Theo has a good point on stocking different shoes, sizes and colours for each store. Which is why most shoes stores only keep very few pairs and then take the pairs from other stores to replenish other stores. Basically, keeping the inventory low

Color options are fine but the way I see it, shoes are associated with keywords like: comfort, fit, stitching, material, etc. You got to really promote your shoe band across all these factors.

not necessarily. many businesses work by selling franchises, what makes something a pyramid is whether those franchisees actually sell the product to costumers, or they re-sell it to "distributors "who then re-sell it, who then re-sell it, and the product rarely gets to an actual end costumer.

Depends if you want to own your company or not, that requires multiple funding rounds of funding and lots of dilution. That would be pointless for a small brand shoe company
