Ok well this one is pretty sloppy, forgot to trigger my lightning strike which cost me a few turns. But an easy challenge non the less. #impossibleadvancewarschallenge
Nice! You tackled that southern island way better than I did. But you also had worse luck with capping those northern properties, them blasted battleships :v
I only saw the video pop up on my feed two hours after, I could have probably played a little better but once you prevent the base cap on the north there's basically no threat.
I feel like these challenges just keep getting easier. There were so many plays I disagreed with and some moves that were just straight up mistakes losing track of your targets in fog, but it got the job done none the less.

Being the first isn't easy, we are always bound to make mistakes when trying to post this fast so I wouldn't blame you for missing even your Lightning Strike ^^ I feel like Drake wasn't the best choice but Mangs wanted the naval specialist for the fun of it, he is just going for style points at this point. But clearly a possible challenge, even against COs like Kanbei or Sturm.
I had this map still relatively fresh in my mind playing it on the switch, the ai only ever sends over 1 infantry because it's really bad at using transports. So I already knew it was doable even under different conditions... Eagle isn't even that much worse than Sami because most of your caps won't get interrupted anyway lol. I'm messing around with a hex editor and might mail mangs a challenge of my own, see if he takes it.
@@NaturalCloudYeah, I realized quickly how easy it was to just prevent captures on both important places and gain control of the areas, the behavior AI wasn't really changed for capture objectives sadly ^^" Yeah, I actually think Eagle is pretty good here too, Lightning Strike is too much of a good power and as you said, your caps aren't really going to be interrupted anyway, even more when the AI loves shooting at transports xD I think Sonja would have been technically the worse (and I'm sure it's not that difficult with her either), which could have worked thematically too if he went Sonja vs Sami there instead. I doubt you don't but, just in case, there is that one place for hacking AW games, the Wars World News forum, where there are a lot of useful programs/scripts and info if you need it. Good luck with that challenge you are cooking, I hope Mangs will pay attention to it ;)
I feel like Mangs should try his hardest to make an impossible challenge, and then right before it's done, make it twice as difficult. Then it might take someone a few days to beat it instead of a few hours.
at some point wouldn't you have build a artillery on south ? I feel like it could have help you at some occasions after you build the 3 M-tank. It doesn't matter in the end, but I wonder
So ... what makes this an impossible challenge? Looking at it only briefly, it looks more like a standard tough campaign level, rather than "Impossible to Win."
