The big lesson of this Volume: You don't need to be perfect when you can be enough and to be enough you just have to be yourself.

The best part is that the airships above Vacuo are from all over the world, from every other kingdom. Ironwood was wrong. Ruby did make the right choice. The whole world is now united against Salem.

I just realized that when Summer shoulder checked Raven that Yang did that same thing in Vol 5.

Whatever happened on that mission with Raven and Summer change Raven dramatically to the Raven we know now. If you think about it Raven wants to be as far away as possible from her family yet she has a semblance that can take her straight to them💀On the other hand, Qrow probably would love to be around his family yet he has a semblance that makes him nearly impossible to be around😢 Considering semblance & a persons personality has a connection maybe they had different personalities in their Youth or maybe switched them. Maybe Raven was the lovable one and Qrow the antagonistic one until Summer Died and they kinda switched it because of guilt or something like that. I use to think that Qrow could have been the cause of Summer's death with his Semblance by accident or Raven could have helped her instantly but failed to do so. But since we have the scene with Raven and Summer going on a secret mission Raven could have been part of the reason why she's dead. Maybe she was too stunned to move like Ruby was in EP 8 where the rest of team RWBY and Jaune was fighting the Jabberwalker's and watch Summer die. Raven isn't evil she's just broken.

The cross over is one of the reasons volume 9 took so long to come out

You know the brothers from the Everafter makes a lot of sense. Kinda crazy that the tree basically sent them to another dimension just so they don’t fight in the Everafter. Also that Jabberwalker does the same weird twitching that the dark brother does when he transforms.

Summer rose is looking cute to be honest I hope we see more of her in volume ten

I love how Ruby was seemingly doing better against the cat by herself than the three of them were doing and yet she didn’t take him out alone. But despite how great that fight was, I have to say my favorite moment is definitely the scene with Little. Or Somewhat now I guess. This was a great volume and I really enjoyed. Glad to have joined you on the ride. ❤😊

I think this was the end of Neo's role in the story. She's found peace and now has to find a new meaning for her own life. She seemed to realize that hating Ruby gained her nothing. I think that little bow was her "goodbye" to Ruby. I did feel bad for the cat, he was made to be continuously curious by the Brothers and wondered why they abandoned him. He was not wholly evil, just had a bad draw throughout life. He was more bitter than malevolent. Edit: 13:10 The eyes would not work on the cat, though curiously(hur hur) he does share the Grimm skin color schema of black and white. Edit 2: Little's new form has some inspiration from Ruby; namely her scarf, possibly the gloves and belt.

Dude, this volume did so much for my boy Jaune. He got put through the wringer, sure, but I feel he's come through it stronger, wiser even. He got a chance to develop separate from Ren and Nora, and even had time to cope with some of his losses, though maybe not completely. And I'm happy they didn't keep him as older Jaune. It would be harder for him to connect with everyone with the age gap. At least we can appreciate what he will become...I know Weiss does lol

Jaune got to keep some of that wisdom he gained in his hair. I dig it.

I'd say the tree is more like the altruistic good version of the brothers themselves. While they act and believe like they know what balance is, they killed all of humanity over their own mistake and decided to leave Ozpin and Salem in charge of potentially just being their forever replacements just like the Cat and the Jabberwalker. The tree giving life to the. Makes perfect sense that it takes back and heals all and rebuilds without any favoritism or disdain. It's sad, the two brothers have a god complex that they think puts them on the same level as the tree but they themselves don't understand what it means to have all the power that they used to curse Salem with immortality and make Ozpin reincarnate. Simply leaving behind lesser variants of themselves by not learning from their mistakes

So, some theories I had of what probably happened to Summer If this was their rogue mission to "beat" salem then........ 1. Raven's dust blade broke(or however that thing works), and she made a new one as she was picking out her next target, and as she went to go slash at it, Summer came in last second and got the target not knowing Raven was there and Raven slashed and killed her by accident (So a Ruby/Weiss Vs Beowolf pack V1 moment) 2. Raven had a "Save you only once" clause for everyone on her team and Yang. And Summer used hers some other time, so they ended up having to retreat but Summer got surrounded and Raven did nothing 3. They got out numbered and Raven used her semblance so Qrow could swoop in and save Raven, not knowing Summer was with her, as he probably thought it was her and their clan and when Qrow was able to transform back to human, he had notice Summer, but it was took late 4. Summer's aura ended up breaking and got fatally wounded and Raven could've saved her by getting a portal out of there back to Tai or Qrow, but Summer told Raven to leave her as their time to escape was running out 5. Salem captured them both and made Raven watch her kill Summer and make her into a Grimm (if it is true and Summer did become a Grimm like the Hound from V8) then seeing that Raven could be useful later, released her and told her to tell everyone what happened in order to spread fear and panic, but when Raven did return, she just said Summer didn't make it and buried the memory of Summer becoming a Grimm deep into her mind, which would also be a reason to why she wants to keep distant from Tai, Qrow, Yang and Ruby

This is as an amazing and emotional rollercoaster ride. Probably one of the best Volumes in a very long time Also the DC d RWBY cross over is a collaboration that the two franchise did in the past. Made a few comics of what you saw and some more here and there. Though not as exciting as Volume 9 I’m gonna watch it

This episode absolutely bonked me in the feels. I Yelled out in such triumph when Ruby came out just the way she was and started KICKING ASS

Summer Rose, Raven & Qrow Branwen, and Tai Yang were on the same team as students so it's not super weird for them to be working together.

It actually isn't that weird considering the nature of Remnant that Tia would have another relationship, Its safe to say that the average replacement rate (pre vol3 ) for Remnant is WAY higher than 2.2 children per couple, after all

Here's hoping that volume 10 is announced at RTX

One of my favorite things from this finale is ruby fighting in the end, but not just because of all the other reasons. Ruby built her weapon to fight giant monsters. She always wanted to fight grimm, when she started out she didnt think of fighting humans. When she emerged from the tree, she fought exactly that. A giant monster. Exactly what Crescent Rose was built for

Neo my favorite character. They did her justice, a proper send off to the best character of the series

Summary, Raven is Yang's Mom, Summer is Ruby's Mom, (As far as I know Tai is their dad). Curious Cat lied about Alyx, but Jaune (as the Rusted Knight) knew the truth about the Cat's actions... Ruby hears Summer's voice saying "I love you, just the way you are." And it hit me in the feels too. Ruby didn't have to use the eyes, she has her team with her...equally. Neo comes to the realization she is wanting what Ruby has. Roman was lost in volume 3 when one of the Grimm ate him (literally). Neo has to figure out what she wants, and she may not be the same when she does return. And Little grew up...Jaune asked Somewhat to look after Juniper (named for his team JNPR). And don't worry about holding back the emotion. This is how CRWBY works. Wait until next volume. Watch the whole series when you get the chance. You'll get the whole story so far. #RWBY #CRWBY

Im happy she didn't pick up that damn axe. And the scene would've been more poignant if she just chose her weapon on her own without her mom giving her encouragement. That would be true inner strength on full display. I love the message of acceptance, even though it's not exactly the cure for depression. I hope the writers are aware of that.
