I wasn't sold on the Pulsar 23 immediately. But the more I play with it, the more it entices me. It has an organic quality I've never heard before in a drum machine, the patching can get really crazy if you want to, tons of fun sources for modulation (and cross modulation), and a surprisingly diverse sound palette. I think it fits in quite nicely with the rest of toys. What do you think? Patch notes below.

Patch Notes:
► Pulsar 23:
- I started with a patch by Mesak from the Soma Pulsar 23 patchbook
- everything is self patch (no midi sequencing, no looper used, all clock divisions and Shaos)
- using a few different clocks into a switch and then a gate to pulse converter for the bass drum rhythm
- the hihat and snare filters are resonating enough to be pinged
- the bass line is coming from the bass module being 'played' by Shaos
► Matriarch:
- super simple patch
- light attack and release on 4 note polyphony
- all oscillators are squares
- using Round Robin mode for automatic voicing changes later on in the jam
- going into a nice reverb on the Strymon Nightsky
► Buchla:
- envelope generator is opening LPG 1 and 2
- mod oscillator is a simple square
- complex is having its timbre modulated by the envelope generator and the pulsar
- running into a granular patch on the Hologram Microcosm
