter.
I agree, I like him but every time I see him being this miserable playing gacha games I feel like he should really quit this genre. Imo, he needs to find a new genre that he could enjoy instead of being miserable and always complaining. I know that playing these games pays the bills and stuff but seeing him most of his content is being complaining about this x, y, z games is just saddening.

I don’t care if you don’t like people defending you, instead of accusing Mtashed of being a white knight (which by the way Mtashed said before he doesn’t like her) how about you have a conversation with him and let him know that you prefer to defend yourself. Me personally if I thought someone was getting bullied and I tried to defend them and they accuse me of being a white knight, well, listen man uuh, I’m going to head out it was nice knowing you.

It was very clear already from Mtashed passive aggressive behaviour during some podcasts and many clips. Im not surprised this happened but I hate it and Im gonna pretend it didnt happen.

Mtash messed up. If he had a problem and disliked Tectone trough this time he should have striked him when atsu and envi striked Tectone. You got a better chance on defeating the final boss with teammates in a mmo game.
Tash I think was in the right but was derailed because he was unorganized with his points and let Tec get him off track. Plus Tash was heated and became hyperbolic. Fellow ADHD brain.:: The main point was…Tec bullies small content creators especially with how he talks down on them. Does Tec help them? Yes…but now it puts smaller creators in a weird place of whether they can bite the hand that feeds… Smack was another example where this happened but Smack stood up for himself with no fear and is a good debater….but even Smack said…Tec’s size made him risky to go against. Tread carefully because today you’re on Tec’s good side but eventually you may need to kiss the ring… Ps. I think Tec is an ok person or he tries to be…but intention and actions are different. You saw that with how Tash came off… Being in a bad mood doesn’t excuse Tec’s bad behavior and bullying of his “friends”

Yeah I did not like a lot of how Mtashed went about this, but I agree with the sentiment of "tectone is a dick" which was really the main point IMO. I don't like this whole narrative painting Mtashed as super jealous/envious. Maybe that's the case, maybe it's not but to establish it as some fact is pretty weird IMO.
@@IordArthas I can't tell 100%, it's posible... but again why would Mtashed be jealous? He's not as big but the guy is still sucessfull, has a nice house and a whole ass family. I'm having a pretty hard time thinking this is out of jealousy...
@@ozarazil5745 Yeah it would be super weird if mtashed lashed out due to jealousy. However I do not want to assume his thoughts and feelings in the same way Hex felt Mtashed was doing to her.
To add on to the jealousy and feeling of inadequacy, it’s especially bad if you consider the other person is doing things that you believe to be below standard, maybe you think you work harder, or you think the other guy is drama baiting, and it amplifies that feeling of discontent towards the other guy
